Well I'm not too fond of talking about me, I'd much prefer to listen to others and learn all about them - that's far more interesting. (BTW, I'm a young 50 - I'm told in looks, certainly in mindset.) Anyway, I guess on the plus side: I'm a giver; selfless; generous; non-materialistic; honest; faithful; funny; interesting; moral. My faith is central to understanding me. I guess I would be regarded by most of society as being "conservative", but all I know is I have to be true to myself, and I don't ram my views down anyone's throat. I'm no saint - though I wouldn't mind getting there one day! And now for the minus (can I get out of this bit?): apparently I'm stubborn (though I am very self-aware, so I try to rein this in); I'm a little bit sensitive (I think this is a weakness, though I'm hoping you might see it as a strength); I think I focused way too much on work and ambition, only for the penny to drop that work is nowhere near the most important thing in life! I guess, like so many things, timing is everything in life. Perhaps it's all about being ready? Finally, I can be impatient (patience really is a virtue). Who am I hoping to meet? Somebody to share life's ups and downs with; to have a laugh with - somebody who will improve me - and who I can spoil. Just laugh at all my jokes and we'll be flying!

I work as an Sales and Legal consultant for an import/export company. I am a traditional Catholic who has recently been taken back into the flock during a period of absence amongst the wolves (At least that's what others have called it). I am a devout Catholic but this surprises most of my friends as I don't come across as your typical religious person AKA Holy Joe. My faith is very important to me as is my devotion to St Michael. St Michael is the saint that brought my back to my faith and I pray his chaplet and prayers every day as well as the rosary. I trained as a Solicitor and in Feb 2014 I took the New York Bar Exam . The travel bug in me is just too great and I've already managed most of Europe, North America and South East Asia..I have varied interests from music, swimming, cooking, history, hunting, travel etc. Love all kinds of music with everything from Snow Patrol and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers to Garth Brooks, Thin Lizzy and Bach. Massive Manchester United fan so Liverpool fans need to be wary. Love walking around Slieve Gullion and looking out across the 9 counties and the Irish sea. I have very strict views on Catholic social issues and in all charity could never see myself with a woman who supported abortion etc, it's just not who I am.I'm an honest, funny, loyal and compassionate guy who seeks an equal, I don't believe that a womans place is in the home unless she so chooses. I firmly believe in equality between both partners as they grow their faith and raise a family with their Catholic faith in the centre. A life without God is a wasted one, something I have learnt the hard way and it is only through suffering that we discover who we really are and what our faith stands for. Anything else feel free to ask.
