A very outgoing, opinionated, non-judgmental person. I'm not a saint and I don't hold others to that standard either. As far as hobbies, I like to collect. I collect everything from old records to Catholic liturgical antiques. As a matter of fact I have the only site on the Internet promoting and selling Catholic antiquities. I like to learn about others; speaking three other languages helps me relate. You truly can be intellectual without being a nerd. So, I guess I'm unique in my own way as are all of God's creatures. And, last but certainly not least, a sense of humor too! Oh, and BTW, I'm Latino and the son of immigrants. 100%. But you'd never know by looking at me. LOL

I am a spiritual person.I believe that it is important to be the best person you can possibly be in life. I enjoy meeting new and interesting people who are educated in the area of teaching, law, psychology, nursing, I am most creative when I have gone to mass, and have recieved communion. It is then that I do my best as a professional photographer. I consider myself very athletic. It is a great outlet for me. Many of my friends in the past have told me that I am funny, and should work towards a stand up comedian tour. Would enjoy traveling around the country in a private bus, doing my writing...combining photography as an art, with a half hour stand up routine to make people laugh. I am somewhat of a thrill seeker. When I was younger I was really good at skateboarding, snow skiing and water skiing. I am usually up for something new and challenging. I am currently updating my skills & searching for part time employment to be able to do the things in life that I enjoy with that special someone. I have worked with resident council activities.Teaching Art 101. I had given a half hour slide show presentation of my graphic design work. Assisting residents to and from their rooms. I have excellent communication skills, and have worked with all types of people. I have a friendly and courteous personality. I know the mayor of a small town who has taught gradeschool to famous Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerburg. I feel sometimes that I have a lot of iconic, big ideas that I need to communicate to important influencial order for me to gain so that I can give back to the church and my country and attain is always a plus. I am a professional photographer. I find that my art is a spiritual experience, more God given than academic. In my leisure time I enjoy learning about the traditional catholic church. Such as the Latin mass. I like to take care of my body, mind & spirit by swimming. I like to continually learn how to improve my life, and those around me. I have grown tremendously in spirit, and maturity over the past four years by having a good mentor. He has really allowed to bring out the best in me by allowing me to be myself and enjoy doing the things in life that are most important to me. Such as aspiring for marriage with the right person.

I'm originally from Kansas, but I've explored other areas, the most fun and catered to my style of activity being Colorado. I'm certainly not afraid to do things by myself, but I could envision a "best version" of self where I was sharing joys like hiking, skiing, biking, camping, etc...with another who is seeking a partner in crime. I started as a teacher. I recognized early the gift that God has given me to take complex topics and make them C.S. Lewis-y (I was a theology teacher). I would love to teach in some capacity in the years to come (maybe RCIA, CCD), but my time in front of the students didn't capture my whole heart. Being artistic and creative from an early age, I followed a second path which started with photography and writing music for motion picture, progressed to graphic design, and has ended with software engineering. Writing software was never on my radar, but I'm in love with it. I have my own company and I know it's what I'm passionate about, because I'd do it for free even if it didn't pay anything. However, getting paid is pretty nice and it does support my love for coffee. Even though I strive to be balanced in all 4 temperaments, I'm a melancholic phlegmatic by default, which means I'm a deep thinker who's always making sure everyone is OK and happy. I like people and I like to have meaningful conversations. I'm very good at asking questions, because I genuinely desire to know people. To show others I care about them, I do acts of service by default (The 5 Love Languages), but I'm good about adapting to what a person may need in order to know I care about them. I like the simple things in life and I'm excited to share them with another - cooking, bike rides, glass of wine with a movie, throwing the frisbee, road trips, etc... Some hidden talents I play music by ear, so I'll compose something just for you on the spot. I have an out-of-control knack for remembering movie quotes, I do a great impression of a velociraptor dinosaur from Jurassic Park, and I can't be beat when it comes to cooking scrambled eggs or picking the best avocado out of the bunch at the grocery store. There's a lot more about me. What else would you like to know?

I am Kansas born and raised, but do love to visit other states (especially new places I have never been before!) The need to make various pilgrimages over this last year (year of mercy) was the perfect excuse to do so! Currently living in a small town, I don't mind it at all! With that being said, most of my community are of a Mennonite background. They are wonderful people, but I wish I had some more catholic friends to share the Faith with. I am the middle child, with an older and younger sister. I would say I have been very blessed in my life. Even with trials that may come up from time to time, our family have always remained close. We are always there to support each other in our own unique individual way. I would say that I am not the most outgoing person, but I am not the most quiet either! (Whatever that means!?) I currently work as an LPN, and am currently in training for my EMT certification for a volunteer position for my town; which I am very excited to complete and begin working. In my leisure time I enjoy working out, working out side around the house, sitting down to a good movie, or simply just going out for a drive.

The Peace of the Lord be with you always! I make an effort to go to daily Mass, as much as I can. I plan to pray the Rosary daily as well but I tend to forget, especially while I'm at work. I work at FedEx Office, which is essentially what Kinkos used to be, but we take packages. It's not NEARLY as glamorous as it sounds. I am currently going to school for Windows System Administration, and I have started working out with aspirations of joining the United States Marine Corps. I have a LONG way to go, but I am going to give it my all to make something of my life. After work, I usually just stay at home and keep to myself, but I am trying my hardest to break out of my bubble. Yes, I was married, keyword "was," and it's something that I will have to live with the rest of my life; it was a mistake that shouldn't have happened in the first place. It also happened at a time in my life when I was not what I would consider a "holy" person. I'm an open book, ask me anything you want! Have a great and blessed day!

If you asked my closer friends what stands out most about me I think they might say my love of truth. Truth and beauty move me deeply in all their varied forms. Whether the golden glow of a fading sunset across beautiful rolling farmland or the magnificent order that God has set in every part of creation, in all of these things I take delight.

Hello, my name is Michael; I have strong interests in the biological sciences, the oceans, the arts, and my Catholic Faith. I have a great admiration for the works of St. Thomas Aquinas, and love the Traditional Latin Mass. During my leisure time I like being outdoors studying nature, boating, drawing, and reading. I am originally from the East Coast so I like to observe and study whales and dolphins during the summer months; my favorite activity is being at sea.

I grew up in Michigan but Gods Providence has brought me to the Kansas City area. I spent a year in seminary which was an invaluable time in my life. I am an engineer and enjoy my work. The Catholic Faith is the most important thing in my life. I greatly enjoy Catholic Apologetics and my greatest passion in life is learning and living the Catholic Faith. I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, camping, whitewater rafting, inner tubing, and rock climbing. I also enjoy biking, going on walks, and snowboarding (when I get a chance to visit places with snow). I also enjoy writing, watching movies, and talking with people. People have described me as intelligent, deep, caring, responsible, witty, and enjoyable to spend time with. I enjoy playing board games, card games, and lawn games (like bocce ball) with friends and family. I also enjoy visiting places like parks, museums, zoos, unique restaurants, as well as national and international travel. I like continuously learning about many things, including science, history and documentaries, current events, alternative medicine, and religious and spiritual topics. I pray the rosary daily and am very devoted to Our Lady.
