50, Louisville, KYHi! My name is Pat. I am a white / caucasian male living in louisville, KY USA. I am 5'7" tall with blue eyes and brown hair. I have never been married and I have no children. I do not smoke. I am a Roman Catholic from the diocese of louisville and I attend Mass weekly.
44, Louisville, KYI am a philosophy professor and teach at KCTCS (Southwest Campus) and quite funny, I might add. I am more handsome than the great philosopher, Socrates; however, I am not as smart as he, nor do I walk barefoot around the city of Louisville, as he did in the city of Athens. My quest is to find the good, the true, and the beautiful. In the philosophical sense, this is of course God, but I hope to find these attributes in a woman. It is my fear that these are hard to find in a woman, as they are certainly hard to find in myself. It is my duty to be a devout Catholic and strong man, and I would expect as much from a wife. I especially love Latin, which I have taught a number of times. Unfortunately, most people have lost their love for dead languages. Most importantly, I run the Orestes Brownson Society (1803-76). Brownson was by far America's greatest thinker. I am 178 lbs. with a still-fearsome frame. If the truth be stated, I am still able to knock most men out. However, I am knocked out when I read the great thinkers of history.
34, Louisville, KYI am the third oldest of 8 children. I own and operate a CrossFit gym that used to consume my time, but recently have ventured into the Orthopedic sales world. I'm a big fan of coffee, food (all types) and quality beer. I really hate to fly, but love to travel. Are you a traveler or are you a tourist? If I have to choose between the mountains and the beach, I'm going with mountains 9 times out of 10. If I'm going to pick out a movie or a television show it will probably be a comedy, but if not it will likely be a travel/cooking/nature show. I'm not much into watching sports, but can enjoy a game if i can have a nice beer to accompany it.

50, Louisville, KYI am a divorced father of 3 children, ages 9-16. Looking to meet a nice woman for companionship, with a possibility that more will develop. I thnk that friendship is probably the best place where it should all start. I like to stay busy, doing things like walking, bike riding, visiting museums, taking scenic drives, going to natural and historic sites, etc. But, I hate doing those things alone. I am very family oriented and am active with my kids when I have them, but that is less than half the time, so I have a lot of time to dedicate to getting to know somebody special. I was stunned and devastated when my ex divorced me, but am ready to start the next chapter in my life. I would rather not go to bars to meet people... seems like that leads to the wrong type of relationship. It would be nice to find someone with the same basic worldview that we Catholics tend to have! My friend met her boyfriend on this site, and they are doing great together. She finally talked me into coming on here. I am honest, polite, funny, and try to be a gentleman (with a playful side). I am told by co-workers that I am one of the nicest people they know, and they admire my work ethic.
48, Louisville, KYI would describe myself as being a pretty content guy: physically healthy, financially healthy, great family & friends, spiritually following Jesus Christ, good job, nice house. Having all of these Blessings I still long to find my best friend. Someone to share my life with. If you want to learn more, feel free to ask away. Best of luck with your search!
22, Louisville, KYHi! I'm a manager at a bank, attending college part time. I'm studying business management at JCTC at the moment. I'm very adventurous and love hiking, camping, and anything outdoors. I enjoy going out and can appreciate staying in. I look for the fun in everything!
39, Louisville, KYI have had a chance to see several parts of the world both in the service and college. That was a lot of fun for me. I do enjoy good conversation. I like going to festivals like Oktoberfest or Irishfest. I always enjoy sampling the different foods and beers that they offer as well as just enjoying the atmosphere. I like doing projects at my home. I enjoy what the city life has to offer but also have property about an hour away in the country where my family lives. It has been a great place to go to and just enjoy. I have two adopted sons who have both graduated from high school and are starting new chapters in there lives. I never thought in a million years that as a single man I would have fostered and adopted two boys. It was definitely a leap of faith. It help me to see that God's plans are not always my plans. It also made me more aware that service is important to me. I get excited about where my life is going and the next adventure God is directing me toward. In the last two years I have begun taking care of adult people with intellectual disabilities. It has been very rewarding and eye opening to the different type of marginalized people we have all around us. You really don't have to go any farther than outside your front door to find those in need. I have a close family of six brothers, one sister and my mom who is still living. While I don't get to see them as often as I used to we have a great time when we're together. I am open to living in new places but at this time my responsibilities keep me in this region of Kentucky. However if I met the right person I'm very open to moving but it would be something I would hope would be discerned together. I spent some of my life to discerning a call a call to the priesthood. I was always taught that if you are Catholic man you should at least explore and be open to all of the things God may be calling you to. I am open to marriage to a person who is not perfect but who wants to grow in their faith and walk with someone who is wanting to do the same. My Catholic faith is important to me. I appreciate more what a great gift God gave me in the Church. Latley I have enjoyed the eastern liturgies in our faith. That has been a beautiful experience especially to see how diverse the church really is. Glory be to Jesus Christ! Glory be to Him forever!
50, Shelbyville, KYHi, I am retired, full of life and really open to intelligent conversation, a positive attitude and no pressure of any kind either. I am non judgmental and like all kinds of different things. Not a coat and tie kinda guy unless its for special occasions. Coffee is always a good starting point or maybe a walk. Something open and secure not sure what I am looking for i leave that up to the big guy.
26, Lebanon, KYI'm most passionate about church. I go to Gethsemani as often as I can for daily mass and love visiting as many churches as possible for Sunday masses. I know roaming around from church to church isn't the best for getting to know people but I hope to join the church of whomever I decide to get involved with. So it's better in the long run (and fun in the short term) to just be an alternating visitor.
