I am a fun loving guy who lives life to the fullest. I am a single father of a beautiful 19 year old daughter! I like to laugh and make friends. People who know me will say that I am a caring, loyal friend who likes to joke around but is a great listener and has broad shoulders to lean on in times of need. I love going to movies to get away from the rat race of life and am a big UK Wildcat fan!
  • Michael, 41 from Georgetown, KY
    41, Georgetown, KY
Aloha, my name is Michael, born and raised on the island of Maui, relocated to the "Bluegrass State", and have resided here since June of 2009. I was baptized into our Roman Catholic faith as a toddler, grew up in the church since my parents where highly involved in our old parish community, served as an alter boy from the age of 8 and up until I was 18. During my teenage years I served with our parish youth group on several community projects, food drives, volunteered at the local homeless shelter, worked with other troubled youths, and was also the president of our parish youth group for 2 years. A few years after graduating from high school I got involved with a local car club called "Forbidden Pleasures", and continued to serve our community by fund raising for local charities. Most notably our local "Toys for Tots" program which brought together other churches in our island community, raised funds for an event which was held just before Christmas, all the local car clubs would donate toys, gifts, and bikes to all the children that where less fortunate than most. Currently I'm involved with our local parish and school community by volunteering my time in prepping for one of our biggest fund raising efforts that help our parish school students. AKA bingo! I'm not what you would consider your typical Catholic, but in many ways I am. I've experienced many things in my life's journeys some good and some bad. But my faith has always given me the strength I needed to continue to push forward. My best friend Jonah, who I met when I was 16 and knew up until he passed away in 2012 was the most influential person in my life. To me he displayed everything about how one should live their life. I miss him to this very day and our conversations. He always had a way to cheer you up when you where down and he had a laugh that was infectious! You could help but to laugh when you heard it! He was and still is the primary motivating force in why I do what I do. He truly knew the meaning of love and life! I love you Jonah and miss you bro! Nowadays, when I'm not working my two jobs, I like to hang out with friends, spend time with my two boys, I love cooking, and grilling. I also enjoy working on my car, that's when I have car parts to put on, going to car shows, watching sports, playing video games, that's when my kids aren't playing on the Play Station, and being outside to watch the sunset or looking at the stars.
  • Chris, 42 from Frankfort, KY
    42, Frankfort, KY
Born and raised in Kentucky. Lived in Los Angeles for more than a decade. Currently bide my time between the two places, as projects dictate. I am a writer (TV, movies, and books). I love having a creative project to work on. I love reading spiritual books and watching movies and going for a run. After reading too much Thomas Merton, I once thought I could be a monk, but I spent a weekend on retreat at a monastery and was ready to get out by the second day so I could listen to the radio and grab a burger. Though I do love the peace and beauty of monasteries. I try to be kind to myself and others, and to gradually become who I'm supposed to be in the context of God's love and grace.

  • Justin, 32 from Georgetown, KY
    32, Georgetown, KY
Hi. I am a 32 year old who has lived in Georgetown most of his life. I like to describe myself as an outdoorsman. I really enjoy the serinity of nature and the peaceful quiet that comes with it. That is not to say that I don't also enjoy a good conversation or a night in town. As you could guess my hobbies revolve around outdoor activities: hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, hiking. As much as I enjoy these things they are much more fulfilling when shared with someone else. But most importantly, faith goes beyond my hobbies which is why I joined this site. In the hopes that I could find someone who understands me and how much faith in God makes a relationship work.

I'm passionate about everything, really. I love my work which is landscaping. I've owned my own business for about 21 years and do most of the hard labor myself. I like physical labor, being outdoors especially in quiet settings wit birds and nature. Of course landscaping offers the rewards of being creative. In my leisure time I do some walking on a wooded trail which runs down to the Kentucky river where cliffs can be seen. Being an introvert, I like to read or be quiet if I've been around people all day. I do like to talk and can talk a lot, but sometimes silence is crucial if my batteries are to be recharged. What is most important of all is Catholicism and living for Jesus. I totally love the Mass, the Sacraments, the Blessed Virgin Mary and reading great Catholic works. For example, last week I read Pope Leo XIII's phenomenal encyclical, "Satis Cognitum." Virtually every day I talk to Catholic friends about the faith. I often talk to non-Catholics to encourage them to become Catholic. I talk to family and friends who are worldly to persuade them to come into the Church to save their souls. Or I talk to Catholics to get them to be faithful to the Church about truths they often aren't aware of.
  • Alex, 55 from Richmond, KY

I am a little shy when it comes to talks abou myself. Nevertheless, I considers myself a person with good sense of humor and easy going. I enjoy home cooking and some time messing up with recipes(too often). My two boys are my food taster (poor boys, but they are very honest and critical). I like to travel international, whenever is possible. My first destination is the Caribbean. I also enjoy outdoor walking, reading, movies, and theaters. I left the rest for some one interested in starting a friendship
