34, Lexington, KYI have just started my degree path this fall and will be pretty busy with school work. However, I enjoy watching movies, shooting guns, and riding roller coasters as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and kayaking. I'm looking for someone to share some of these adventures with.
32, Lexington, KYMy family is important, and I'm beginning to realize lately just how important they are. My brother is married with 3 kids. My nieces are amazing, I love spending time with them when I can! Most people would describe me as quiet, intelligent, highly motivated and highly devoted. I love having goals to achieve, and then pushing myself harder and further to make them. I'm a Software Engineer/Test Engineer, which means I devise ways to test and break things to ensure a better product gets shipped. I love my job and my coworkers. I've been a homeowner for about three and a half years and am glad I have! I have worked hard throughout my life to succeed and get ahead; hard work and determination are something I highly value. If you like what you read/see, or just want to talk, feel free to drop me a line!
41, Somerset, KYI am a highly educated, old-fashioned gentleman. I am considerate and enjoy making others feel happy. My interests include history, classic films, politics and nature. I believe that people can lead lives that are both rich, full and varied, while still being people of discipline and honor. Despite being a lawyer and a politics professor, I have a strong sense of humor. As human beings we are all too flawed for us to fear making fun of ourselves.
48, Frankfort, KYFinding the Catholic faith has been a life changing event for me. Having a son has been life changing. My resent divorce has also been life changing. Within the ups and downs I still believe in in love, the love I have for our Holy Trinity, my son, and family. I enjoy bicycling and outdoor activities. I also enjoy be lazy on the couch reading, watching a film or listening to music. I have been a high school Lacrosse coach for twelve years.
53, Lexington, KYI am a 54 year old divorced male originally from Dayton Ohio and now reside in Lexington Kentucky. I enjoy family and friends, reading, sports, working out, traveling and music.
29, Lexington, KYGrowing up, sports were always a big part of my life -- as it is for most people -- however I'm lucky enough to work in sports as an adult and it's more than just fun and games and people running around. I have a very strong and promising career with a global company that I'm excited to work for everyday. It allows me the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented people and the biggest college athletic departments and conferences in the nation. I come from a very tradition Catholic-American family that has grown in the past few years with the addition of my brother-in-law and my nephew (the baby in my photos). Ideally, I'd like to have a family similar to the one I grew up in. I've been in Lexington for just over five years and have come to appreciate everything it has to offer. Having grown up in Louisville and gone to college in Richmond, it's nice to have those ties just a short drive away. While sports is a large part of my daily life, I balance it out with traveling, reading, movies and friends.
58, Wilmore, KYI'm passionate about everything, really. I love my work which is landscaping. I've owned my own business for about 21 years and do most of the hard labor myself. I like physical labor, being outdoors especially in quiet settings wit birds and nature. Of course landscaping offers the rewards of being creative. In my leisure time I do some walking on a wooded trail which runs down to the Kentucky river where cliffs can be seen. Being an introvert, I like to read or be quiet if I've been around people all day. I do like to talk and can talk a lot, but sometimes silence is crucial if my batteries are to be recharged. What is most important of all is Catholicism and living for Jesus. I totally love the Mass, the Sacraments, the Blessed Virgin Mary and reading great Catholic works. For example, last week I read Pope Leo XIII's phenomenal encyclical, "Satis Cognitum." Virtually every day I talk to Catholic friends about the faith. I often talk to non-Catholics to encourage them to become Catholic. I talk to family and friends who are worldly to persuade them to come into the Church to save their souls. Or I talk to Catholics to get them to be faithful to the Church about truths they often aren't aware of.
28, Paintsville, KYQuick rundown to serve until I can write something more substantial: : -I'm a single Catholic layman hoping to find and build a relationship with a good Catholic woman, with an eye toward marriage. -My favorite prayers, when I can get my lazy butt to say them, are Pope Pius VII's Seven Sorrows of Mary prayer and the rosary. -I'm in my third year of employment as a maintenance worker at the local community college (BSCTC), though I'm actively pursuing other employment. -I spend most of my free time messing around on the internet or listening to music, but I also like to pause things from time to time and just lose myself in a daydream. I've lost more hours than I'd like to admit that way. -I've tried my hand at different hobbies and have enjoyed experimenting with them but, apart from gardening, none of them have really "stuck". -I have a soft spot for the art of animation, though I have no talent for it myself. -I genuinely enjoy the taste of buttermilk. Blame my Dad for that one. -Introvert. Cat person. Consecrated to Mary.
44, Lexington, KYI consider myself pretty dependable. I place a huge importance on keeping my word and honoring my commitments. I'm endlessly curious about the world we live in, so if I'm not on vacation, I'm probably planning my next one. My family is full of big personalities my childhood was filled with laughter. I guess that's where I get my sense of humor. I'm lucky enough to have found a career that I love. It's amazing how much of a positive affect it's had on the rest of my life. I look at things from a very rational and logical point of view. I believe that if you just apply a little logic, you can solve any problem. Call me an optimist, but I tend to believe that things will work, no matter how bad. My positive outlook has helped me get through a lot of challenges. I'm a "tell it like it is" person. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, but most times people appreciate knowing exactly where I stand. I'm at my happiest when I'm taking in a good show with friends this didn't just happen, though. I've been really into music since I was a kid. I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. I think it's because I like to listen just as much as I like to talk. People find it easy to communicate with me and I think that's a big reason why. People say I'm quiet-natured, but I'm actually just a really good listener. I don't talk as much, because I like to process and think before I offer my opinion. Im a movie buff. I fully embrace my nerdy side and am looking for someone who's in touch with their inner-geek too! Serving my community means a lot to me. I believe that if you're in a position to help others, you should. As a person with a disability and advocate, I serve on several local, state, and national committees. My passion is martial arts--it serves two purposes: keeping me in shape and giving me time to clear my head. If I'm not at my local dojo, I'm training to become even better at it. I believe you dont train until you get it correct; but you train until you cannot get it wrong. Overcoming my disability to become a martial artist is an accomplishment that I am proud of. It has been asked, what am I looking for? This is a difficult question for anyone and it may sound clique. But, I feel any relationship should start with a start base of friendship built upon the bedrock of honesty, trust, understanding, respect, and mutual supportmoral, emotional, spiritual, and physical.
