63, Newport, KYI am a very active 5,500 year old man. I am a flight respiratory therapist for a midwest childrens Hospital. My hobbies include: dining out, running, bicycling, gardening, sport shooting, fishing, and holding Pentecostal snake handling tent revivals. ;-) Indoor activities include: building large projects and furniture. For relaxation, I enjoy reading and playing the bass guitar. I love traveling to big cities, national parks, the beach. Discovery everywhere. I love the crash of the surf on the beach, walking across slippery stones in cool mountain streams, soft pastel sunsets of the desert southwest, and lovely, fragrant colorful flowers. However, I also enjoy simple pleasures such as a glass of wine outdoors on a warm summer evening, laughter with family, holiday traditions, etc. I have rebuilt my entire house with an artistic flair in which I have woven into it's design, expressions of peace and serenity. I am setting the table of my life and am inviting you to reply. I love to write, so you might fully understand my goals, values and dreams. 51, La Grange, KYI have no expectations for what may or may not happen by being a member of this site. I am completely comfortable with whatever fate God has in store for me. I don't always understand where He takes me or why I end up where I do, but I try to always put my trust in Him. The more I have grown in my faith the more convinced I have become that if I am to meet another woman and have a life with her, that it will be a necessity that she have a good solid, moral Cathollic background. My faith is too important a part of my life to have such a fundamental part of me and my life be in conflict with my spouse. I don't want to have to "teach" and "hope" that someone will come around and trust in the Catholic faith. If you're browsing on this site you're probably pretty grounded in your faith, so welcome! About me - I have a great zest for life! I enjoy traveling, being outdoors, playing golf, reading, eating out, cooking, history/museums and many other elements of life. I'm fortunate in so many areas of my life, like work, home, neighborhood, and the "extras" of life - all the credit goes to God! Thanks for reading and I truly wish you the best of luck in your search.
34, Paris, KYMy name is Drew and I'm the super proud father of the most beautiful 4 year old little girl on the planet. I love children and being a parent. If you're not big on either, best just move along. Family is a big part of my life and though mine isn't nearby, we talk and get together often. Again, if family isn't your thing we would probably not click. With those things in mind.. I am a firm believer in honesty, respect, faith, and morals. If you lack any of those 4 things or struggle with them let's not waste each other's time. Also, please don't say you're a strong advocate of my 'big 4' just to get mine or anyone else's attention. Just be yourself! With all that out of the way...... I'm looking for someone to settle with eventually. Someone who... Wants to actually take the time to get to know one another... Wants a family... Has it together (for the most part)... Doesn't do drugs or drink heavily.. Can hold a conversation... Likes children... Has some pride in their faith and/or spiritual belief... Knows how to have fun... Knows how to be serious... Knows how to love... Knows how to give of themselves... Doesn't understand the concept of being selfish... I guess I could go on but hopefully you're getting the idea here. Lastly, some things I enjoy: Spending time with my kiddo, reading, Netflix, swimming, exercising, going to the movies, listening to ALL kinds of music, playing guitar, travelling, going to restaurants, cooking, anything outdoors, videogames, staying in, going out, football (GO PACKERS!), Olympics, singing, Sunday night dance parties (get to know me and you'll learn about this one), being spontaneous, trying new things, staying active, going to the gym, meeting new people, coffee, family time... Again, I could go on!im To sum this thing up (if you're still with me that is)... I've been single a long time but know what I want and work hard for what I have. I know how to treat people and expect the same in return. You may be surprised what I have to offer :)
49, Dry Ridge, KYAre there any woman out there that like to be treated like a lady? I still believe in chivalry and treating a lady like a lady. Hi, to tell you a little about myself. I have (3) kids, (2) of which live with me part time. My kids are very important to me and I take pride in being a good dad. My Faith is also very important to me. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I enjoy going out for dinner and/or a movie as well as staying in and watching a movie. I enjoy going to comedy clubs, playing sports (with the kids) and watching sports (football, basketball, baseball). I enjoy working around the house and on cars. I am also always willing to try something new. I'm a good, honest (to a fault), intelligent, considerate, sincere, genuine, polite, faithful man that finds the best in others. I have a good (sometime sarcastic) sense of humor I have been told. I believe Honesty and Good Communication is the Foundation of All Good Relationships. I also believe Compatibility and Chemistry are important. I feel when you have these things in a relationship, everything else is a bonus. I'm looking for someone with kids who shares my religious beliefs (catholic). If your interested in finding out more, please respond.
32, Georgetown, KYHi. I am a 32 year old who has lived in Georgetown most of his life. I like to describe myself as an outdoorsman. I really enjoy the serinity of nature and the peaceful quiet that comes with it. That is not to say that I don't also enjoy a good conversation or a night in town. As you could guess my hobbies revolve around outdoor activities: hunting, fishing, shooting, camping, hiking. As much as I enjoy these things they are much more fulfilling when shared with someone else. But most importantly, faith goes beyond my hobbies which is why I joined this site. In the hopes that I could find someone who understands me and how much faith in God makes a relationship work.
31, Stanford, KYI'm the oldest of 5 children.I have two brothers and two sisters all home schooled K-12. I currently work as a security officer at a major hospital but plan to pursue a career in law enforcement. I'm pretty quiet but very friendly with everyone especially when I have become comfortable with them. I really love interacting with people at work. I enjoy working out, bike riding, and amateur radio activities but 3rd shift has been a real challenge for me. I'm into firearms but haven't gone shooting in a while. I'm on the fire dept. so between that and work I'm pretty busy. I want things neat, organized and clean. I'm not a fussy eater by any standard and will do just about anything for the right amount of chocolate LOL. Even though I'm a native Floridian, I don't care for the heat and the cold doesn't really bother me too much (well.... this winter has made me a little more open to warm weather!).
58, Wilmore, KYI'm passionate about everything, really. I love my work which is landscaping. I've owned my own business for about 21 years and do most of the hard labor myself. I like physical labor, being outdoors especially in quiet settings wit birds and nature. Of course landscaping offers the rewards of being creative. In my leisure time I do some walking on a wooded trail which runs down to the Kentucky river where cliffs can be seen. Being an introvert, I like to read or be quiet if I've been around people all day. I do like to talk and can talk a lot, but sometimes silence is crucial if my batteries are to be recharged. What is most important of all is Catholicism and living for Jesus. I totally love the Mass, the Sacraments, the Blessed Virgin Mary and reading great Catholic works. For example, last week I read Pope Leo XIII's phenomenal encyclical, "Satis Cognitum." Virtually every day I talk to Catholic friends about the faith. I often talk to non-Catholics to encourage them to become Catholic. I talk to family and friends who are worldly to persuade them to come into the Church to save their souls. Or I talk to Catholics to get them to be faithful to the Church about truths they often aren't aware of.
50, Shelbyville, KYHi, I am retired, full of life and really open to intelligent conversation, a positive attitude and no pressure of any kind either. I am non judgmental and like all kinds of different things. Not a coat and tie kinda guy unless its for special occasions. Coffee is always a good starting point or maybe a walk. Something open and secure not sure what I am looking for i leave that up to the big guy.
44, Lexington, KYI consider myself pretty dependable. I place a huge importance on keeping my word and honoring my commitments. I'm endlessly curious about the world we live in, so if I'm not on vacation, I'm probably planning my next one. My family is full of big personalities my childhood was filled with laughter. I guess that's where I get my sense of humor. I'm lucky enough to have found a career that I love. It's amazing how much of a positive affect it's had on the rest of my life. I look at things from a very rational and logical point of view. I believe that if you just apply a little logic, you can solve any problem. Call me an optimist, but I tend to believe that things will work, no matter how bad. My positive outlook has helped me get through a lot of challenges. I'm a "tell it like it is" person. Sometimes it gets me in trouble, but most times people appreciate knowing exactly where I stand. I'm at my happiest when I'm taking in a good show with friends this didn't just happen, though. I've been really into music since I was a kid. I think I'm pretty easy to get along with. I think it's because I like to listen just as much as I like to talk. People find it easy to communicate with me and I think that's a big reason why. People say I'm quiet-natured, but I'm actually just a really good listener. I don't talk as much, because I like to process and think before I offer my opinion. Im a movie buff. I fully embrace my nerdy side and am looking for someone who's in touch with their inner-geek too! Serving my community means a lot to me. I believe that if you're in a position to help others, you should. As a person with a disability and advocate, I serve on several local, state, and national committees. My passion is martial arts--it serves two purposes: keeping me in shape and giving me time to clear my head. If I'm not at my local dojo, I'm training to become even better at it. I believe you dont train until you get it correct; but you train until you cannot get it wrong. Overcoming my disability to become a martial artist is an accomplishment that I am proud of. It has been asked, what am I looking for? This is a difficult question for anyone and it may sound clique. But, I feel any relationship should start with a start base of friendship built upon the bedrock of honesty, trust, understanding, respect, and mutual supportmoral, emotional, spiritual, and physical.
39, Louisville, KYI have been fundamentally content with my story thus far... I have a steady, intellectually-challenging job I enjoy... a house to make my own... a close circle of good reliable friends to hang out with... and family that unconditionally loves me. I've devoted so much time finding myself, that I haven't devoted much time finding someone else. I think I know who I'm looking for, but ultimately I'm not sure. We would motivate and challenge each other to be better people. You would ignore my humor, while I try harder for attention. We would have as much fun going out as staying indoors. By day, I work in technology/computers. But, after-hours, I like to have fun like anyone else. My name is Jeff, nice to meet you! "
