I'm not good of talking about myself, but I'll give it a try anyway. I consider myself honest, considerate, loyal, and sincere. No head games from me. There are 2 big things that I have a passion for: family and sports. My family means so much to me that I spend as much time with them as I can. Especially with my parents. We have our family days every Sunday if possible. If I don't see them, you bet they will be getting a call from me to check in with them. I have 1 nephew and 3 nieces. The nephew I spoil him as he was my own son. What ever he wants, you bet his godfather with get for him, within reason. The nieces, they steal my heart. When they smile, it just melts my heart. They try to look at me as if they try be good angels at times. The other passion is sports. I ejoy watching college sports mostly, you know, LSU. I'm a big fan of the purple and gold. But I do enjoy playing outdoor games as well, baseball, basketball, football, etc. You put a sport in front of me, I'll try it at least once. Coaching youth basketball is a enjoynig experience for me. Meeting new kids every season and giving them my knowledge of the game. I get a thrill of a child that does't know a thing of the game and just watch him mature by the end of the season. Sometimes its not bad to stay indoors on weekends with some rented movies (especially on those rainy nights) and eating out with some friends. Or just stay home, call some friends over and give them a good home cooked meal and just sit around catching up on old times. A good sense of humor is a big plus with me. Cutting up and having fun is a big stimulator around me. I hope to find that special someone with similar traits and values as I do.

Here is a little discription of myself: I am a descent careful person, love to spend time being with others, and helping them to. I was raised a Catholic, and went to Catholic Schools except the 12th grade I went to a Public School. I have moved from a few little towns in South LA I love to dance, swim, walk or run, workout, talk, shopping or look around Malls and stores, go riding and see scenes and go to events, visit people, and like to please another.Since I was 20 I lived in Baton Rouge, and never moved. On my Job now I am taking care of a man who had 2 Replacement of his Hips at the Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. Before this Job I worked at the Morris Kirschmans & Company, for 5 years in Baton Rouge, LA. At the present time I am living in an Apartment, and it is in a nice location. If There are any additional information that you would like to know, just ask and I will respond. I hope you have a great day.Right after I Graduated from High School, I had a Traumatic Head Injury and thank God I survived from it. My total life has change after this Automobile accident that caused the Head Injury. The head injury happened in 1976, and that has been a long time. I do not drink because the Medication that I take will not work if I do. It is OK to go out, dance, or any activity for you to drink. I am going to the YMCA, at this time, doing a workout and swiming. I have a swimming pool at Apartment that I live in.

-I am 30 years old, about 5"10, and average build. -I am just a small town country guy. -I am a Catholic, even though I don't attend church as much as I know I should. -I have my own house, vehicles, and money so therefore I am NOT looking for someone to support me or just to mooch off of me- I am into almost anything outdoors: Hunting, Fishing, Mud Riding, Fitness, Boating, Camping, Bonfires, Cooking, Football, Motocross, Music, Playing Acoustic Guitar, Movies, Being around Family and Friends. - I listen to mostly country and rock music, new and old but also listen to other genre of music. I guess it just depends really on the mood and where I'm at.

    31, Metairie, LA
I have lived my entire life in Louisiana and love everything about it. I center the Catholic Faith around most decisions I make in that God is part of everything we see everyday. As time has gone by I still work often but am tapering off and concentrating more on spiritual development as a deep relationship with Christ is the only way to begin to find happiness in this life and have it in the next. I don't get caught up in drama or games that only waste time. However, I enjoy spending time with people that are important. In my leisure time I enjoy reading, keeping up with current events, watching EWTN, and playing sports. I'll go out to a bar and grill occasionally, but prefer to keep things low key, laid back, and easy.

I'm a good guy who loves to enjoy life. I finished grad school at LSU, got a job that I love, and am looking for someone to be with. I am the oldest of five and have a close knit extended family that is important to me. I have varied and eclectic tastes in most things and enjoy pretty much any activity from hunting with my dad and brothers to spending the day in museums. I am as comfortable in jeans as I am in a suit and tie. I'm fairly outgoing but have been known to have occasional bouts of shyness around new people. I am looking for a smart, independent woman who loves life, doesn't take herself too seriously, and has an idea of where life is taking her.

I'm easy going, and can have fun doing almost anything, going almost anywhere. It's the people I'm spending my time with that are most important. I'm close to my children, though I don't get to spend as much time with them right now as I'd like. Having said that, I have a lot of free time to enjoy the food and culture of this amazing city. I was raised here, but have lived away since college until just recently. I am REALLY enjoying immersing myself back in its culture. I'm a big LSU and Saints fan. I enjoy a good glass of wine and love to cook. Looking for someone to share my interests with.
  • Kurt, 24 from Bourg, LA

    24, Bourg, LA
Hello I am Kurt. I am just a "small town southern man" with an old-fashioned heart that believes being a mother is by far the most important job in the world. I'm very easy going and a bit of a nerd and love things like Excel, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings. and technology. I also was a very athletic person before my stroke and love watching athletics and being in the sun. My entire family (excluding my mom) are/were big athletes so we can be pretty competitive (that part includes my mom ha). We love playing cards, occasionally board games, and watching TV. The biggest thing from my stroke is that I'm obviously handicapped now, but I also can't talk. I have a very big laugh and can't hold emotions in like the typical person can, so you will definitely hear that laugh... You've been warned lol You can ask me anything else you would like to know. I am an open book:)

I'll just start by saying that I'm a bit of an oddball. I'm passionate about my faith, but I also enjoy things that some people might not be too crazy about such as European heavy metal bands, Gothic fashion, and horror movies. I currently have two jobs. My full time job is basically a desk job at an organization that takes care of people with developmental disabilities. I also make large props for Mardi Gras parade floats part time. I attend Mass daily (usually), and I'm a huge fan of EWTN. I have a bachelors degree in fine art, and I enjoy making sculptures when I can find the time.
