Hello. For whoever is reading this, everyone calls me Johnny. I didn't get serious about GOD until I was about 17. Just a few friends (6 of us) from a small school started a Catholic youth group that in less than a years time grew to over 40. We did not even actively recruit. Just from word getting around, people sought us out to join. About 30% was not even from our school or town. At first we had no structure. It was just a small group of friends meeting. When we started growing, we then need to organize and have a formal structure. I was one of the 2 voted by majority to be a youth group leader. We went on the do allot of community work etc. After we finished high school (myself included ) the group fell apart. It was during that 2 years that we raised enough money to charter a bus to go to Colorado for a week and attend World Youth Day 1993. We hiked 5 miles to a valley area called Cherry Creek Park where for 2 days about 2 million people were camped out in nothing but sleeping bags in a open valley/field. We shared Sunday Mass with Pope John Paul 2. It was during the Consecration part of the Mass that I had a moving experience. Long explanation, but thats the short story. I'm a sucker for a girl that has a soft, warm, and giving nature. I have an enormous amount of love to give and will give all of myself to that one special person that in return will do the same to me. I want to share my life with someone that has the utmost respect for life that loves GOD, loves children, with firmly planted ethical, moral, and religious values. I Love GOD and go to church daily. My faith is part of my daily life. I like to have fun with family and friends.(Just to be clear, I call my future Wife and Children, my Family)(They will be my highest priority) I try to be direct and to the point. I don't hide, lie or play games. I'm not the biggest, tallest, richest, greatest looking guy out there but I'm friendly, sociable, kind, respectful, generous, caring, and deeply loving. The same could be said for the person I want to share my life with. Above all and foremost the woman I'm looking for has to have Honesty, Trust, Commitment, and Respect. (respect for herself and for others) Without these core values, a relationship will not survive. I hold these values deeply in a way that is very rare these days and I don't cross these lines for any reason. If you think you're that rare type that is willing to be the Love of my Life, I would be honored to speak with you.

    42, New Orleans, LA
I am a fairly easy-going fella. Socially, I enjoy meeting my friends for pub trivia and having a few pints, and the monthly(ish) game nights hosted by various friends. I am quick to make a decision about whether to trust someone or not but am generally amicable to most people I meet. Basically, the more you hear me talk to you or others, the more I trust them. I enjoy listening to people and often try to get them to talk to me far more than I want to talk about myself.
  • Richard, 31 from Baton Rouge, LA
    31, Baton Rouge, LA
I came down to Baton Rouge in 2011 to teach physics and robotics. Before that I lived in the Chicagoland area where I had been born and raised. I am passionate about teaching and it has done a lot of good things for me. My students constantly inspire me to do more and to be better. In my free time I like to do a variety of things. I enjoy reading fiction, including fantasy and science fiction. My hobbies include writing fiction and hobby programming. In case you did not catch it from the subjects I teach, I am a bit of a nerd :) With my friends I spend a lot of time playing boardgames, video games, or pen and paper role playing games. I believe that I should be constantly improving myself. This can range from teaching myself new skills to learning new things.

I am a native New Orleanian who likes outdoor activities and sports, as well as the arts, music, reading, cooking, etc. I work hard and play just as hard and would love to meet someone who shares my values, interests, and simple love of life. Obviously I'm not a great writer.
  • Russell, 55 from Baton Rouge, LA
    55, Baton Rouge, LA
Like many of my generation, I drifted away from my Catholic faith on an invisible tether, quite unaware that a deep and profound God consciousness had been lovingly instilled in me as a small child by parents, by the very early and numinous experience of Mass and of the Holy Eucharist and that I would surely and inevitably be gently drawn back into the arms of the Mother Church that originally gave birth to this consciousness. Someday soon, I would like to rediscover the wonders of my Catholic faith with a compatible woman who has herself experiencing a similar reawakening.

  • Caleb, 29 from Mansura, LA
    29, Mansura, LA
Hello ladies, My name is Caleb, and I'm a former traditional seminarian, who is now looking to get back in the game for finding my future bride. I'm looking for a realistic possibility a dating someone within driving distance, getting to know them but also being able to have a good time with her (i.e., going out to dinner, going see a movie, learning to dance together and then putting that knowledge into practice, etc.) No doubt some of you will think (once you read my unemployed status) - "Oh great, a bum that wants a woman to support his lazy *#@$." Quite the contrary - as I mentioned earlier, I'm a former seminarian (they told me I didn't have the calling, I didn't choose to leave), so I'm now looking for work, and not just some "flipping burgers" type of job. I'm looking for one that will pay well, well enough that in a few months I could have enough establishment to start a family. I'm not here for games, I'm looking for the real deal. Why not give me a shot? If I happen to catch your attention, please contact me so we can chat. God bless!

  • Michael, 30 from Baton Rouge, LA
    30, Baton Rouge, LA
I am a medically retired combat medic who is going back to school for biochemistry to one day hopefully veer some students in the right direction. I brew beer and make wine, I do enjoy a good drink at the end of the day, but when it is accompanied with good company and family. I am not big on the bar seen, I would much rather have a cook out or fire over at my house and eat and find some games to do. I most always will not go out to eat crawfish, when you can boil them it just seems more enjoyable to do a sack or two and call a few friends and family over to eat.

  • Evan, 22 from New Orleans, LA
    22, New Orleans, LA
I'm a small fish in a big pond. I'm currently pursuing my passions in medical school in New Orleans and all I know is that I want to use my passions for healing in the service of God and to be a witness for His saving grace. I enjoy artisanal coffee, craft beer, fantastic stories (especially those written by JRR Tolkien). I enjoy discussing theology and philosophy (though I'm admittedly not the most learned in these studies), and I'm simply looking for a companion who I can grow with and learn from.
