"I'm a dreamer, I have a lot of big plans and hopes for my life and am still at a point where I am figuring out who I am. Just trying to live in the now and not give up on being a hopeless romantic. I'm the not-so-average, classic-old-school-style guy next door. I'm looking for someone who's also a bit young-at-heart and doesn't take themselves too seriously. A sense of adventure and wanderlust is a must. My ideal partner is someone who is genuinely kind; who is straightforward and honest with their feelings and opinions. I really value hard work, education is of vital importance to me and the person I'm looking for has ideally pursued college education. What I hope for most of all is a killer sense of humor, I love to laugh (preferably all the time), comedies are my favorite movies."
Also, over the past few months, I've been away traveling to Europe and Asia. Saw a lot, and learned a lot. Also during the past few months, I graduated, and I am now a young professional. Moved to Portland Maine to start my first professional job. With the current workload, I will likely decrease my involvement on CM.
Old info prior to 7/1:
I'm inspired by the Navy seals.
I want to have a lasting, positive impact on the world.
For the past 4 years, I have been improving my life a little at a time. Physically and mentally. I've been waking up earlier, studying longer, exercising more regularly, and working harder than I ever have in the past. And although it wasn't easy or without bumps along the way, I am able to say that I am becoming a better person.
Why I work so hard:
Over the past 5 years, I have volunteered at at nursing homes, hospitals, and overseas humanitarian missions. Seeing how much pain, suffering, and poverty there is in this word is heart-breaking. However, seeing all of it also made me want to do something. I work hard to better myself, because I want to help others who are hurting and those less fortunate.
Finally, I want to improve on my people skills. I am on CM to meet someone to share these experiences with. I look forward to meeting people who will help me to become an even better person.
"Life's too short to be so serious all the time. If you can't laugh at yourself, call me... I'll laugh at you for you"
