49, Madawaska, MEA widower who's trying to adjust to a new life with two teenage sons my oldest has special needs both are the joy of my heart. Trying to rediscover my old hobbies such as photography and doing historical reenactments. I have learned many things these past twenty years one is no matter the ups or downs trust in God's plan which to me is similar to a high-wire act with no safety net. Must tell you up front, my late wife had suffered all her life from a long illness, but if you had met her, you would have found the most generous soul with such empathy that despite her suffering was always in a cheerful disposition always thought of others before herself. She inspired me every day even though I still feel so unworthy to have been her husband. Back then before the last two years of her life before the prescription medication killed her, Deana was a fighter. You see Deana, and I had two sons our oldest son was vaccine injured that left him on the autism spectrum. When our son with autism was about 2 and a half, he went from developing normally to just shutting down. For the first year, our son struggled. Deana had gone to school wanting to be a special ed teacher way back in the late 80's early 90's. During this time Deana did her best to learn about autism, but services were so hard to come by where we live in Maine back then. Deana knew some things about special ed law and what state agency to tap on for help. With all this taking care of our son's needs and her health wore her, so it obliged me which was my cross to stay home to help take care of her and to help look after our son. Deana got disability, and I did some online retail.
37, Westbrook, MEI was born and raised in Portland, attending both St. Patrick's School and Cheverus High School. After spending close to 8 years working in Washington, DC I returned to Maine to do some advocacy work. I've been the Portland area Field Agent for the Knights of Columbus since June 2013. I am a bit of a workaholic, and haven't had much time to date, which is why I'm here. I am also a member of the Cheverus Alumni Council. Between those two time commitments, I try to find time for friends and family. I'm the youngest of five (3 older brothers and an older sister). I'm a floater in terms that I don't belong specifically to one Parish, although St. Pius would be the closest. Given my role with the KofC, Cheverus, and my upbringing, my faith plays and has played, a central part of my life. I am very close with my parents and siblings, whom I try to see every 3 months or so. It is more difficult with all of us living at least one hour away from each other. I enjoy sports, both attending events in person or following the Boston sports teams games live on TV, history, sightseeing, and cooking. I'm an average cook but can surprise people from time to time. I've been very blessed to come from the family I do, especially to have the parents I do. They truly were two of the leaders at the old St. Patrick's Church. I'm looking for that person who will truly be my partner in life - my best friend. My parents have been married for 58 years and have the healthiest of any relationship I've seen. Growing up in my family we often joke with each other and I find laughter to be a great outlet, especially in one's most challenging times. But definitely looking for someone to grow with, to spend my time with, share my faith with, and hopefully, marry and start and grow a family with. While I've built a pretty solid work resume, the two roles I want to succeed in the most are those of husband and father.
33, Portland, MEWorking stiff in Portland Maine. I enjoy snowboarding, being outside, reading, and being active with the Knights of Columbus. I currently share a house with 2 friends and 2 cats. Looking for someone to be happy and healthy with
