35, Ellicott City, MDI spent most of my life growing up in a suburb of Cleveland, OH. After high school I went to college in Ohio and earned a Bachelors Degree, eventually moving out to the D.C. area to take a position as a contractor, and most recently as a federal government civilian. I am socially and politically conservative, do not smoke and drink very rarely. I enjoy watching comedy and sports movies (although I do like some dramas). I occasionally watch R-rated films, but stay away from horror movies. While I am not a risk-taker, I do like trying new things. I enjoy eating out, going to amusement parks/water parks, visiting area attractions, as well as attending festivals and events only found in the D.C./Baltimore area.
57, Cumberland, MDI was originally born in Lima-Peru and came to the US in 1982. I keep my Hispanic heritage but have embraced the American life style with it's richness , high principals and morals. I work in the Travel Industry, it is my full time job. I love to cook, specially grill. I have a 19 year old son who I adore dearly but who doesn't live with me , I used to live in the Charles Town area West Virginia for 7 years and loved it very much but I moved back to Fairfax but now I live in Cumberland MD . I work at home, telecommute. God gave me the miracle to land a job in the Travel Management industry and now I have a small home based office. So, no commute, no stress and my current employer is fantastic. Their standards are very high and so is it's technology so I am quite happy with them since they have been a blessing to me. That is the reason why I was able to relocate to a much quieter area than Northern Virginia. Never heard of Cumberland before a very close friend offered me to rent his apartment and since October 27 2014 , I am a Cumberlandian! I must admit everybody is very nice and polite, so far I have explored only a little bit in downtown and can't wait until the Spring and Summer to enjoy the spectacular views.

36, Annapolis, MDHi there! I returned home to DC last November from two years in Okinawa, Japan and four years in the Marine Corps, where I was an Intelligence Officer. I am the oldest of seven children, ages 12-33, and I was very lucky and blessed to grow up in a great home environment. Nothing beats family. I loved the military and living abroad, but they are the reason I returned home to Maryland. Without the people you love in your life, what else is there really? Anything I spend my free time doing is great as long as I'm with people I care about, whether that's watching football on Sundays, hitting up downtown Annapolis, going to a game or bar in the city, rowing up the Shenandoah, visiting friends or watching WWE with my little brother. I go to Mass on Sunday, usually St Mary's in Annapolis nowadays, and I love Mom, Disney World and the Pittsburgh Steelers! I don't like Tom Brady, Beyonc, or the Atlanta Braves. I LOVE to laugh, I think it may be the most underrated joy in life. Having had the good fortune to live in several different places, I'm a big believer that it doesn't really matter where you are, but who you're with. I joined this site because it's a great way to meet someone outside of your normal circle and hopefully hit it off. Any chance to meet somebody you otherwise wouldn't have and learn about their story is a win in my book. As far as what I'm looking for, I'm not really into making a big checklist: when you know you know. Besides, it's the guy's job to impress you, not vice-versa. Great to be home, looking forward to meeting someone new. Hit me up :)
61, Gaithersburg, MDI enjoy meeting people. I enrich my life through the relationships i am lucky to make. I love reading, movies, sports, cooking, travel. I have been influenced by all people I have met so far in my life. I have learned from their experiences, actions and thoughts. I have been influenced also by the books I have read, especially the bible. I love animals, the ocean, rivers, mountains. I enjoy being close to God's wonderful creations whenever time and resources allow me.
47, Gaithersburg, MDI love my job doing research in a biotech company to develop novel vaccines. Since I was a kid, I was fascinated by the nature of sciences. It led me to become a scientist. I continuously learn new things everyday. When I was in college, I went on a budget travel in Europe for about 2 months. It was a priceless experience and opened my eyes to other cultures (I'm originally from Korea). Photography is my another passion so I visit gardens in DC metro area. I also run half marathon and marathon every year. This year I went to San Francisco to run a half marathon.
23, Cockeysville, MDI love travelling, good italian food, and all types of music. In my free time, I enjoy reading biography's, watching HGTV, and tuning out from the world with some good music. I am a devout Catholic who loves everything about the mass and the Catholic Faith. When I was college, my dad got very sick and I was desperate and I realized how much I needed God's help because I felt I was out of options. Through prayer, I found peace in what the future would bring. Thankfully, my dad made a full recovery but I never lost that desire to grow closer to God. I try to live out my faith as complete as I can. I do not talk about it much but everyone I work with knows since I keep a photo of John Paul II and Pope Francis on my desk (doesn't everybody?). I am a very outgoing person and I love to make people laugh. I just moved to Maryland and I cannot wait to meet some new people and get to explore this area with someone. I am a low key guy. A date to me can be as simple as a Saturday morning hike or lunch at Chipotle (I Love Chipotle) but can also be fancy.
26, Germantown, MDOne thing I am very passionate about is getting to know people on a personal level. I love to ask a question and then sit back and just listen and absorb what a girl is saying to me. I believe we all want someone who wants to listen to us and I genuinely enjoy being that person for people. In my free time I like to hit the gym, watch some Netflix, maybe grab some sushi and just hang out with good people. I have a phenomenal support system that is my family, whom I am very close with and also consider my grandparents to be two of my best friends. We are extremely close and I thank God all the time that I have been blessed with parents and grandparents as good and supportive as them. They have made it so I never have to hesitate if I need someone to talk to or fall back on in tough times, and I like to think that I have been there for them as well. I do look forward to meeting someone who can share in the same joys and interests as me. I am a massive fan of the show Friends, and if you are too, it will make sense that I'm looking for my lobster.
