Hi! I'm an entrepreneur and a financially secure small business owner. From Chevy Chase, MD originally, but I recently bought a condo in the DuPont/Logan Circle area of Washington, DC, so I'm now downtown. Friends describe me as passionate, thoughtful, honest, committed, sharp, a good listener, funny, and well-grounded. To which I'd add: independent-minded, intellectually engaged, and decisive, but I definitely also have a down-to-earth side that ranges from sensitive to silly. My relationship with Christ, family, and friends are the center of my life. I enjoy traveling (e.g., just visited Phoenix; Guam and Nicaragua coming up this fall!) and trying out new restaurants; lead an active life and am always up for outdoors stuff; love museums, live music, deep conversations in hole-in-the-wall coffee shops, pick-up soccer, and staying in to watch a good movie; and am unapologetic about my sarcasm, but somehow end up apologizing often enough. I love going out with friends for drinks or to the occasional highbrow event, heading to the local climbing gym or outdoors for a hike, but often just prefer to relax at home reading or watching a movie. What else? I went to a local prep school growing up and then Williams College in MA, where I was a student-athlete. I've traveled extensively throughout the US and Europe and lived in France for over a year. Four years ago I started a "boutique" registered investment advisory and financial planning firm, which is awesome because investing is one of my biggest passions and I actually enjoy my job. It's so rewarding to help people in a concrete way, do what you love, and set your own hours! And it's certainly never boring. Business is going strong and has grown steadily, so I'm just looking to find a great person to create memories and share life's blessings with and to love unconditionally through the ups and downs. P.S. Some random fun facts: Watermelon is my favorite food, follow by avocados. Sunglasses: never owned 'em, but want to. I used to dream in French. My vision is 20/10. I love the scariest roller coaster rides, but would probably never sky dive or bungee jump...except with the right person :) Three is the number of World Cup starters that I grew up playing on soccer teams with. And ending a sentence with a preposition is one of my pet peeves, but I just did it anyway.

I am a people person and I love to help people of all ages. I love to make people happy and to make them laugh by telling jokes at times. On my free time I love working with kids in sports because I love to play and watch sports. I help Coach a Boys HighSchool Varsity Basketball Team as well as a Girls HighSchool Varsity/ J.V. Softball Team. I also play Basketball and Baseball in a very competitive league for men. I am a 4th degree member of the K of C and when scheduled I am a Lector in Church. In my School days I also went to a private school and then a public school.

I am passionate about being a good person. I was successfully married for 50 years to the same person. I was a practicing patent attorney for Ford Motor company and the US Patent Office. Looking forward, I expect to meet new challenges and overcome in them. In my life, my mother and brother have been the most influential. My mother raised 13 successful children and my mother never gave me bad advice. My brother is the best example of an honorable and most successful person I've met. In my leisure time, I like to follow politics generally and sports. My active abilities in sports are in table tennis, golf, and regular tennis. As a spectator, I enjoy college basketball and professional baseball.

Hi! I'm a foreign doctor who arrived in DC in 2015 to work for the US government. I came from a country blessed by a strong Catholic tradition; my country has the largest Catholic community in the world spread in a territory larger than the US without Alaska. Besides loving my work in the US, I like outdoor activities, such as biking, rowing, hiking, etc and l love reading classics such as Shakespeare, Dostoevsky, and books on politics and philosophy. Also, I like to hang out with friends and explore the DC area. I can say I'm really impressed with so many things I'm now discovering day after day about the US.

Hi! I always look forward to making a difference in people's lives. Everyday is an opportunity to glorify God. I hope to meet someone with the same passion and to share God's blessings with. I work for a federal agency just outside DC that promotes public health. The work is challenging but really satisfying in that it helps to protect people's lives. I try to balance work and play by enjoying venues and sights around the capital area with friends.
