A little bit about me, more will come later, when you write to me: After 35 years in the Foreign Service of my country (U.S.) I retired last October. As a Catholic I always dreamed about knowing more about my religion, my Church, its origins, its history. I always thought that once I reach the end of my professional career the very first thing I would do was to live in Rome, to study history of the Church and enjoy the art, history and cosmopolitan aspect of this city. I thank God that this dream is becoming true. I signed my retirement papers on October one and three days later I was already for my first class at the Gregorian university. I had other options: to teach in a U.S. university, to retire in my little ranch in TX (see my goats and other animals, and make use of my almost five thousand books private library) I opted for Rome. At this moment I am on the second semester of my Program: History of the Church. Some of my former colleagues, after knowing about my choice, are beginning to wonder if I am crazy; but I feel just fine besides, I find that living in this city is a real and unique experience. I am catholic, never married, no children. The woman I would like to spend the rest of my days with should be someone who shares the same Catholic and religious values I have, willing to form a family with the same values and principles, sincere and sensitive to the needs of these less fortunate. During my career, especially in countries like Peru, Colombia, Rep. of Congo, Tanzania, and Angola I spent lots of my free time doing what it is called: a lay missioner, it was very gratifying experience. Other things I like to do: reading, listening to music, (Classical, Jazz) playing music (Accordion) take long walks, going to concerts, art exhibitions, theatre, or just sit down and write. I would add that most of my career was done in African, European and Latin American countries. I love meeting people from other countries, other cultures, other ways of living and other languages; I consider myself fluent, or almost fluent, in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French and some Swahili

If you think you might be interested in my profile; please read it before messaging . God bless you. Hi, thanks for taking a look at my profile. I'm most passionate about God the trinity. I'm one of those people you call reverts. I've been defeated by the beauty in the fullness of the truth of our mother Catholic Church. To be a practicing Catholic is the only thing to be for any human being. If you have one of those profiles that says " yes to most" trust me 2000 years of wisdom guided by the Holy Spirit are right and you're in error. I'm more than happy to share with love these things with you. I'm just a guy hoping God wills a wife for him so I can give my life for her the way Jesus did for us. Thanks, and I hope that you are reading this and you might be her.

Is almost a year since I moved to DC Metropolitan area. I have been raised in the catholic faith and I would love to continue to practice the beauty of the faith. I try to be very active, I like to do sports whenever possible, enjoy a good movie and I also like the popular music. It would be great if I read a little more, but that's something I am working on. I enjoy going out to eat and outdoors. I am looking forward to meet a woman who wants a male friend in her life, a fun partner, a confident and to share mainly the faith, to get to know each other and hopefully discover her inside beauty as she can also let me be the male roll of her life. It must be someone that loves God, that's the main reason of why this site, a woman that likes to go out, dancing, outdoors, dining, likes the beach and eventually if we match, seek the blessing of God in our lives. Faith is a way of life that has bring joys to my life, I hope to find someone to share it with, and someone that would like to have a honest, fun and hard working man in her life.
