62, Essex, MDYes, we all just hate this part of introducing ourselves in print ..... so here goes! Firstly, growing up Catholic, religion has always been a part of my life, and I know God it out there with us. I attend church religiously, pun intended, every week that I am physically able, and try to treat others with courtesy and respect, and as God intended for us to do. About myself, I would say that I am a person with many good qualities by which I live: easy-going, friendly & pleasant personality, excellent sense of humor, good character, honest, honorable, ethical, level-headed, intelligent, respectful, courteous, healthy, and reasonably fit. I come from a small family, so I value family and friends. I'm from the "old school" Catholic education, with conservative thinking and morals, so I have those old fashioned values. I am seeking a mutually strong foundation of friendship, potentially leading to a long term relationship with a woman of similar goals. My interests are varied, but mainly include photography, ham radio, target shooting, and slowly getting into woodworking. . I am single and never married, no children, and free to marry within the Church should things come to that level; non-smoker, no drugs or alcohol abuse. I am also fairly recently retired from the rat race, having taken the plunge into work-free freedom as of Jan. 1, 2015, a sort of birthday gift to myself.
61, Catonsville, MDI am a single catholic male, 51, looking to meet a woman who is interested in a long term relationship leading to marriage. I have a college degree, and after working 23 years in the criminal justice system, I took early retirement due to the stress of the job. I have been trained as a certified mediator, and now volunteer a few hours a week as a consumer protection mediator. I am also employed part time in library administration now. So I'm getting a chance for second careers and hopefully will find something I really enjoy. I'm also looking to have fun and enjoy life doing things and am hoping to find that woman to enjoy my life with.
61, Greenbelt, MDPerhaps the greatest treasure in life is to find that special person with whom you could share a meaningful relationship grounded in the fundamental precepts of Catholicism. While physical attraction is important at first, it is not enduring and I would like to meet a practicing Catholic with a good sense of humor and a zest for learning and adventure. I am an accomplished professional who recognizes that God has not put us here merely to achieve temporal success. Balance is the key to life, and I am looking for that special person who could fill a void in my life, but more importantly, who I could give commit myself to totally. A product of an athletic family, I am an avid exercisor. I also enjoy reading and boating. I am currently refurbishing a 37-foot cabin cruiser and I would love to have a special Catholic lady along with me on its maiden voyage.
79, Annapolis, MDI am retired law enforcement with 30 yrs service but still work to stay busy. I am widowed now for 6 yrs. I totally believe in being honest, caring, trustworthy and faithful in life, I feel this is what gave me a wonderful marriage and a good career in law enforcement. I feel more comfortable in blue jeans than a suit and tie, but I can dress up if needed to do so. I enjoy the outdoors. When not working, I spent time at my mountain house enjoying the wildlife and all that nature has to offer. I am a true believer in my faith. This strong faith in God has saved my life several times in my career. To me, a person without faith in God has no real values in life.
67, Elkridge, MDI've been off this site for several years now, but I thought I might give it another try. l got married late in life. I was busy building a successful restaurant business, which after 22 years I sold. I have three children, a set of 22 year old twins and my youngest son of 15 .I have custody of my youngest son and its my desire to keep his life as normal as possible. I'm doing the high school thing all over again. I got through my freshman year ok, I still hate homework ! now I'm getting ready to be a sophomore. My boys live with me and my daughter with her boyfriend, much to my displeasure. I was educated by nuns and brothers which ,I did not realize it at the time, have been a great influence in my life. My faith is of great importance in my life. I would be lost with out it. I hope to find someone I can really connect with, but I accept the crosses that I must bear, after all , look what he did for us !!!
70, Silver Spring, MDFor most of us, another person in our life is so important for our happiness. I enjoy everything when I can share the little adventures of daily living with a friend. I prefer to read than to watch TV. I like some of the drama of sports teams, but not as an addiction. I look for stories about relationships. I have fun laughing with friends and helping to keep our time together fun. I would want to serve rather than be served especially when the need is the greatest. I keep healthy habits in order to give my body the nutrition and exercise to keep it strong, agile and vibrant. Children are important gifts to be appreciated, guided, and supported. The family is the center of spiritual development along with physical growth and health of all sorts. Love is an ongoing, continual process of our will. Emotions are valuable for our balance and need to be appreciated and embraced but not used to guide us in handling challenges. God guides us always when we allow Him. We need to learn how to receive and act upon His Will. Jesus, I Trust You---TOTALLY.

60, Cumberland, MDThere is a mistake I can't fix. It says I'm divorced but I'm actually widowed. I'm just a regular guy looking for companionship. Been out of the dating scene for 20 years so it's not so easy. I'm a positive person who looks for the best in everyone. I have 2 daughters and 4 grandkids that I love dearly and they take up a lot of my time. I started a new job last year that caused me to lose 20 lbs and I continued by going to Planet Fitness and have now lost 45 lbs. I feel and look better than I have in years. I like movies, theatre, flea markets, going out to eat, etc. I'm not into camping, fishing or hunting. I'm not a big sports fan either. I do love racing particularly NASCAR.
66, Prince Frederick, MDI`m a down to earth guy with a good sense of humor. I have an easy going nature with a big heart and I`m Loyal and honest. I am emotionally and physically healthy. I have a clean, orderly, neat, and stable lifestyle. I would say I am more on the casual side. I`m interested in a close relationship with my partner. I`m ok with alone and free time, but I am not interested in a lonely relationship. I am not into dating a lot of people but looking for a quality person that wants to share a more meaningful relationship. I have been told I am sensitive and kindhearted and I would like to find a partner much the same. I`m picky and won`t settle. I enjoy classic cars and car shows. I also like boating and eating out on the water. I find staying home can sometimes be a welcome luxury. I especially enjoy watching a good movie on a cold night with a glass of wine and a warm fire, with my special lady. I would say I have a lot of old fashion values and traditions but I don`t think I am an old fashion sort of guy. I have two grown boys that I cherish. My family has always been number one to me and I don`t expect that to change. I would love to find someone looking for a lot of the same things. Trust is the foundation of a great relationship, without it not even friendship is possible. I think communication is another key component of a lasting relationship. I am looking for someone to share great times and make memories with. Eventually sharing a great live together. What I am looking for is friend, one who could possibly turn into a best friend, and if things worked out, could possibly become the love of my life. I have much more to share but it can`t be done here. If you are interested maybe I`ll hear from you.
