I am an educated, professional guy that enjoys travelling with friends, either internationally or locally. I recently spent 4 days in beautiful Central Oregon cycling, rafting and actually took a glider flight! I enjoy going places and doing things. I also enjoy cycling, motorcycling, sandy beaches, great food with great friends. It is the experiences that make life wonderful and interesting. All of the above would be much more fun with someone of similar interests and passions. Is it you? Let’s find out?

I am a good guy, looking for the right woman. I have a great sence of humor and would love to make you laugh. I am also a gentleman. I am a transplanted Florida boy, living and working for the Navy is southern Maryland. I love playing golf and working-out. I also like snow skiing (which is unusual for a Florida boy!). I like going out to eat, history, visiting museums, traveling. I prefer ladies who know what they want...a partner. I am an easy going guy and prefer easy going gals. If you are interested let's go out to dinner, get to know each other and see what happens.

Overhaul! (Effective 8MAR2017.) I am a man; classical definition. Stoic, reserved, stubborn, and a few rough edges. I possess a fiery spirit that often lies dormant, but in combination with a rigid system of belief and concrete principles, it lends itself to obstinacy. Particularly with regard to matters of truth. I endeavor to see the world as it is, and I tend to speak in a very direct manner. Congratulations on reading this far, now we can get to the positive traits! I jest. It's all downhill from here. Courtesy and politeness are a given (I grew up in a military household), but they go out the window if they are not reflected. (I have a deep distaste for anyone being described as little more than "nice". That's not a description, that's a placeholder. "Niceness" in men is disgusting.) My own military service has gifted me with both a dark sense of humor, and considerable perspective. Most notably, it *can* always be worse! So I'm not often shaken by events unfolding around me. Indeed, lighthearted humor tends to abound amidst my own misfortune. I'm told such a quality is both endearing and infuriating. Too bad. Not changing it!

I consider myself to be personable, patient, warm, friendly, considerate, independent and told that I have an 'off the wall' sense of humor. I enjoy my job, continuing education, volunteer positions, working out, playing/watching football, bowling, volleyball, baseball, walking and biking. I also love music (almost any genre other than opera). I attend church weekly and have a strong faith. I enjoy helping those who are less fortunate to the best of my ability. do the best that I can to carry out God's will and/or what I believe He would call me to be or do on a daily basis. I also believe that God does not give us more than we can handle...

I am passionate about my family, friends and living life in a positive, happy and active manner with integrity that would be an example to others. I look forward to being with family and friends. The most influential people in my life have been my parents. I was very fortunate to be raised in a wonderful family by parents who truly loved each other and their children. They knew what was really important in life, set a great example and put each other and their family first. In my leisure time I enjoy being active. I Iike bike riding, hiking and canoeing. I also appreciate history and the arts, including the National Gallery of Art.

Hi! Thanks for visiting my profile. I grew up in a large, close-knit Italian Catholic family in NJ, and we still get together regularly. I have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.A. in Theology (so I'm qualified to rewire a church). I have worked in the computer field for 20 years. I moved to Maryland in 2011 to start a new job. I am honest, generous, romantic, emotionally mature and stable, able to appreciate the other's point of view. I have a good (Seinfeld-type) sense of humor and enjoy word play. I like to find the humor in daily life and try not to take myself too seriously. I like to have a healthy lifestyle and prefer participating in sports and activities to watching them whenever possible. I enjoy singing and playing guitar with our contemporary choir at church. I belong to a walking club who do 10k walks at various scenic places around the DMV area. I recently began performing in community theatre and am always looking for my next opportunity to ham it up. I am also active in my Catholic singles group with hikes, museums, and game nights. I am interested in local and national politics and current events, and look for opportunities to use my talents to help others in my church and community. My perfect day would include outdoor exercise, work that I enjoy, prayer, and time with friends; good conversation, lots of laughter, singing, boardgames . . . . . I enjoy taking care of a loved one and making her feel special. So drop me a line. I look forward to meeting you. :)

Interview time! I mean really - that's what this is all about. Its kinda like going to buy a car, getting a job etc. Check out all the options, see what catches your eye and then go from there. I guess if you have gotten this far, my photos have passed the visual check and now you need to make sure we have some things in common. I'm actually always open to meet people that have different interests than I do because it's always a great way to learn about/experience something new. But you're here to learn about me so here goes: -I am Roman Catholic, and I live everyday looking for another way to server Jesus. - I work at Subaru - The worst job I ever had was working at Sprint - My friends and family would consider my best attribute to be a good listener and that I have a good sense of humor - I had my first crush at age 13 - My favorite subject in school growing up was math - If I had one wish for the world it would be: world peace - My favorite sport is soccer.Go Eagles! In my free time I enjoy cooking, going to see movies, and going to concerts. I just saw Yellowcard and Matt Maher, going to concerts or sporting events, and just hanging out with friends. Oh, I also really enjoy food and my favorite place to go is Red Robin, yum! My ideal date would be Something fun! Bowling, arcade, laser tag, maybe a sporting event. Anything else you want to know I would be glad to tell you. I am an open book, ask me anything.

My chief passion is the study of history. European history is my preference, but I am constantly adding to my eclectic library. In addition to history, I spend quite a bit of time reading historical fiction or fantasy. I also read on religious subjects from time to time. My favorite authors in order of precedence are: JRR Tolkien, Hilaire Belloc, Gk Chesterton, Evelyn Waugh, and CS Lewis. Plutarch is my favorite historian. Additionally, the Colombian Nicolas Gomez Davila's acidic and pithy aphorisms have recently come to my attention-sometimes too cruel, but in many cases there is much truth to be found. After reading, I enjoy lively and varied conversation with friends. I used to watch quite a lot of movies and shows, but my appetite for them has waned. I enjoy casual sports, though I am an exceptionally bad athlete. My favorite sport is soccer, followed by the much less organized sport of sword fighting with my younger brothers. I enjoy singing, particularly folk music of the British Isles or the Middle Ages. I have very recently begun to take up the more cultured arts of dusting off my now very rusty Latin, and taking up calligraphy (my handwriting is TERRIBLE) Progress in these forays is slow, but it's there. If I have success in these pursuits, Greek and dancing are next.

I am a passionate coffee connoisseur/addict. I also look forward to sunny days to ride my motorcycle to places near and far (a lot of the time those places are coffee shops). I've recently become more active in my faith. In the past, church was a place to go on Sunday to remind you of The Rules. When I renewed my faith a few years ago, my relationship with God and the mass changed dramatically. My faith really changed the way I see the world.
