32, Baltimore, MDI recently passed the eight year mark in my job contracting for the federal government. I like it pretty well...there's variety in the work, and most people I work with, like me, understand that work is not the most important part of life. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 2007, after taking some time off from school to work in Richmond, VA and then spend four months in Italy. Then i went to grad school/started working full time. I guess I should also mention that I'm an internationally-recognized award-winning chef. It's true: I was on TV in Canada for my winning entry in the Cicada Cook-off a couple years ago. The two greatest compliments I've ever received: "Everything you do is tainted by your Catholicism." and "You have a very soothing voice. You should be a 9-1-1 operator." Unfortunately, I'm not sure that either is true, but they made me laugh at the time. Also, I live in Baltimore, so that's fun.
26, Silver Spring, MDMy name is AJ. I'm not very good at writing about myself but I'll give it a try. I was born in Scranton Pennsylvania and have been living in the DC Metro for the past five years on an off. I went to CUA for my undergrad and am trying to get my life together and realizing I want to share the ride with someone. I am trying to understand what God has in store for me as I make my journey. I have always been open to possibilities both with people and opportunities. Truthfully speaking I'm a geek, I got excited when my roommate brought home the unedited Star Wars movies. I am a big reader, gamer, golfer, and wanderer. I haven't really figured out exactly what I want in life yet, but I'm moving forward and that a positive to me.
32, Laurel, MDHello, I am Wil. I am naturally shy and soft spoken, at first. Often confused with being too serious, but get to know me and the slightly sarcastic, nerdy, goofiness comes out and we'll have fun. I like road trips, theme parks, movies, eating out, and the occasional historic tour; got to always keep learning something right? I love my family, enjoy quality time with friends, and recently discovered a passion for flying. A man of few words, sure, but who says thats a bad thing?
27, Baltimore, MDI'm an easy going guy who is focused and driven. I travel a fair amount and enjoy seeing and doing new things. I also like to cook, watch Netflix/movies, go to concerts/sports games, volunteer, cross-off items on my bucket list, work out and spend time with family and friends. I also have a goofy side and like to have a lot of fun and good laughs. I am half Italian & half Peruvian. My family is a huge part of who I am today. I got my BA degree from Florida Southern College and a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from Indiana University. I recently finished working for an international nonprofit and now do development consulting for dioceses and parishes across the US. I see myself continuing to work with and for nonprofits, eventually becoming a CEO in the future. I work in Michigan during the week and go back to Baltimore on the weekends. My faith is also a huge part of who I am. I know that with God's love and support anything is possible! I have been very active in the Catholic communities in the past and am very intentional about improving my faith. 27, Bowie, MDHi! I have never written something like this before so bear with me. I'm a high energy guy who can have fun doing anything if I'm with the right people or person. I'm an Eagle Scout and am still involved with helping the next generation of scouts achieve success. I am equally comfortable being on an adventure with camping, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, etc. as I am being cozy at home, playing games, watching movies, and cooking. I love learning new things and skills, games, puzzles, and parties with close friends or family. I am very competitive but not in a 'have to be the winner' way, more that I just enjoy competing. I place a high value on friendship and family and I think loyalty is one of the most admirable traits a person can have. I have my J.D., have passed the MD bar, and recently became employed as a member of the State's Attorney's Office for Prince George's County (I'm a prosecutor)! More on that below. My faith is incredibly important to me and has informed every aspect of my life (Which I'm sure is pretty normal on this page). My prayer life is pretty good, though, to be honest, my mass attendance isn't the best. I've occasionally considered becoming a lay member of the Trinitarian Order or joining said Order but I'm pretty sure I'm being called to family life. More on that below too. Trivia - I'm a playwright for the Boy Scouts of America and have had seven plays performed - I'm also an actor for the Boy Scouts and have appeared in front of a 15000 person audience - I'm an assistant coach for the St. John DeMatha High School Mock Trial team which came in 3rd in the State this past year. - I was a two sport athlete in college and high school. - I enjoy MMA training and have spent a few years learning various techniques but started as a Boxer. Feel free to ask for more information!
26, Pasadena, MDHere follows a list of certain quirks (or lack thereof) of character it may be important to know about me: Likes: -History; particularly the vast period of European history stretching from 752 BC to AD 1918 -Books; I will read almost anything that appears worthwhile. Top 5 authors in descending order: Tolkien, Belloc, Waugh, Chesterton, and Lewis -Oxford commas (see above) -Sacrament of Reconciliation. It keeps me afloat. If only all screw-ups could be unburdened so wonderfully and finally -Beautiful, theologically acceptable hymns. Crown Him with Many Crowns, Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence, O Sacred Head Surrounded are in the top ranks -Sports with my family (because being called "butterfingers" hurts so much less coming from a little brother or cousin) -Vibrant conversation on topics ranging from the political merits of a monarchy to the artistic merits of Phineas and Ferb ("I will never apologize for liking either!" he shouted to the already-vanished audience) -Folk music, particularly from the British Isles. Favorite song flip-flops between The Foggy Dew and The Wind that Shakes the Barley. -Categorization and bullet points Dislikes: -Presidential candidates. Why can't we just elect Supreme Court Justices? If the Spartans of all people got to pick their oligarchs, I don't see why we can't -Non-familial sports (Fingers of butter, speed of a sloth, grace of a dolphin in the desert. I make it a point to demand I be picked last. Still: "Anything worth doing is worth doing badly"-Chesterton) -My own absurd posturing of dignity. I was recently at a wedding where I actually danced (very badly) because my little siblings shamed me into it. I had more fun than I could have imagined and was forced to reflect on all the times I made myself utterly ridiculous by being a self-dignified wallflower Things Indifferent: -My job. Being a service rep at a credit union isn't a den of misery, but there's a definite lack of fulfillment -Cars. As wheeled methods of transportation they fulfill their purpose magnificently. As topics of conversation or admiration I find them incredibly boring. -Guns. I am all in favor of the underlying anti-Cromwellian historical context of the Second Amendment. But swords are cooler, and halberds are coolest.

23, Keymar, MDI am currently serving in the Marines and looking forward to getting out. I'm considering a career in law enforcement. I spend my free time outside and enjoy spending time with my family. I like country music, hunting, shooting guns, and basically all other stereotypical, right-wing, conservative things.
28, Laurel, MDHello. I am a 28 year-old gentleman, Data Scientis, and Sir Knight of Columbus living in Laurel, MD. I am looking for the right young lady to love and spend the rest of his life with. To be honest, I don't have much experience with dating. I never days anyone until I reached college. I've only ever been in relationships with four people, only two of them lasted longer than a month and all four ended due to circumstances beyond our control. Now I've graduated from college (and grad school), have a full-time job, and just bought my own condo, but I'm still missing something. More specifically, I'm missing someONE. Someone to stand with, honor, help, adore, and love just as she does me.
24, Emmitsburg, MDHello, I'm a graduate student, studying education. I plan to be a high school English teacher. I got my bachelors in Classics from Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. I just moved to Maryland from Chicago. I play guitar and enjoy running. I'm a big fan of Folk music. There are lots of vineyards around me. Lets go for a drink!
26, Germantown, MDOne thing I am very passionate about is getting to know people on a personal level. I love to ask a question and then sit back and just listen and absorb what a girl is saying to me. I believe we all want someone who wants to listen to us and I genuinely enjoy being that person for people. In my free time I like to hit the gym, watch some Netflix, maybe grab some sushi and just hang out with good people. I have a phenomenal support system that is my family, whom I am very close with and also consider my grandparents to be two of my best friends. We are extremely close and I thank God all the time that I have been blessed with parents and grandparents as good and supportive as them. They have made it so I never have to hesitate if I need someone to talk to or fall back on in tough times, and I like to think that I have been there for them as well. I do look forward to meeting someone who can share in the same joys and interests as me. I am a massive fan of the show Friends, and if you are too, it will make sense that I'm looking for my lobster.
