I took the plunge and am now a full fledged member of Catholic Match, with email capabilities and all! I started an account on another date site but, although there are more people on that one, I think I have a better chance of finding what I am looking for on this site. Quality over quantity, I guess. Anyways, here's a little bit about me: I find that board games are the perfect solution for when I am bored. Its getting all of my friends together to play that makes me want to flip over the table. I am a thespian of sorts and, by the nature of theater, I fall into the type of "people who need people." However, I am by no means a fan of the drama in the drama department. All of the virtues I admire, I consider Prudence to be the most prudent choice. Although lightheartedness also weighs heavily in my opinion. I find villains to be much more interesting than heroes. They get to have all of the fun! I prefer to save rather than to splurge. If I was the kid with the marshmallow I could definitely hold out for that second marshmallow. But that's my two cents. Conservative in thought and in temperament, I tend to be firmly anchored while the sea rages around me. My convictions are roots that run deep. I like my humor like I like my wine: dry. Family is predetermined but friends you can choose. One is the crazy you love and are stuck with, the other is the crazy you love and you stick with. Finally, love is indeed a battlefield. And it is worth fighting for.

Hi my name is Steve and I'm a straight forward down to earth kind of guy. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I hate playing games. I speak what is on my mind and my heart. Whether it is snowboarding in the winter, hiking in the fall, biking in the spring, or relaxing at the beach in summer I love the outdoors. I go to the gym regularly and am on a bowling league. I try to stay active but nothing beats cuddling up on the couch with the one you love and watching a good movie. Family is very important to me and I spend as much time with them as possible.

I will be up front that I struggle with mental illness, so I am shy and lack self-confidence in daring to login to a dating website. But I have a lot to offer and I don't want to be like the person whom Jesus gave a talent to make a profit off of and he was so frightened that he buried it in the ground until the Master came back. I am passionate about music, writing, art, history, and other things. Recently had some crises within my family which has brought us closer to gether I think. I am on this website to help discern my vocation and state of life to be in tune with whatever glorifies God the most. I have had an account before and benefited greatly from the encouragement and support of the members, especialy on forums. If anything I hope to be an encouragement to those who may struggle with some form of mental illness or other. My brother and I are starting to get ideas for creative activities such as writing stories and music, as my brother is a very good guitar player and I can write lyrics and sing. Music, art, poetry, literature are all very important to me as well as the sciences, although I am not very good at science, but want to promote the work of those who invent and apply discoveries and technologies that uphold the dignity and improve the quality of life. People have told me I would be a good teacher or writer. Will have to see about that. College has been slow going for me but I like studying and working with people, even with my difficulties.

If I had to put it concisely I'd say I'm a nice guy with old-fashioned values, but I still live in the modern world and like to go out and have a good time. I like to sing along to the radio while driving (if you've ever been stuck at a red light and saw some guy in a black suv looking like he's trying to record an album behind the wheel, maybe you've seen me!). I also keep a book handy for when I have some quiet time (I broke my Kindle, don't apply any pressure to the screen, they crack so easy!). I drink iced coffee all year round. The cashier at the Dunkin's near my house said I'm always smiling. It might be because I'm generally in a pretty good mood, or maybe just because I'm about to get my caffeine fix. Probably both.

I am a writer and an urbanist. I write newspaper articles, essays and poetry. I love Chesterton, Tolkein, Keats, Betjeman, Eliot, et al. I also love cities and can frequently be found exploring Boston on foot. I also enjoy listening to classical music and classic rock. I'm a bit of a balletomane, as well, -- I like watching ballets, I volunteer at Boston Ballet and I've even taken some ballet classes for exercise.

Hello! I'm a comedian in nursing school! That pretty much sums up my life right now. I graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013. While I was there, I was reverted hard by a couple of egghead jesuits and a guy named Peter Kreeft. Now I'm headed to back to school to learn how to be the best male nurse ever and finally knock Patch Adams off his medical-comedy throne! Im a comedian and I love performing stand up. I think laughter is one of the most powerful gifts we've been given. I love my mother, she's the best. We laugh hard together all the time. I love Dad too. He's Irish, so he got my brother and I citizenship. I thinks it's very important to have a healthy understanding of what it means to suffer and know how to properly experience joy. Im the only catholic in my group of friends, so I'm very outnumbered, but in the best way. I love my family and friends with all of my heart.

Just moved to the Boston area to start grad school at BU, and am looking to meet new people! I am studying to be a mechanical engineer. I am very curious about the natural world and like to think about and discuss big things: religion, science, cosmology, energy, history, math, and technology to name a few.

The Catholic faith is very important to me. I seek God's direction in everything I do so that I'm living my life according to his will. It is through seeking and growing closer to him that I'll find the woman of my dreams. I like keeping introductions short and sweet, so here's my attempt at it. As a recent graduate from university, I'm currently building work experience as a Financial Analyst to pursue my MBA next year. I love traveling, playing sports and music. Soccer, badminton, table tennis and volleyball are some of my most frequently played sports. In addition, I also enjoy gaming online in my free time. My interest in music drove me to learn the piano at an early age and gave me the opportunity to play for a few gospel and social bands at church. Family life is important to me and I love spending time with them. For education reasons, we live far apart but we talk often and when we do meet, we always make the most of it. I know God is busy writing the best story for me. However, it may be time for me to go and find the queen as she could've gotten herself stuck in a tree or something while searching for me ;). God bless everyone here.

Hello world, I like long walks on the beach (seriously, walking is pretty therapeutic). I'd like to think that I'm the MacGyver of technology due to my ability to reverse engineer a multitude of gadgets and re-purpose them. When I'm not dabbling in electronics I'm working, I'm playing video games, getting lost in movies and TV shows, composing music, listening to music, working out, blogging, feeding my mother's HBO addiction by introducing her to new shows (My crowning achievement is getting her to binge watch Game of Thrones) and hunting at thrift stores and flea markets for electronic goods and retro gaming treasures.

Some of my favorite memories growing up were the adventures shared with my three younger brothers; getting lost in the great outdoors, skydiving on my brother's birthday, and training for (and completing!) our first marathon together! These days I'm passionate about inspiring undergraduate students to live life to the full through their faith, through mission trips abroad and Bible studies. I am always up for salsa dancing with friends, exploring new places, great conversations around a bonfire and soaking in the beauty of creation.
