I enjoy walking, riding my bicycle and hiking in the mountains. I also like to relax at home watching a movie or reading. Listening to music (either live at a small venue like the Iron Horse or at home) is another passion of mine. Some favorites are The Avett Brothers, Coldplay, Sara McLachlan, Lisa Hannigan and Ingrid Michaelson . I like watching movies, cooking a meal together, conversation and candlelight at dinner, walking hand in hand, and hugs. I get in some kind of exercise most days of the week. I try to eat healthy but also like splurging now and then. Practicing yoga empties my mind of clutter.Other interests include snow shoeing, skiing, volleyball, Holistic Health, star gazing, dining out, theater, Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow and art. My personality: I'm laid back / easy going, sometimes quiet, kind and caring. I have good morals and values. I can also be described as loyal, honest, sensitive, thoughtful and affectionate I am happy with my life but l know that life can be sooo much more fulfilling when you have someone special to share it with. I dont have any children and have never been married. Ive had a few very nice long term relationships but ultimately we realized that we were not meant to spend the rest of our lives together. I can say honestly that I am not or never have been afraid of commitment . I just feel as though I I have been unlucky in finding a life partner. But I also feel I was smart enough not to enter into a marriage that was not right for either one of us. I have alway hoped (and still do) that I will find my true forever match one day.

I am a young at heart person with a positive personality. I am not wealthy in the material sense but consider myself rich in the things that really matter such as family and friends. I am easygoing and get along with all types of people. My sense of humor and positive personality are the things which I am most known for. My faith is important to me. I am a Lector, Usher and occasional Alter Server at my Church. While being very far from perfect I do try to be a little bit of a better person every day. I try to do at least one act of kindness every day for family, friends or just someone I meet. I consider myself an "old fashioned gentleman" and always try to treat all people with respect and kindness.

Before I start writing about myself, I would first like to thank you for reviewing my profile. I find it very difficult to write, or talk, about myself, so, needless to say, this is very painstaking. Nevertheless, here goes!! First and foremost, I have accepted Our Lord, Jesus Christ, as my personal Lord and Savior. And I have placed Him first in my life. I am very conscientious and compassionate, kind and gentle, peaceful and joyful, very loving, very energetic and sensitive to the needs of all people. I try to put on all the fruits of the spirit. Some days are better than others. I am very funny and witty, and I love life. I love all sports especially hockey and golf, participating or just watching. I love live shows, both theater and music. I am comfortable in a big city setting or in a small country environment. I am content in myself and in the company of most anyone.

I quote the show the Office, regularly. Would I rather be feared or loved? Both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me. I prefer spontaneity to order. I did not take notes for Junior or Senior year of college and I like to think that I did well still. I enjoy the business world but I also have a creative side. I like to make stop motion movies with my desk toys on Snapchat. I play the piano and sing a little in my spare time. I like Matt Maher and other pop Catholic music but I also like mainstream pagan music. I love learning new things especially history, theology and politics. I listen to talk radio most of the day at work. It's mostly for entertainment- I'm not one to start a political argument- but I do like to think and talk about deep things when appropriate. I started college as a business major and somehow ended up as a Philosophy and Latin major. I'm glad I did, even though I now work in banking. One of the best experiences I've had was visiting Poland for 3 weeks to study John Paul II's encyclicals.

I enjoy playing guitar and writing on my free time-- I have a little portastudio to record guitar tracks and vocal tracks. I also enjoy collecting hats, my favorite hat being the fedora. I am also active in martial arts and believe that it is everyone's right to defend themselves when necessary. I have been training for many years and have made good friends, and I believe it complements my faith by helping those who are weaker and are bullied by others. No one should have to go through that.

My Catholic faith together with my family keeps me grounded and moving forward. I have three grown children and twin grandsons and with a grateful heart continue to be involved in their lives. After 36 years of marriage, I now live on my own. Learning has always been key to me, particularly in my spiritual, mental and emotional life. I am realistic about my life now and in the future. I know the true difference between my needs and my wants. I want to meet a strong, independent woman, who is also romantic and tender. I first need a woman who can be my friend in every way and if it is meant to be will grow into a relationship with a real sense of God at the center. I have always believed we are not wired the same. Even our differences should complement us and bring us closer together with all we share in common. Finally, I have just enough OCD to be neat and clean.

I am trying to find someone who I can be very comfortable with, that I can laugh and joke with.. And most importantly serve God with. I am a Virgin and I'm trying to save myself for the right person. I have faith in God that he will bring me the right person. Someone that is easy going and is kind and doesn't get offended/angry easily. I am passionate for my walk with Jesus and I really want someone to share that with. I love football, hiking, talking(a lot) watching tv or movies. I enjoy hockey as well and love sports in general. I like to pray everyday and throughout the day. I am a dog lover that likes to take their dogs to the park and for walks etc. I love New England. It's my home and where I was born and raised, I love the seasons and wouldn't want it any other way. Long story short... Would very much like a partner that wouldn't mind a great guy who is very (loyal/faithful) I have not or ever will cheat on my girl or every do anything to hurt them and I'm hoping they will be the same way for me.. Any other things you'd like to know about me. Contact me and get to know me ;)

I love family and friends and spending time especially outside with my family. I love good conversation and talking about ideals and anything that allows me to think. I love music and literature (pretty broad tastes). I like movies and cooking and going to the gym a few times a week. I'm a very warm caring person and very affectionate. My faith is what gives me purpose and drive and my three kids make me want to be the best dad I can. I work in a correctional facility so I'm very thick skinned and very low maintenance. I'm really good at talking to people and helping them out never judging (life's too short). I'm a big guy with a huge heart (I have to keep myself in good shape for the job and for life). I don't dislike sports they are just not my cup of tea. I can't relocate because of work (state job). My best or most endearing trait is my sense of humor you could not work well in my environment without one so I do laugh a lot hope you do too!
