  • John, 46 from Douglas, MA

HI. I'm a divorced dad of 4 lovely kids. 3 girls and 1 boy. I would describe myself as a shy person at first, and then a real goofy guy once I get to know you. I'm as clumsy as a person can be, things seem to just " break " when I'm around, nothing serious, but if I walk by a dish that's expensive, look out. I love being a dad and spend as much time with my kids as possible. But it gets lonely when there not around. I'm a very loving and affectionate kind of guy. I like to be spontaneous as long as it is planned, with 4 kids it's hard to just up and go somewhere. I know that I have plenty of love to give someone. My faith is very important to me, I love going to church, teaching ccd and helping out the parish.

  • Robert, 56 from Leominster, MA
    56, Leominster, MA
I recently sold my house that was in my family for 53-1/2 years, and moved to the next town over. I'm ready to start this new chapter in my life with that someone special. As for the rest of me, I have a full time job with a local fulfillment center, as well as a part time bookkeeping job with a local eye doctor, and am working on 3 exciting volunteer/internship ventures - interning for both a local non-profit and food magazine/TV show; and assisting my former boss in a cause she is passionate about. In all instances, I'm posting updates and announcements to their respective websites and social media pages; and will eventually manage part or all of their databases, I have completed my Master's degree and took care of my Mom until her passing in March, 2012. I have become more active in my new parish, as I sing in the choir there, and was just promoted to be one of the Cantors, I am also a charter member of my parish Council of the Knights of Columbus. I sang in my 2 other churches before they closed.
  • John, 56 from Milford, MA
    56, Milford, MA
I enjoy being active and staying in shape. I enjoy the beaches and especially the mountains. Hiking, skiing, and cycling are some of my favorite activites. I enjoy all kinds of music, fine dining with someone special, a deep red wine, a good book, a good conversation and good humor. I like to take care of myself physically and spiritually. I love being a dad to my son and don't mind meeting someone with children at all. My faith is important to and I am active in my parish. It would be wonderful to share that with someone special.
  • Anthony, 26 from Rutland, MA
    26, Rutland, MA
Hi! I'm Anthony and I'm looking for my best friend to spend the rest of my life with. While that sounds cheesy, it's true! Since it's clear that I'm Catholic (otherwise I wouldn't be on here...) I figured I might as well give some insight into my hobbies, pastimes and life in general. I'm currently working as a Mechanical Engineer in central MA. I love to work on cars and have a passion older vehicles, mostly from the 40's and 50's. I typically have music playing at most any time I can, and yes, it's usually 50's music or Rock n' Roll. (But I will listen to most anything) I've have raced in a local sports car division for a short time, and now tend to work on my other vehicles as often as I can. While I may be coined as the typical "car guy," there's a lot more to me than that, despite what may seem to be on the surface. I am a bit of a hope-FUL romantic. I truly believe and pray that the person I get to spend the rest of my life with, and share a love for life and God with, is out there waiting. Although I do work a lot, I make time for my family and friends. I am majored in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in bio-mechanical, since I hoped to go into making prosthetics. While this never panned out, I still have a passion for taking care of people. My faith has only gotten stronger as the years passed. When my grandfather passed away from cancer just before Christmas several years ago, my faith was what got me through that tough time, as well as helps me to continue today. And call me old fashioned, but I still believe in opening car doors for others, say 'please' and 'thank you', being genuine, respectful, and a devoted Catholic. If you've read this far and still like what you see, please send an emotigram or chat with me, so I know you are interested :)
  • Bob, 59 from Fitchburg, MA
    59, Fitchburg, MA
OK ladies, I read a lot of profiles that say they are looking for a "real" man. I'm about as real as real gets. By no stretch of the imagination am I perfect.....actually I'm far from perfect. Sometimes I come across a bit on the gruff side. That's just part of my personality. In reality I'm very caring and compassionate. And by all means a typical Taurus. In addition to being stubborn as hell like a typical Taurus, I love deep, am very loyal and protect mine be that my family, those who are important to me and the woman I'm involved with. I live with what I've got which isn't a whole lot. Sure I have this age we all do. I don't want or need anymore drama in my life....God knows I've got enough of my own. I also deal with clinical depression. Anyone who deals with depression knows what it's like. I keep mine in check with medication day in and day out for the rest of my life. I really don't have sh*t to offer any woman except myself. What I bring to the table there is a great sense of humor, caring, compassion, passion and a love that just won't quit. Now the way I look at things is either you like me or you don't. No skin off my nose. If you like what you've read so far, then feel free to drop me a note. If indeed you decide to pass me by, oh're not the first woman to choose to do so and probably won't be the last. How's this for being real?

As an architecture and art lover I love to visit places that are memorable and can lead me to build on the same experience for the next person. Usually I do this with a painting or even simply a verbal account of whatever moves me. I am also an avid reader. Lately I've been reading adventure stories like Everest and Alive. I love dogs, especially my girl, Queenie. I played college football and hockey, and still play some hockey when I can find time. I have become a runner since college. I never used to like running when I had to do it for ROTC, but now I love it. I like exercise in general. Bike riding (trails only), playing tennis, running (tracks only), walking the dog, and swimming are the best parts of life. I play golf with my brothers and my father and some alumni buddys when we get the chance. The women in my life are great too. My mother and my sister have some of the qualities I look for. My Father and Mother's relationship is built on love respect, communication and understanding.
  • John, 21 from Bolton, MA
    21, Bolton, MA
My friend recommended I try Catholic Match because it's been difficult to find someone who shares my beliefs and morals in today's world. My faith is easily the most important thing to me and I have my family to thank for giving me a passion for it. Along with my family I have a good number of friends who have helped me grow in love for the Catholic faith and in the world today it's important to have strong corner stones like that because it's all too easy to slip and fall if you aren't careful. I'm a collegiate baseball player going into my sophomore year. I took a gap year after high school to work and help my parents pay for my education. I work as a physical therapy aide and plan on working towards my doctorate in the future. In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family, friends, and playing sports. I attend daily mass whenever I can and try to go to adoration at least once a week.
