It's difficult to sum ourselves up in a few short lines and adequately capture who we are and where we are going, let's have a conversation in stead. The idea of meeting online admittedly isn't really my style. I created this out of curiosity a while ago, but recently decided to return because I believe having the same beliefs, values and standards of moral conduct is a necessary foundation for any meaningful relationship, I have found that in my field very few are Catholic and even fewer are willing to admit it. I am looking for someone who will admit it. Perhaps we can find that here?
  • John, 46 from Douglas, MA
    46, Douglas, MA
HI. I'm a divorced dad of 4 lovely kids. 3 girls and 1 boy. I would describe myself as a shy person at first, and then a real goofy guy once I get to know you. I'm as clumsy as a person can be, things seem to just " break " when I'm around, nothing serious, but if I walk by a dish that's expensive, look out. I love being a dad and spend as much time with my kids as possible. But it gets lonely when there not around. I'm a very loving and affectionate kind of guy. I like to be spontaneous as long as it is planned, with 4 kids it's hard to just up and go somewhere. I know that I have plenty of love to give someone. My faith is very important to me, I love going to church, teaching ccd and helping out the parish.
  • William, 66 from Longmeadow, MA
    66, Longmeadow, MA
I would describe myself as a simple , honest, unpretentious person. I volunteer a lot of time (Scouts, United Way Causes, etc). I have a "desk job" in a large company as a computer professional. I love the outdoors. Hiking, whitewater rafting, cycling and camping are some of my favorite outdoor activities. I just took up kayaking this summer and will try cross-country skiing this winter. I am the proverbial jack of all trades (car repair, carpentry, plumbing, computers - whatever), but, as a single parent, I also do all the cooking, cleaning , laundry, etc) - although I will admit I don't do any sewing. I have become much more health - conscious. I execise 4-5 days a week and walk everyday and watch my diet fairly closely (although I do cheat -with the food - lol - now and then). I have a dry sense of humor. I have 2 grown kids - my daughter just got her Masters at University of Florida and lives in Fort Myers , Fl. My son still lives at home and is enrolled at a Community College.

I'm not the typical guy you're gonna meet... I'm can be a bit reserved but when I warm up... I have a good sense of humor and can have a good time. I just want someone with the same spiritual beliefs and faith to be a part of my life. I want someone who is hard-working, caring, ambitious and can appreciate my dry sense of humor. I like trying new things and adventures, sports, music, concerts. I strive to continue learning and be challenged and hope to find someone who is supportive and will grow with me in becoming a better person. My parents have been most influential in my life. Growing up as an only child, I looked to them most for spiritual guidance. Having been married for 30+ years, my parents continually remind me of the importance of commitment and finding your best friend. In any relationship, I believe finding your best friend is most important.

  • James, 25 from Stoneham, MA
    25, Stoneham, MA
My family and my faith are the most important things in my life. My faith guides my daily life. And my family has had a big influence on who I am. Growing up, my parents instilled strong values in me, especially good manners and to think of others before myself. I like to laugh and make other laugh as well. I'm also a great listener, because sometimes that's more important that being heard. Most of the time I'm a fairly easy going person, but am also focused and self motivated when need be, especially with work and other responsibilities. I recently graduated with my master's degree and I'm currently an accountant at a large CPA firm in Boston. I'm a big Celtics and Red Sox fan. I love going to games each season and watching them on TV when I get the chance. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends in my spare time or relaxing and watching a movie or catching up on some of my favorite shows.
  • Bert, 55 from Woburn, MA
    55, Woburn, MA
For relaxation I like to go on long walks and occasional easy to moderate hiking in the mountains. I also like the beach and coastal environment. I also try to ski a couple of times a winter in New England. I look forward to family gatherings that celebrate holidays and special occasions with my brothers and sister in-laws, nieces and nephews. My parents are no longer living but with the Lord. I am active in parish life and have volunteered as an RCIA leader and the Sock Exchange ministry for the homeless.

  • Philip, 27 from Cambridge, MA
    27, Cambridge, MA
Hi! I'm Philip. I'm hardworking and dedicated, but also love adventure! I am an astronomer -- currently finishing grad school. I love discovering new things about our universe, and and enjoy my opportunities to teach. I also see astronomy as a way to learn about, appreciate, and find awe in God's creation. In my free time I like to travel and spend time in nature. I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, and especially being at the ocean, having grown up in Hawaii. My faith is very important to me. I am thankful to God for the many great opportunities I've been blessed with and His help to get through life's struggles and challenges. I am looking to be in a committed relationship with someone to share life's experiences and grow in faith and love.
  • Ryan, 27 from Quincy, MA
    27, Quincy, MA
Hi! I enjoy staying fit by running, ice hockey, golf, and other sports. I'm an early bird that likes to get up at the crack of dawn to relieve stress and start the day fresh. I like competing and like being around people who encourage me to improve in my life. For example, I joined a Toastmasters club in my company and found the benefits so beneficial that I became an advocate for it by founding a couple more clubs in different buildings. Family and faith influence my well-being and keep a positive outlook of life no matter how bad it might get. Being outside and away from technology are my ideal vacations. I enjoy skiing over the winters and try to read a good book when I have free time. Education is also important; I'm currently pursuing an MBA in the city at nights. I believe chivalry, respect, and honesty are important for any relationship.
