Friends describe me as easygoing, mellow, cautious, casual, industrious, candid, creative, sensible, stable, sensitive, conservative and kind. I'm somewhat soft-spoken and reserved at times, but a good listener. My sense of humor is sometimes subtle sometimes dry and quick-witted. I try to find humor in the situations I encounter and admire others who can do the same. I find that by doing this it helps me to have a positive attitude about life which has helped me overcome cancer and other adversities in life. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering and work as a communications engineer. I live in Beverly Ma. in the family home where I was raised and now own. My favorite hobbies are those which use my hands and engineering background, like car repair, electronics, computer programming, metalworking, home repairs, bread-making, reading and investing in the stock market. ITo keep in shape I really enjoy bicycling, and hiking. So that's me, just a honest, open, down to earth, sincere type of guy.

NOT CURRENTLY SEEKING AGAIN...I MET SOMEONE THAT I FEEL DESERVES MY UNDIVIDED ATTENTION AND AFFECTION . Please pray for me ..this could be it . I am staying active in here becaue of lots of special friends and, you know who you are, whom I have made both times I have been active in here. Besides I paid for it there...LOL..Anyway..will post from time to time., keep interested people updated...and pray for the very best outcome...God Bless all of you here..and I hope Happiness finds you with someone you truly love. Down to Earth good sense of humor, honest, caring, ..have the hair..but..somehow the middle is missing. Maybe too honest, love sports esp baseball and football, huge Red Sox, and Pats fan. Love hockey, golf., and skiing. I enjoy nights out for dinner, movies, comedy shows, as well as showing off my two left feet while attempting to do something called dancing. I like all music and have recently become attached to the 'new' country western style of music..which is more of a classic rock style of music with a theme rather than the old fashioned country where you can lose your wife, dog, and job in the first verse. I am a lector and eucharistic minister in my church, and have been active in the same parish my whole life. I took care of both my parents during their illness. Losing my dad years ago, and my mom four years ago just after Christmas. There is nothing like the feeling of knowing you are helping someone you love keep their dignity while they are going through hell on earth.

I emigrated to Boston in 1955 at age ten. Lived in East Boston, and briefly in Quincy and now in Stoughton, MA. I've been a widower since 1986 and am currently retired. Until 2007 I was employed as a cost analyst. I have two children, a son, 37, who is a brother in a Chicago order, and a girl, 33, who is married. I am a compassionate conservative and am interested in state and national politics. I enjoy good humor, dancing, walking by the ocean (yes, I really do!), and romantic comedies.

Hi,I enjoy being active. I'm an easy going, good natured person..I love the outdoors. )I try my best to stay healthy, fit and try to keep a youthful attitude in life, I tend to think outside the box.I prefer quiet and cozy places over loud and wild ones. Communication and listening to one another is important in a relationship with your best friend and partner! I would like to meet a woman who is willing to put the time in to develop a relationship; someone to be there through thick and thin. My goal is to establish a long term relationship. My interest is in meeting a woman who has similar interests especially outdoor activities. )I would rather get an email than a wink,Thanks) I'd love to hear from you. We can start with a cup of coffee(or tea) and some conversation and see where we go from there. PICTURES PLEASE!!(sorry,no pics no response)

    72, Ashburnham, MA
I feel very strongly about the importance of family values. My children and grandchildren have been the light of my life. Although my grandchildren live overseas with my daughter and her fantastic Irish husband, I manage to visit as often as possible. We Skype once or twice a week depending on their busy schedule. They're really into Irish Football [similar to Soccer] and Hurling . Music is also a great passion with them. They all play in school bands. I'm an easy outgoing person who really enjoys communicating with people. Compassion is another important part of my makeup . I love long walks on a scenic wooded trail or a sandy beach along the ocean. Even exploring interesting cities can be a plus. How about taking a break in a cozy Irish Pub here or "there "with a pint of Guinness, a glass of wine, or even your favorite soft drink. I appreciate all kinds of music, Netflix movies, reading, and travel. Sometimes I get on a baking craze and experiment with different recipes for breads , cookies, etc. I occasionally play golf, hike, and ski, although my partner would be welcome to join, she may prefer to tackle other activities. It would be great to find that special woman that I can share life with. I'm very romantic and compassionate.

  • Everard, 64 from Boston, MA
    64, Boston, MA
I'd rather gaze at the stars in the heavens than watch teams compete. (I do like to watch the Olympic games, though.) I'm drawn to sound. The sound of music and languages from all corners of the world and the sounds of nature from gentle raindrops to birds, to wind in the trees. The sound of what you want to express. I tend to tune in to people's feelings and I think I can sense "vibes". I'm a listener and quite agreeable though not to everything. My expression emerges when I play the piano. I'm the guy that plays all the Christmas carols and songs without needing any book, able to render all the melodies and harmonize them spontaneously at will and whim. I'll not have a lot to say but I'll ask searching questions. I love people. If a pun occurs to me I might just utter it; such as when I asked my daughter if my grandson had any teeth yet and when she said yes, I then asked for a tooth pic. (I hope you're chuckling.) Well, that's a snapshot of me.
