This is the first time that I'm describing myself in the computer so I'll start with the physical part. I'm a latino guy, 5' 11" tall, 154 lbs., green eyes, brown skin, black hair. I'am romantic, passionate, outgoing, sincere, responsible, understanding, and funny. I like running cross country and road races (I run 3-4 times a week).I like to travel, reading a good christian book, watching TV (action movies) biking, tennis, and I like to play my guitar. I live alone in my own house and I rent the first floor. I'm a civil engineer and changed my carer to work as a high school math teacher for I love working with the youth. I work also as track and field head coach at a High School (winter and spring season.) I am a member of a catholic covenant community and form part of our music ministry. I play my guitar in Sunday mass in our local church.I read the bible regularly and I try to listen to our Lord through every little thing that happens around my life. I consider myself as someone of great faith who has been tested as Job was, and that my call in life is to serve God through the people he puts around me.

We are all products of our past experiences, crosses borne, and revelations. Although God and I have had our moments over the past few years, my faith in Him has not wavered and I have never delved in self deceit when I've faltered. I am a self-examining person and I take many lessons from King David, Job, and Christ Himself. I believe that my most difficult challenge to surmount has been finding a wife who understands that we are called to oneness, not sameness. I understand that she (whomever that may be) is not a knick-knack or a toy to be taken off of the shelf and played with when it only suites me, and I expect the same from her. It's 100% all in with 100% effort. This is work; very joyful and meaningful work but work nonetheless and I am looking for a woman who understands that completely. The most influential person in my life was definitely my great-grandmother. For a woman who only went to school until the eighth grade she was far more insightful, intelligent, and frugal than most. As I've gotten older, my father has been a more influential person to me as well. My passion is history! One of the great joys that I've been able to experience since I was able to live and work in the area that I grew up in three years ago is that I have become my family's historian and have been able to do some extensive genealogical work which has produced amazing results. Part of this is to locate where as many ancestors as possible are buried, which has given way to a different kind hobby for myself. I clean their headstones if needed, and as time has gone on people see what I am doing and inquire about how to do it! I'm actually considering making that a little side business perhaps in the future as there is clearly a need and a market for it. It's a little different, but when most of my leisure time is self generated it's a healthy project and it gets me outside. So, I wanted to give this one more shot before I throw in the towel completely. In my mid-30's it's not so much a question of "who's out there", it's more like "who's left"? Well I'm still here, where are you?

I love learning the truth about the Catholic Faith through Encyclicals. Especially connecting philosophy to the faith. Eventually I would like to complete the study of one of the great philosophical treatises ever written. "The Acting Person" was written by John Paul II. Not an easy read! It always amazes me how limiting main stream Catholic Doctrine is when not interpreted correctly. Pope Francis provides a good example of how Catho-Centrism can float easily from Christ's message. His inclusion philosophy for those that have adopted non Catholic life styles is a universal call for Christian teaching. i recall here a statement published in a document from the Second Vatican Council. I paraphrase (there are those who don't know Christ who will be saved) this certainly opens up the true depth of Creation by an all loving Creator. And it is basic Catholic teaching.

I am very passionate about music. Music is the way I pray and some day I hope to meet some of the great classical musicians. I did meet Eric Whitacre which was awesome. The most influential experience in my life was my U.S. military service. I enjoy watching hockey.

Hi, i was raised Roman Catholic and one day i'd like to meet someone who may mutually seek to be in an empowering relationship, through Christ. I would like to potentially expand my faith, by reaching out to our youth, for i feel that it hasn't been anymore necessary these days. I like creating artwork and music, but it seems I need to revamp my passion for it. On my free time i like to be active, play some pick-up games and get my exercise in at least 2-3 times a week. God Bless.

My biggest passion is my family i have two children that are amazing and truly a gift from God. They are both very athletic and well rounded kids. I actually have two people that have been very influential in my life. My mother is the first one, she has endured a lot of highs and lows in her life but has always been strong when faced with very difficult times. Such as the loss of an elderly child. The second is my brother he was paralyzed in a dirt bike accident. He raised two children, continues to work and take care of a house hold. He never complains. Very inspirational. In my spare time i enjoy coaching, biking and kayaking when time allows. In summary, I'm a decent man with many good qualities. Honestly I'm looking for someone who will treat me the way i will treat them. With dignity and respect.

I'm hopping to find someone to enjoy life with. My favorite things to do are fishing, traveling, following all New England sports and just hanging out at home. I'm super close to my family and feel they are one of the most important things in my life. I work full time at a supermarket and have great health insurance...

"What are you passionate about, what do you look forward to the most?" -- Starting over...despite not quite knowing how to start over. "What experiences and/or people have been the most influential in your life?" -- Parents, best friends, the life of Saints and Church Fathers, the unconditional love expressed by my beloved dog (RIP). "What do enjoy doing with your leisure time?" -- Teaching, reading, playing music (guitar and piano), cinema, writing, and not having to fill out silly questionnaires on an online dating/match site.
