I had to update this: I'm an easy going, caring, generous, kind, funny, and well-spoken guy. Some might say "a little rough around the edges but a great guy nonetheless". I'm pretty high-energy but can slow down at times. I was a long-distance runner but I had to cut down on my mileage big time the last couple of years due to a back/foot injury. I'm a jeans and tee shirt/sweater type of person but clean up pretty well when I need to. I'm very pro-life and tend to side with those less fortunate. I enjoy watching my niece and nephews grow up, being with my family and friends, running, road biking, mountain biking, playing board and card games, reading non-fiction, eating out and lounging among other things. I seldom watch TV-I'd rather enjoy good company/conversation. I'm a sinner. I swear too much. I used to party a lot but not anymore. I want to travel more. I'd like to become a better swimmer. There is so much more I'd like to do but I think it would be so much better to do those things with someone! I used to be big on material things (car, home and other stuff) and although I still like nice things I lead a much more simple life now. So if you're looking for a "climb the corporate ladder" or "go-getter" type, I'm not your dude. Peace!

I continue to be active in my local parish activities and still maintain friendships that were made during my college years. Although I am not current, I have a pilot's license and enjoy flying. Some of my leisure activities involve my children and grandchildren especially attending their sporting events. I am not yet retired but intend to spend less time on business activities in the near future.

I am returning to the Catholic faith after a long absence. I am a former US Attorney and corporate lawyer who has moved away from a lucrative practice, to be able to assist the less fortunate. I am very active athletically and enjoy the outdoors, e.g. skiing, camping, hunting, kayaking.

I am passionate about spending as much time with family and friends and look forward each fall and winter in watching my Michigan State Spartans in Basketball and Football! - I have been very fortunate in spending time with a large, yet close knit family. In my leisure time, I enjoying watching sports, reading James Paterson Books and spending as much time with my son and other members of our family (my parents, siblings, nieces and nephews).

I feel like this would be easier in person ......Maybe the best insight into what someone is about and who they are is to take a glimpse at their dreams and beliefs. I am definitely a private person (rarely go on facebook), but sometimes just got to put it out there. I dream to make the world a better place because I lived. As Gandhi says, "be the change you wish to see in the world"....some heavy stuff Gandhi. I don't write this to offer some cliche inspirational message; I write it because it is the only thing when paired with God's guiding hand that will keep me going and not to stumble too hard when faced with sole crushing experiences such as divorce. I believe God puts you thru things so you can become stronger and begin living the life you were intended to live. It's not always easy to accept at first or see what's ahead, but I guess that's why they call it faith. When in doubt keep the faith. I've had the privilege to experience the journey of going to college, getting a job in engineering and beginning a career of climbing the so called corporate ladder. After my divorce, I left my six figure job to begin pursuing my dreams. What are my dreams....... -My dream is to start-up multiple companies that bring some of my ideas to fruition. Ideas that improve human mobility.. (wheel chairs that don't constantly remind the occupant that they are disabled i.e. by not being able to go up/down stairs or always having to look up at people...and not cost $50k to produce) Ideas that improve early detection of abnormal growths..(like technology that monitors health thru background everyday scans) Ideas that simply exhibit creativity While I believe in creating self wealth and bringing innovative ideas to life, it is not the same journey when you don't have someone beside you to share it with. The dream of dreams is to have a loving and supporting partner along for the journey. Someone you can share your dreams with and be part of their dreams as well. Someone you can console, respect, and honor. Some rando stuff: I haven't ventured to far from the traditional workouts yet....but maybe in the future I took some salsa dancing lesson to try something new recently...pretty fun when you get it right. Do you conga? If Gloria Estefan can't get you moving, you may find that you have been stung by a Cone snail. Play just about any sport except golf, I am horrible at golf. So....What are your dreams?
