Where to begin! I'm 23 and a recent college graduate. I've lived in Detroit suburbia most of my life. 12 years of Catholic school here and 4 in lovely South Bend, IN. I majored in the Great Books program (read: glorified book club) at Notre Dame, studying a hodge-podge of philosophy, theology, literature, poly sci, etc. I even managed to sneak in a minor in Business Economics (so many regrets). When I wasn't drinking like a native Irishman, I like to think I was studying, discerning and praying my way through an amazing four years. Faith is important to me in that I am constantly bewildered by the world around me, and viewing it through the lens of my Catholic upbringing has almost always helped give me a sense of hope, purpose, and simple joy. It's helped me through tough times as well and shaped my identity and values. While I'm far from perfect, I always try to return to my faith after I've wandered away for a time. I was raised very conservatively, and while I still carry many of the values and views that typically arise from that sort of upbringing, I consider myself more moderate nowadays. I'm very much pro-life and anti-death penalty, and I do believe that traditional family values are progressively becoming marginalized and eroded by our culture in a negative fashion, but I'm more interested in and influenced by Catholic Social Teaching than perhaps I was earlier in my life, and I'd like to think I'm a little less close-minded with regards to LGBTQ issues than I used to be. Essentially, I've come to realize that, while there is canon and creed, there is also importance and relevance to philosophical and scientific inquiry that can and should be used to augment faith. I'm currently transitioning careers from consulting to the medical field. I've always been extremely interested in Biology from an early age, and I believe that the notion of healing intertwines beautifully with my experience in faith and education. I believe that our brightest and most enthusiastic minds in medicine should have an education rooted in ethics and culture, and that, in a nutshell, is a statement of my current passions and interest. Of course, like most people, I also enjoy things like Netflix, movies, sports (rabid ND and Detroit everything fan), travel, parties and more. Looking for someone caring, funny and interesting, and interested in cultivating a relationship. Long-term, I could see myself married with 3-5 children with the right person.

Small town lawyer by trade. Warrior/poet by imagination. I'm bookish by inclination, but I enjoy some of the more vigorous outdoorsy pursuits. Looking for a partner in such endeavors, for what good is it to behold wonders alone? No children, as yet, but building a brood is one of my fondest dreams. Someday, perhaps. I own my home, have been gainfully employed in one capacity or another since age 14, have never been successfully arrested and am disease free. I still have all of my own teeth, save for those pesky wisdom teeth. They had to go. As to my faith, I am an out of practice, yet still faithful, Catholic. It is a much a part of who I am as my eye color. Which is blue, by the way.
