43, Ann Arbor, MII see marriage as an inviolate Holy Union and am adamant about having the same type of relationship my parents have had for over 43 years. Although I embrace Catholicism now, from my teens to my early 20's I strayed far from the Faith. Coming from a devout Catholic family and having a sheltered childhood, I became keenly aware of how different I was when I left Catholic school to attend high school and was willing to trade who I was in order to be accepted. I spent so many formative years pretending to be something I was not that it took me quite some time to figure out exactly who I was. Though my ascent back does not change my past, I hope it can earn me the right to be given a chance. One exciting aspect for me is that the woman to whom I someday say, "I love you," will be the first to hear those words come from the real me...one of the few gifts I have left to give (and I just can't wait for that day to come). What else? Well, I'm definitely unique. I'm a revert to the Faith who had a Presbyterian Minister for a grandfather. I am masculine in my presence and mannerisms, but feminine in my need for verbal intimacy. It was Catholic school that inculcated my academic knowledge, but the secular world that refined my social skills and established my confidence. Most importantly, I am profoundly human with intricate thoughts, sensitive feelings, an insatiable desire for expression, and an intense intellectual curiosity. Longing for the days of ordered relationships whereby men initiate and women reciprocate, simple things such as opening the door for a woman have taken on an otherworldly romantic feel lately. I fear that on one of these occasions I'll simply drop to my knees and beg the woman to impale my heart for being unable to bear the depth of sadness and joy it is experiencing.

48, Whitmore Lake, MIHi my name is Will. I am a easy going kind of guy. I am perfectly happy hanging around the house or hanging out somewhere. I enjoy fishing and hunting. My hope is I can find a friend here and if that's where it stays that's fine but if more happens I am allin for that as well, infact that is what I am hoping for. Much more to say but I'll save that for later.
42, Ypsilanti, MII'm passionate about faith, family, creativity, and learning. I'm a writer from the Ann Arbor area, and I'm working on a memoir about my spiritual journey as a Catholic. I'm also setting up a blog about Catholic social teaching. The Church's role in the political and economic spheres is crucial to the common good, and I'd like to educate readers on what the Church has to offer while adding my own commentary as well. I'm down to earth, but I think of myself as an intellectual and academic type. I love books, documentaries, and museums. Some of my interests include European history and astronomy. I'm an avid fan of The Great Courses series of DVDs, and I've recently studied classical physics and Greek philosophy. I follow current events, especially in the political world, though I'm making progress in overcoming my dependence on cable news. I also like to have fun, whether it be a concert, a sporting event, or a night on the town. I'm a fan of the silent comedies of the 1920s, and I'm a card-carrying member of the International Buster Keaton Society (a.k.a. the "Damfinos"), whose convention I've attended. A couple years ago I took up the sport of curling -- which is harder than it looks! Family has always been an important part of my life. My parents have both passed away, but I remain close with my brother and sister, both of whom are younger. I'm godfather to two of my nieces, and I sponsored the third for her Confirmation.
39, Brighton, MIMy name is Louis but I actually go by Tony. I love life and my huge family! I grew up with 12 siblings and now have over 40 nieces and nephews. I love doing stuff with the little ones, like hiking, sledding, and going on adventures. It is great when you have little ones along for a ride as anything can become an adventure to them. I love the outdoors, going hiking, biking, and exploring new interests. I also love going to shows and doing new things. I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor and try not to take anything too seriously. I can laugh at myself. I love the Red Wings. I have recently moved back to Michigan to be closer to my family and go back to school for a career change. I am working toward a career in the medical field after working in the education industry for almost 10 years. I am excited for this new path in my life and am looking forward to what God has in store for me in the coming years.

26, Saline, MIHi! My name's Aaron. I'm a traditionalist Catholic with a huge love of history (especially ancient Roman, medieval European, and colonial American/Canadian). I love reading, cooking, and photography. I'm also an American Civil War and French & Indian War reenactor, and really enjoy "bringing history to life" for the public at events. I also enjoy Chinese food (I recently learned how to cook "Mapo tofu" and "Ants climbing up a Tree"), and feeding squirrels (seriously, try it sometime), as well as the occasional hike in the woods, preferably near mountains. I converted to Catholicism during high school, but it wasn't until I joined the Newman Center at my undergraduate university that I really tried to live my faith. A pilgrimage to Lourdes during 2011 proved to be a turning point for me, but it's a long story, so I'll leave that as a cliffhanger for later....
62, Grass Lake, MIOk, here's a newer pic. Not sure if it's less scary. LOL........... I'm new here. Looking around. Seems like I'm filling out this form every time I sign in..... Never thought I'd be getting back into the dating scene and looking for a new mate. You just never know
24, Whitmore Lake, MII'm passionate about my faith, my family, and my career. I'm currently a paramedic and really enjoy my job. In my free time I like to read, cook , play basketball, guitar, workout, be outside, and around family and friends.
28, Ann Arbor, MII'm a semi-eccentic writer, would-be artist, and lover of all things creative. I'm a film-buff, a book-lover, and an unrepentant nerd, as well as a history buff, an amateur ethicist, and self-taught theology student. I also love nature and the out-of-doors and wish I had more time and opportunity to spend in them. I work out regularly, practice martial arts, and am something of a gun-nut. Basically, I'm interested in almost everything; I have an insatiable thirst for knowledge, and beauty of all kind inspires me. Personality wise, I'm very introverted and typically quiet and reserved. I have not the talent which some people possess of conversing easily with those I have never seen before. I cannot catch their tone of conversation, or appear interested in their concerns, as I often see done. That said, I always try to be polite and I think I'm a very kind person, I just don't always know how to express it. Though I'm usually slow to start conversations, I can carry them on pretty well once they get going, especially if I'm interested in the subject and / or the other person. Be warned, though: I've got a dry, rather dark sense of humor that involves a lot of sarcasm, and I use it all the time. I have some rather, shall we say, unusual views on certain issues, but don't worry; I'm an orthodox and faithful Catholic. My faith is the bedrock of my life. It definitely skewers towards the traditional end of the spectrum, and In fact, I'm a bit of a throwback in a lot of ways: I'm very much a traditionalist and I regard many modern ideas with grave skepticism at best. I believe in independence and self-reliance, and I'm a romantic; not a feminist. In short, I'm an unusual proposition and probably not to everyone's tastes. I much prefer to make the first move, but if I do contact you, it means I think you might be something unusual as well.
43, Ann Arbor, MII really love working with handicapped children, and people with disabilities-and horses. I also enjoy custodial work-mostly because it is easy. I enjoy singing-sometimes I just need more of a reason to. I have probably been most influenced in life by my mother- In my leisure time I enjoy going to Church, riding horses, fishing, collecting medieval coins, and reading.
27, Ann Arbor, MII am passionate about creating stories and hope to become either a director or an author (or both!) someday. I love mythology and epic music. Favorite directors include Steven Spielberg, Christopher Nolan and Roland Emmerich. Favorite composers include John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Thomas Bergersen and Howard Shore. I enjoy mythology and science fiction. Favorite movies include Star Wars (series), Lord of the Rings (series), The Matrix (series), The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Memento, Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down and many more! Favorite books include Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Way of Divine Love, My Other Self, The Brothers Karamazov, Crime and Punishment. Hobbies include playing Themed card games. My goal in life is to spread Christianity and all of it's fruits through stories I create. I also try to see the good in secular films that convey truth about humanity and tell people how any truth is relatable to Christianity.
