Just for funsies, here's a list of facts about me... I'm much better looking in real life,I would watch a two hour movie of all previews,I live in a converted convent, I've learned all of my guitar skills by playing guitar hero, I really really really want to surf on top of a van like teen wolf, Mamba's are my favorite candy (but there is way too much unwrapping), I have been booed while singing karaoke, At some point in my life: I'd like to filibuster something, My name is written on the inside of a baldacchino, Among my favorite words and phrases are: hullabaloo, hankering, and heavens to mergatroid; I was once a member of a whistle/snap band, My office was once plastered floor to ceiling with David Hasselhoff pics, I used to think i was scrupulous but it turns out I was just sinning a lot, and two of these are lies:) I've run out of time. Enjoy:)

Hola! How are you? About me, hmm well I have my Masters but like most people I don't work in the field I went to school for. I do like to read and educate myself all the time. I'm a pretty nerdy geeky guy. I have my own house and live pretty close to my family. My family is really important to me. I have a five year old daughter who I would say is the cutest and smartest girl in the world!

My career was centered on developing the applications for satellite images. I had the great opportunity to work with some of NASA's earliest and most remarkable images. Much of my work involved teaching, for which I have developed a great liking. I retired about four years ago. After many years of not practicing my Catholicism, I now place a large importance on my religion. I enjoy working with youth. For years, I was involved in the Boy Scout program. I currently teach fifth grade faith formation in my parish. I have mentored high school students as part of a leadership training course. My interests are quite diverse. I have always been active in the outdoors. In the past, I have enjoyed jogging, mountain biking, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, etc. More recently, I include other more tame activities such as walking a nature trail or reading a book under a tree. Now, instead of playing baseball and football, I enjoy watching and attending such games. I enjoy yard maintenance around the house and fix-up projects in the house. I enjoy meeting and socializing with people, whether it be gathering at somebody's house or going out on the town. My favorite TV includes sports, news shows, and movies. I am equally comfortable watching a movie at home or at a theater. The custom of dinner and a movie still works for me. However, fixing a special dinner at home is fun too. I had the great privilege of extensive world-wide traveling during my career. I still enjoy traveling, even if it is just driving somewhere. Also enjoy going to concerts, art displays, picnics, etc.

I am passionate about life, I thank the Lord every morning for bringing me another new day. I was away from the church for a short time earlier this year but I'm back now, stronger than ever and feeling the power of the Holy Spirit. I've had many experiences in my 60 years, mostly good, including the birth of my three wonderful children who are now all exceptional adults. I thank God for them every day and I believe they have been the most influential people in my life. In my leisure time I enjoy a number of things, reading, working out 3x/week, traveling, going for walks, movies are good too but not during the warm summer months, that's when I prefer to be outside. I also have a small garden that I like to work on in my spare time. I'll try to add more photos soon.

When I think of my passion, I think of my daughter, my Mom and family and the soft spot in my heart for animals. My family has always been there for me in good times and bad, I still go to them when I need a boost in life.

Loyal, kind, dependable, easy going. Like your favorite pair of jeans. Always fit right, comfortable and will always put a smile on your face. I have old fashion values. Very family oriented, laid back and relaxed. Don't let most things stress me. I live a simple and comfortable life. Looking for that special lady to sit shotgun next to me. To share life's experiences. Tackle obstacles and enjoy moments with. Who will complement me as I her. To build a foundation to stand the test of time. To raise a family and do it all with God in mind. If you would like to know more, please ask.
  • William, 29 from Rochester Hills, MI
    29, Rochester Hills, MI
I am currently working full-time and going to law school full-time. (Law school is the worst by the way, don't go, get your PhD in something you love.) I am not really sure I have time to date, but every now and then I see a young couple, clearly in love, perhaps pushing a stroller and I turn to my reflection in the window and say "why no for me?" in ASL to the ape-man staring back at me. I love dogs, friends, and family, and feel those distinctions are arbitrary. I take life seriously (I swear) but you would not know it from the way I like to constantly joke around. As I bumble through life I learn more and more what is important to me in my potential significant other. I want to meet someone with firmly-held moral beliefs, a love of laughter, and a desire to improve themselves. I don't pretend to be a paragon of virtue, but I do my best to exhibit these qualities. I don't find a lot of time for it these days, but I enjoy drawing, painting, and writing fiction. I have never been a big sports fan. At heart, I am really a giant nerd, and by that I mean I think history is endlessly fascinating. I enjoy long phone conversations with friends, sleeping in on the weekends, and laughing at myself when I do something stupid. -----------------------------------SPOILERS--------------------------- I have five best friends I see or talk to one weekend a month. We have all been good friends for a long time (my most recent friendship is over a decade old, others over two decades.) That being said, I've never really considered "meeting new people" exciting.
