I enjoy the outdoors: walking, hiking, bike riding or any activity out-of-doors in warm weather. I'm a boy at heart with love for adventure and spontaneity. Work full-time, own my home, well myself and my partner the mortgage company (ha ha). I enjoy dining out, going to the movies, plays, and concerts. I can carry on with a good conversation in most subjects and am a very good listener. I'm more of an action person then a conversationalist but do appreciate the value of good communication.

Thank you for viewing my profile. A little about me. I am currently attending The University of Michigan, in their Second Career Nursing Program. I hope to graduate in December 2015 with a BSN. I do not work at this time because I am a full time student. I hope to work full time in nursing for a year or two when I graduate but intend on going back to school to further my education and get a masters degree. Kind of still kicking around exactly what I want to do, but it will either be a nurse practitioner in general family practice area, pediatrics/midwifery, or as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist. I am even kicking around the idea of taking the MCAT and seeing if medicine might be an option. However, that being said there is much more to figure out, so I am just being patient. I am very open to the idea of meeting someone and developing a meaningful relationship, however it must be said that whoever that may be will have to be understanding about the significant time commitment school demands of me. But I'm pretty confident it should not be an issue if the relationship is right. Unfortunately I am not a current member at this time, which may or may not change at some point, so I'm not sure if I can respond to messages or not. So please do not take it personally if I don't respond.

I am big on hockey both playing and watching. I enjoy playing almost any sport and including tossing around a Frisbee. I enjoy going out with friends and hanging out in groups but I prefer to hang out with just a few people. My faith is very important to me and a big part of who I am.

I love art, animals, and comic books(MARVEL). Quite the nerd. I work a lot with kids, and I really enjoy doing that even though at times they can drive me crazy and it gets pretty exhausting.

Ok so I guess I'm supposed to make it sound like I'm a worldly combination of James Bond and Don Draper right? Hmmm ok that doesn't sound so bad, and who knows, you'll just have to find out. Here's a few things about me. I am definitely down to earth, reliable, and dependable. If we make a plan I'll be there for it. But I also like to be spontaneous like; hey its nice out lets go for a walk, or go play golf, or lets go ice skating, or isn't that comedian you like in town, or let's have pizza tonight. I enjoy watching sports, shocker, but not a fanatic. And I still prefer my nephews games to pro. Friends say I'm witty, and a bit corny at times. Am I really promoting that? I always like having a good laugh. I'm am a well rounded person that likes a lot of different activities and interests. A few loves are the water, music, movies, plays, cards, games, and hanging out with friends. Who doesn't love a campfire? I've traveled a bit. Hawaii is a favorite, been a couple of times. Anyplace warm with water is great. Kind of like to find quirky things too. Even been to the real Whistle Stop Cafe. Would love to go to the Holy Land sometime. Heck I like just chilling, cuddled up watching a movie with someone special (popcorn or ice cream optional). I like to keep up and take care of stuff around my home (probably why I don't like apartments, that and not building equity). My daughter is 23 and has graduated from college. I must have done something right as shes a great young lady and Im very proud of her. I'm kind of a bit of a romantic. And would like an affectionate partner. Love to create adventures.

I am a compassionate, patient, family oriented man who has been widowed for a little over a year. Even though Ive been through a lot of challenges, I live my life fully appreciating everything God has blessed me with, especially my kids, family, and close friends. I'm responsible and practical, but I also enjoy life to the fullest and take the time to laugh at the unexpected moments. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, hosting get-together events at my house, walking, biking, kayaking, and boating. I am also a big music fan and enjoy most genres. Although I never had any musical training, I've picked up singing karaoke as a hobby over the last several years. I'm a proud Dad to my three children. My oldest daughter is a freshman in college and my other daughter and son that are juniors in high school (They are not twins). My wife and I adopted all three as infants from South America. They are the greatest blessing in my life and I have a very close relationship with them.

Marine Corps Veteran, Honorably discharged. Non-combat (thank God). College degree thanks in part to the GI bill. Electrician by trade. Looking forward to retirement. Recent private pilot (about 8 years now) working on my instrument rating - taking forever. My son is still at home finishing his college degree. Awesome young man - takes after his father. Daughter in army. Miss her a lot. Went in for 6 years. Didn't take her dad's advice and do 3 years. Divorce hit her especially hard. So sad.

I love reading, writing, music, and all things Catholic (especially my alma mater, Notre Dame!). I'm passionate about empowering others to reach their God-given potential, especially- as a survivor of chronic illness- by advocating for the marginalized and those with disabilities. I enjoy studying theology and literature, I'm a huge Lions fan (sorry in advance), a huger Grey's Anatomy fan (sorrier in advance), and love good conversation with good tea and wine more than anything else. I'm looking forward to law school and graduate studies in theology, as it's my goal to make both the justice system and the Church more equitable and inclusive. Also, I really like dogs.
