I have lived in Thief River Falls, MN most of my life. Although I like my job, I am willing to take advantage of better opportunities if they occur. I am active in the Knights of Columbus, and have met many new friends there - this is important at a time when many of my old friends have either moved away, got married, or both and I hear less from them. I enjoy hunting, fishing, bicycling, and going on short trips. My parents also live in Thief River Falls. I have a younger brother in Florida with his wife, two daughters, and a stepdaughter. I also have a younger sister and her husband who live in Thief River Falls with their two daughters.

When involved in something I'm someone you can count on to the end. A country guy trying to live a simple life; I'm hopeful and peaceful. (Long story, short) -I ended up single when I was left and divorced during a cancer fighting time, Leukemia. I was only married a few years when diagnosed; and I was in the walking dead stage. -Quite a story of trusting God. This was over 7 years ago now. The annulment processes shed some light with some unknowns, freeing me from that limbo situation, and my body had a sudden healing then too, and I'm in solid remission. Since I am still in the land of the living, it would be a blessing to find a compatible woman to continue with. Still in good humor, so expect some silliness. I will listen to you and give the benefit of the doubt. I'm creative and thinking; and may say something profound. I may say something dumb. I have locked myself out before. I still get proud shivers if I would hear the theme song from the Underdog Show:) I'm more inclined to be introverted, but step out of that solitude as I feel prompted to in various situations. So people might view me as having a complex personality. Reserved and quiet at times, or outgoing and outspoken at others. If you want to know something about me, ask. I will be attentive to you and I like getting the door. I'm someone safe to talk to. A man you can lean on and hold. Be affectionate with, and savor the good times with. I value some alone time, and will respect personal time you may want. Then appreciate the moments and prayers when back together. I like to investigate things. When I hear about new biking trails, I like to go check them out. Or, the mention of a ghost town, waterwheel, waterfall, an interesting park, scenery, antique shop, or just an old barn; I'm curious to go see. I appreciate natural beauty, and certain kinds of workmanship. I'm inventive, have interests in alternative energy and how the old timers did things.

I am here because I am interested in meeting more Catholics to talk and spend time with. If a relationship develops from that... great, but it's not my main concern. I am very active in my faith, and while I may struggle in my discernment from time to time it remains the largest part of my life. I am very active in my home parish and I'm involved in a number of ministries. I am very blessed to have been brought up in the Catholic faith, and I hope I can influence the people around me in positive ways. My hobbies outside of church are everything... seriously, everything. I am big into football and baseball, and I am an AVID Minnesota fan. I'm into a little bit of everything and it makes for a hectic lifestyle at times. I play guitar and I'm big into music. I am big into indie-rock music and love going to live concerts, I am pretty big into guns and target shooting, etc. I'm a huge nerd, so if it exists in nerd-culture... I'm probably into it. There are plenty of other things I am into, but it's way too much stuff to list here. I'm a fairly adventurous guy for the most part. I've led a pretty successful life from a young age and I'd love to share that life with someone else someday. I'm pretty easy-going so don't be afraid to ask me anything. I come off a bit reserved at first, but my old class-clown ways tend to pop up pretty quickly. I'd love to get to know more people of a common faith. It's pretty slim for young active Catholics, here, at home.

I am a laid back type of guy with a middle of the road energy level (most of the time - but I can get pretty wild at times (: ). My friends would probably consider me quiet, shy at times, loyal, and respectful. I love to laugh and enjoy making people laugh with my dry and sarcastic sense of humor. People who always smile make me smile. I grew up on a farm in a rural community, so family and friends are very important to me. Agriculture is in my blood and I am very passionate about it. So much so that I went to school for agronomy and am now a crop consultant. I landed my dream job right out of college and am very blessed in that respect. My social life is pretty ho-hum. When I'm busy working dawn 'til dusk 7 months out of the year I usually just like to relax when I have time off. I enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time outdoors. I also enjoy going out to social gatherings every once and a while, but I prefer the smaller gatherings where you know most of the people there (since I can be shy and sometimes have a hard time initiating conversation with strangers). Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy having fun, but I'm more what you might call "under control" rather than out of control. What I'm looking for in a person is someone who enjoys life. I would like someone who is a little bit more talkative than I, but also someone who is kind and compassionate. I'd like to find someone who is a bit more outgoing than myself so I would be more likely to try new things and meet new people. It would be nice to find someone who has the ability to care more about their partner than themselves. I would like someone who is beautiful from the inside out. What I can be to a partner is someone who will always be there for them through thick and thin. I am loyal and faithful, respectful, courteous, generous and thoughtful. In everything I do I give 110% (sorry about the cliche, but its true), including relationships. I hope I can find someone who can share some of the same interests I have, but I'm also looking fo

I enjoy spending time with family and my daughter. I am looking for someone to talk with and hang out with and slowly introduce to family and daughter. I enjoy music, movies going for walks either outside or if weather doesn't permit inside (mall). I like to go to the lake do home projects. I am pretty easy going like to take things in stride. Love to laugh and make people laugh. My faith is very important to me. I would love to find someone who feels the same. I would like to have a medium to large family one day and raise them in the faith that has guided me throught out my life. I have been through a lot in my life as i guess everyone else has, but it has been my faith that has guided me through it and and led it to only grow stronger. I am a work in progress, but i would be nieve to think i had no more to grow. I want a love that can be a real partnership with goal to help each other reach heaven as well as a good example for my daughter and any future kids to give the the best gift i was ever given from my parents and that is my faith.

26 years old. I have a good job, own my own house. I also am running my own farming operation on top of the full time job so I keep busy to say the least. I am in decent shape, I admit I am no Olympic athlete but I do try to take care of myself. Leisure time is spent on outdoor activities, hunting, fishing, in the winter I curl and am an active member of my local curling club and am a pretty decent player.

Let me first introduce myself. My name is Nicholas, And I'm a Catholic. I like to think I'm a good catholic, but I want to be better. I just finish school and I am looking for Gods match for me. I just resently had an eye opening moment in my life where I realized I want to move on to the next chapter of my story, and I believe that chapter has someone special in it. So a little bit about me.I am a very energetic person who loves to be outside. I'm also very patriotic and am currently an officer in the US Air Force. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. Which is why I chose St.Francis as my confirmation Saint. I'm a bit of a math nerd that loves riddles, sudoko and puzzles. I'm also a child at heart and enjoy watching cartons and playing games. Camping, swimming, running, star gazing kayaking and reading are just a few things I like to do to pass the time. I just finished college with my bacholors degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in arospace studies. Which basically means I'm a Math geek, who thinks he is good at making and fixing things. Sadly it also means I'm horrible at English which you might have already noticed, but hopefully I fixed all those nasty grammatical errors. If not let me know, if nothing else at least I got you to send me a message. One of the questions I always get asked is "why did you join the military" Answer ,when I was young I always looked up to people in uniform and believed they were super human able to do anything, now I know better. I know it's not the person In the uniform it's the team that supports them, and that team is strong. The United States military is very good at fighting, but what a lot of people overlook is the other stuff they do. They build bridges, dig wells, fight for the weak and help country's that need it. I'm proud to be a member of the worlds greatest team, a team that when push comes to shove will not fail.

I really enjoy long conversions with 2-5 people sitting outside with a beer or black/green/white/herbal tea, a bonfire or on a roof top or anywhere that is relaxing and beautiful. Since that isn't where we are right now I will just rant about a few things. "The glory of God is man alive and the glory of man is the vision of God" St. Irenaeus. I'm passionate about serving my Lord Jesus Christ in every aspect of my life. This is because I'm convinced that there is no greater way to live. I'm totally sold and in love with Catholicism. I could talk about this for hours. The top 4 influential experiences in my life: First: Growing up on a small farm in south central MN was very influential on how I understand life, work, and family. Second: Playing football was an experience that taught me about success and human nature. Third: I was a seminarian for 5 years (2009-14) to be a diocesan priest for the Archdiocese of St. Paul. I learned a ton and experienced Gods grace in many wonderful ways. This is by far the most influential experience of my life so far. I came to experience and know how amazing life can be is when it is absolutely surrendered into God's loving will. I could talk about this for hours. Fourth: The year after I left the seminary I was given the wonderful gift to live with young dynamic catholic family for a year in the very quiet town of Crookston, MN. This experience was great in many was but the highlight was how it renewed in me the belief that the Catholic faith is the sure safe guard for keeping a strong and healthy marriage. Leisure time: Prayer is number one. I spent well over an hour a day praying. Next is: reading, socializing, sports, rosary run, having a beer with friends preferably outside on the deck, playing Madden (video game) with friends, enjoying nature, watching a movie, building something.
