My friends tell me that i am a very sincere person who can be trusted. I am a people person in that i get my energy from others around me. I do like my solitude also as it gives me a chance to reflect. I enjoy a wide varity of activities - camping fishing, golf, biking, hiking, bowling, cards, dancing, theater, travel etc. I also like to have quiet evenings at home watching a good movie or sports event. I like to try new things such as parasailing which i've only done once but enjoyed thouroughly. I can get involved in deep conversation or simple chats. I enjoy finding out about people's lives and their families. My faith is very important to me because it is what i am here for and it gives me hope to think that this life is just a way of proving our love for God and our reward is everlasting life. I have four beautiful children all on their own and doing well.

If I told you now there would not be much to talk about later, if and when we were to meet. I will try and get enough info on here to satisfy the question they have asked. I am a very honest, trustworthy, and caring type of person. I will tell the truth, no beating around the bushes. Was married for 35+ yrs. That's it for now.

I recently became a widower and am looking for a friend. Not a serious relationship, but rather someone to get together for a spontaneous dinner. Or a ride in the country, or maybe get together over coffee to discuss what is going on in your life. And what I would really like is to find someone that is interested in being of service to the disadvantaged and join me in volunteering, Thank you for reading my story. There are not a lot of guarantees in this world, but one guarantee that I will make is that you will never find a better or more loyal friend. I will send a picture if you have an e-mail address. I am a retired pharmacist and in good health, living in Owatonna. I formerly worked at Sterling Drug as a pharmacist and loved every day of it.

I look forward to how God surprises me everyday, with the words of a priest at a daily Mass, with a new task at a volunteer job, with music I have not heard or have forgotten, with something different a friend says, with a thought during prayer, or with a sight I have not seen in nature. I enjoy listening to music, reading magazines and books, bicycling, using my computers, eating out with friends, going to concerts and plays, and watching movies.

In the winter I like to read the greatest science fiction book ever written. The new crop of seed cataloges. Yes I do like flowers. Daughter took over the green house bussesns there are lot of flowers avalable. Also like to fish, river fishing which is three miles away, ulterlight rod, four lb test, watch the water , listen to the birds, close to home. Addicted to wester fiction , books written befor 60s pretty safe. Buy them for 1.50 sell back for .75 cents each . Grocery bag full keeps a person go for a couple of weeks. Much easer to talk on the phone then type one fingered!
