59, Roseville, MNBello! And welcome to my world... at least what I choose to share of it on the internet ;) . I consider myself to be a casual, laid-back kind of person. I appreciate the simple things in life, as well as the beauty of nature, be it hiking in the mountains, biking along a wooded trail, or walking along the beach and listening to the tide coming in. I'm slow to anger, I don't hold grudges, and try to adhere to the principal of forgiveness seven times seventy times. Sometimes I let myself get a little too buried in my work, but I'm learning now that vacation time accrued is vacation time that needs to be used, so I'm traveling a bit more these days. Florida is a favorite destination; I have a small "Holiday" place down there near the gulf that I try to get to as often as I can. I lived most of my life in Duluth; staying close by to care for my parents in their final years was a priority for me while I still had them. Now that they're gone, I've moved down here to the Cities (actually, my employer transferred me here), and I'm learning my way around. I'm looking for somebody around my age who enjoys doing some of the same things I like to: cultural activities, music, theater, ethnic festivals, visiting historical sites, antique shops, walking around the lakes (I love being near big water), or simple conversation over dinner. I choose not to drink, but that is a self-control thing for me as opposed to a morality issue, and it's not an issue for me if you choose to have an adult beverage or two when we're out. Smoking is not a deal breaker for me, either. I recognize that I'm not a match for everybody, but I still feel I have a lot of positives to offer to someone who is willing to think a little outside of the box and is tired of the same old guys you might meet in a bar or online or wherever else they may have been looking. Well, I guess I technically am online, but I'm hardly one of the "same old guys". Actually, I resent the inference of being "old", although sometimes having that gray hair gets me an unexpected senior discount from some mistaken member of the millennial generation, but I digress. Anyway, if any of this makes sense, and you see me come up in your matches, hey drop a note and say "Bello!" ... it never hurts to make a new friend, and you just might be pleasantly surprised.
32, Big Lake, MNSo, are you suppose to be honest or just type what everyone wants to read in this section lol ? I have an amazing family who is very close to me and have allowed me the opportunity to become who I am today. I am very easy going and enjoy every thing from a campfire, under the stars, to a motorcycle ride on a relaxing summer day. I like working out and staying in shape, as well as trying to live a healthy lifestyle. I have been blessed with a great job and an awesome family and am looking for someone to share that with. I am not looking for a fling or something fun in the moment. I would like to find someone who is on the same page as me; who loves to have fun, but also understand the reality of life. Someone who is respectful, honest, caring and sweet. I am not the best at this whole typing about yourself thing, so if you are interested ask and Ill give you an honest reply. If youve read all of this I might as well leave you with a quote that relates the person who dances with you in the rain, will most likely walk with you in the storm"
30, Fridley, MNI am a dork to put it simply, why should I try to hide it? I enjoy being myself more than trying to be someone else and so I embrace my "dorkiness" and hope that the certain someone I find is comfortable with herself too (it's in no way meant to be negative, I use it for positive reinforcement)! Since I'm a dork I like to have fun and joke around and be silly but I also know when to take life seriously. Even though I can get silly I'm a bit of an introvert so it does take me a while to get comfortable enough with people and places (and that's when my dorkiness comes out). When out with my friends I'm usually the one listening to everyone else and laughing along, I tend to shine in the smaller gatherings. Movies, music, and theatre are the biggest things I am into. (Love any kind of good movie, although not scary ones, and my music ranges from soundtracks, classical, to singer/songwriter, and a few other things that get me moving.) I like too many things to have a favorite. I love going to and being a part of theatre, always a nice experience although I don't get the chance to go all that often. My faith has gone through changes since college. some not so great things happened and I began to question things. For a while I wasn't going to mass or praying, but after a while I started to come back and remember the important things I learned about my faith. I am still on the journey of growth and discovery, but I feel better of my faith than I did back in college. Right now I am trying out some suggestions from Matthew Kelly to get back to Jesus and the sacraments, he is probably one of my favorite Catholic writers/speakers right now.

Italy was also very interesting visiting the Vatican and celebrating Mass in St Peter's Square with so many Catholics was quite exhilarating. I am a student of the German, Russian and Serbo-Croatian languages. My foreign language skills have come in handy while traveling various parts of the world. 54, Champlin, MNSorry, but I am not going to show you the latest fish caught, or list all the things that I own, or boast any great accomplishments. All of these things are short term pleasures of the world that will soon fade in value, if not already. Alternatively, I do have some mysterious possibilities that may interest you for lasting happiness. What do I believe? My love is complete charity for you and all others to be accepted as a gift given. Conversely, I do not require love from you or any other person for myself to be a whole person. Yet, I do invite and accept love from all others given in their own way. This is the truth of perfect love as a gift to others without expectation of their response. I practice this love to consider myself a believer in Jesus Christ.
25, Hopkins, MNThis is actually pretty difficult. I'm a Marine Corps veteran. I joined the military because I didn't know what I wanted to pursue in college and because it had always been a dream of mine. I got out in December of 2015 and now I'm attending the University of Minnesota in the Twin Cities for a degree in global studies. When I complete my degree I'm either going to apply for Law School or try to reenter the Marine Corps as an officer. Speaking of that: I served in the Marine Corps from age 19-24 and I truly believe these to be my formative years and have made me the person I am today. It was an incredible and terrible experience. Loved it. Worst job I ever had, but I wouldn't trade my time with my brothers for anything. When I have off I like to go to the gym and de-stress. If I have a day off and the weather is beautiful I'd rather go on a bike ride or enjoy the sun than stay in.
22, St Paul, MNHi! My name is David. I am currently working as an Account for United Health Care, but I dream to own my own business and possibly start a non-profit someday. When I am not working I spend most of my time out doors and/or with friends and family. I also volenteer with my church's youth group and am part of Saint Paul's Outreach at the University of St. Thomas. I love my God and my family. I love spending time with people and enjoy making them laugh. As a Christian I think it is important to be optimistic and create joy in people's lives. I belive God has a plan for all of us, we just need to be patient and be whilling to listen. If there is anything else you wish to learn about me, please send a message:) I look forward to meeting you!
64, Anoka, MNI am most passionate about living, loving, and enjoying life, everyday. I love almost everything outdoors. Fishing, motorcycling, ATV trail riding, walking around the lakes, picnics, and much more!
25, Minneapolis, MNI love my family and spending time with them. I am employed in Minneapolis, looking to make friends and ultimately find the right woman to share my life with. I enjoy doing things outside, am open to learning new things. I keep my self mentally and physically fit by working out regularly and reading. Goal oriented, and strive to better myself at anything I do.
50, Plymouth, MNI'm here because I believe faith, family, and friends are the foundation for any relationship. I'm a good guy from a good family, and a strong network of quality friends. Never married and no kids but I still believe there is somebody out there for me. My hot spots would include Target Field in the summer for Twins games, a bike ride on the country roads or on one of the many scenic trails in the metro area. As family, once a year we'll celebrate December birthdays at Benihana. Before an event at Xcel, I'm always up for dinner at Pazzaluna. Fourth of Julys are spent at the cabin, sitting my the lake watching fireworks, and enjoying Ghirardelli s'mores near the campfire. I'm always up for pizza any place, any time. I love Christmas. I love the music, the Advent season, the lights, the cooking, Christmas cookies, and preparation. If you are looking for an icebreaker first date, I have a small route of over-the-top neighborhood holiday lights and synchronized music. Drive, talk, & watch. I love dogs. I don't have one, but I hope you do. As a family, we've always had labs or cocker spaniels. When I go for a run, I always carry treats just in case I find a new best friend. Thank you for stopping by. Good luck with your search.
