35, St. Louis, MOI'm a lifelong faithful Catholic who loves Christ and His Church. I have been blessed with good parents who brought me up in the Faith and have had a profound influence on my life. I have witnessed how God blesses families with His grace and sustains them in difficult moments. God-willing, I will one day have a family of my own, modeled after the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. I'm pretty laid back for the most part, but I have an adventurous side that is manifested when the situation presents itself. I enjoy being active, but I also appreciate the low-key moments of life. I enjoy pursuing the intellectual life: reading philosophy and theology, going to the symphony, observing works of fine art, and having intelligent and edifying conversations. But I try to avoid all pretentiousness and just be who I am, and that includes my dry and sarcastic sense of humor, playing and watching sports, going out for a few beers with friends, and dancing. Oh yes. Dancing. The most important things in my life are my faith and family. Without either one I would not be where I am today. I have learned that the power of Eucharistic adoration is tremendous, and that the Rosary truly is all that the saints have hyped it up to be. I was in the seminary for a while but now feel called to Christian marriage and family life. I've been on this site before, had some relationships that didn't work out, took some time off and now have decided to give it another go. This is me in a nutshell. If you'd like to know anything else, just ask.

24, St. Louis, MOHello, I'm Isaac~ I'm a writer, artist, and generally cheerful person. If you were to categorize me, I'm an introvert, but I'm also pretty laid back and like people quite a bit. I'm also a fairly passionate person, especially about the things I like--and I like learning about other people's passions as well. Hoping to do meaningful stuff with my life, as God wills. I like fruit smoothies, aquariums, and all sorts of art--paintings, writing, music, film, anime, musicals. Anything that's pretty or beautiful, I want to try to be able to appreciate and share. I try not to be too much of a "fine art" snob, but I really do like artsy kinds of thing. I guess overall you could say art of all forms is my greatest interest/hobby/passion. I've found very other few things that enrich my life as much as art does, and it's an incredible way to find God present in the world. I also looove soccer. It's my favorite sport to play and to watch, and I'm also fond of silly/sarcastic Twitter jokes and cute emoji faces. I think online culture is really interesting, too. I also like hanging out in quiet settings. Not much one for loud parties or bars; walking and talking is one of my favorite things ever.

29, St. Louis, MOI suppose I'm passionate about words and how they relate to the human person as a being-in-the-world. I'm infatuated with philosophy and theology but prefer to work through understanding them by encountering them through poetry and/or prose. Encountering beauty is a sure way to encounter a deeper understanding of God. I continue to wrestle with Dante's magnum opus, Thomas' philosophy of reality, Hopkins' use of language, Eliot's keen eye on modernity, Austen's exploration of virtue through manners, Waugh's piercing and satirical voice, and so on. In all this I am an amateur, both in the original meaning and in its contemporary usage. I also consider movies to be a legitimate form of exploring the human experience and prefer Francois Truffaut's revolutionizing take on cinema, Bergman's almost nihilistic/atheistic exploration of faith, Stillman's sympathy--though not uncritical--for the intelligentsia, Malick's ability to discern the nature of the world through cascading images, Anderson's whimsy, and Kurosawa's storytelling. I do not necessarily discern between high- and low-brow art, as long as it is honest and true. I am a convert. I began life as a Baptist, went to a Methodist college, a Presbyterian seminary, an Episcopal church, and now have rested at a church in St Louis that celebrates the Extraordinary Form (EF) of the Mass. While I am no fanatic for the EF I do consider it deeply moving and beautiful. I have a theory that humans need deep ritual to connect with the invisible, namely God, and too many Novus Ordo (NO) masses have determined ritual to be the antithesis to deeply felt human needs. We have exchanged the mass as sacrifice for a mass as socializing. All that being said, I am not one to say a return to the EF is what the Western Church needs. I am, however, very keen on a synthesis of the two where reverence and beauty and understanding all take hands and lead us into Heaven. I have a deep devotion to Saint Joseph as I find his silence in the Holy Scriptures to be intoxicatingly holy. This, among other reasons, is why I checked that I was discerning Holy Orders/Religious life though as a convert I cannot make such a decision for two years. Discerning marriage is also a part of my religious life right now. Please do not take all this as indicating that I am solely a serious person. Nothing could be further from the truth. Laughter is quite possibly the holiest thing God naturally gifts a human being. And I do a lot of it.
37, Webster Groves, MOHello Holy women, my name is Don; looking for long term relationship, with affection, love and family. I describe my personality as playful and logical when talkative, and in quiet I'm thinking or winding down; I love living for the present and mindful of the moments that come only once. Earn my money with computer databases, programming and research. I Live what life gives me and give back what I can, and wind down to start a new day, cause I didn't chose to be alive, it just happened, so... let's do it together, for the Love of God! My preferred music consists of the rock classics, blues n jazz, classical piano and instrumentals, and open to others with up beat tempo, such as the festive specials and concerts. I'm looking for a woman who I can vibe with on a spiritual level that is awesome. Send me your pretty touch. I'm on here, due to father pointed the site out in the weekly Church bulletin at my nephew's Confirmation Mass, and want to see if the Holy Spirit was calling me out. Amen.
54, St. Louis, MOI am a very interesting guy. I have no filter between my brain and jawbone, so, whatever is on my mind, gets blurted out. That can lead to some unusual conversations. I am in the process of getting several businesses started from home. I have been widowed for a little over a year. I have 2 teenage daughters living with me, ages 19 & 17. I cannot lie. I am not putting any limitations on anyone that I meet. If we end up being just friends, that is great. If it ends up being more than that, this is also great. If you are separated or if you are in the process of receiving an anullment, do not contact me. You are still married, and should not be on this site. Ladies, if you are unsure whether or not you are free to marry in The Church, here are the guidelines: If your previous marriage was in The Catholic Church, got a civil divorce, and did not receive an anullment from The Catholic Church, you are not free to marry in The Church, and, you cannot even date, at all. Your sacramental marriage is still valid in the eyes of God and His Church. I hope this helps. Good Luck on Your Search!
69, St. Louis, MORemembering that God is involved with our daily lives, I realize that He and other spiritual matters are always impacting life. As a result taking risks is also a part of our daily life and yet I am never sure where God will lead me. Presently, I am seeking a devout Catholic lady to share the rest of our lives together. Naturally, the relationship will be an initial friendship and hopeful proceeding to a serious relationship up to and including marriage.
