37, Springfield, MOI like to think of myself as a bright, witty guy with a big heart. I'm honest, loyal, and introspective. I haven't filled one of these out in quite a while, so I'll have to come up with something hilarious and intriguing and update it later. I have a quick wit so check back soon!
73, Saint Louis, MOGod, family, friends and a trditional value system based on treating all people right are the most importamt to me. I have four successful, grown children, five brothers and sisters, and many wonderful friends. I am very outgoing, somewhat soft spoken, very playful, very humorous, a very happy person - 100% honest, loyal and trustworthy. I am naturally positive, optimistic and confident at all times. I have learned that in America there are no limitations. Anything is possible and the way to enjoy life is to approach every day enthusiastically and optimistically and treat everyone honestly and respectfully. I enjoy sports, nature and the outdoors, restaurants, movies, art, cultural and, especially, history events. I am fascinated by history - the people and events that shaped the world we live in. I love the night life - music, dancing, the rhythym, the beat and the electric energy that comes from socializing with friends. I have made many friends who are good people in the swing dance club I belong to. Experienced dancers have told me I am the best dancer they have seen. I am very active and energetic. I dance three nights a week and lift weights regularly. My physical fitness is exceptional. However, relaxing at a get together with family, friends and a special, romantic lady is the best. Life is good. The only thing that could make it better would be to share the daily routine; enjoy the quiet, personal moments of each and every day with that special, romantic lady. I am interested in friendship first and, eventually a permanent very romantic relationship with a nice looking lady who has interests and values similar to mine. Most people think I look much better than my pictures and much younger than my age.
38, St John, MOAs the name on the top of my profile suggests my name is Eric. I grew up in a Catholic family, but didn't really start paying much attention to it until I got into college and joined the Newman group there. Someone once asked me what I want most out of life and I didn't really have an answer. After much thought, I think I do now. To be able to take my future children and grandchildren fishing whenever they want. Of course the sentiment of that statement is what's important to me, not limiting the future to only fishing. But that would be cool too. I always kind of balk about the questions about what I do in my spare time. I always wonder if they mean what I like to do, or what wind up actually doing. What I like to do is spend time outdoors, camping, fishing, hiking. I also like to do creative writing and video projects with my friends, (I work better creatively in groups). But, because of my constantly shifting work schedule, (I work at a casino) I rarely get to do any of these things. So I wind up watching science and history documentaries online for a couple of hours at night before going to bed. That about does it for me. If you want to know anything else send a message. Have a wonderful day.
39, Ballwin, MOThe oldest of seven. Young at heart. A thinker/daydreamer. I enjoy playing and watching any kind of sport, but especially baseball ...(Big StL Cardinals fan! -- If you like the Cubs, we already have issues....) I started college as a theater major, switched to English, graduated (whew!), taught high school for a while, and now work for a textbook publisher. Giving online dating a try, but still getting used to the idea. Oh, I'm true blue 7 for 7 on those faith questions. I'd prefer to date someone who is the same, as those are some real issues.....much more serious than being a Cubs fan! Love travel and outdoor stuff, but haven't had much time for them lately. During college though I was lucky to spend a semester living outside of Rome and went touring around Europe during breaks. At the end of the semester I touched JPII's hand in St. Peters square, and a few days later a priest got us into a gathering of the Sisters of Charity who were celebrating a visit from....Mother Theresa! We got to meet her just a few weeks before she died. Yeah, that was a pretty good week! Then a few years later I got to visit the Holy Land -- a powerful experience. Personal dislikes (C'mon, you know they're more fun than likes): listening to someone give driving directions; being wrong; emotigrams (sorry -- you can like them if you want); views that have no basis in reality; Conan O'Brien; Hollywood; job seeking; green salads; corporate meetings; deadlines (as much as I need them); criticism; getting up in the morning; going to bed at night; Tom Brady; the Cubs; the Yankees; the media; anchovies; runny noses; bloody noses; making tough decisions; realizing that I'm not as cool as I think I am; cold sores; paper cuts; animals being treated like people; and any disrespect shown toward my country or Christmas....
56, Saint Louis, MOHello and welcome! Friends call me Dan or Danny and describe me as sweet and gentle but manly at the same time. Once a friend of mine, you will always be a friend of mine. I am a sinner in need of God's grace every day, and I am grateful for all that He has done for me and am always discerning what He is planning for me to become. I firmly believe in keeping commitments and promises. I have owned my home for 23 years and have been employed in the banking and finance field for nearly 20 years. At this time, however, I am actively seeking the next step in my career. Prior to this, I worked in a Catholic hospital for just over 15 years. I have enjoyed teaching and lay ministry in the past. People say I have a "radio voice," and I get compliments every time I speak in public. My father is a retired aeronautical engineer, so I have inherited the highly analytical, methodical and pensive traits. My parents and grandparents lived during the Great Depression. They all taught us well how to live within our means, so I do live modestly. I became a member of Mensa in 2010. I do not want to give the impression that, since I have no college degree and like to work with automobiles as a hobby, that I am lacking in the intelligence department. Mensa is an organization for people with an IQ in the top 2%. I enjoy going to trivia nights as often as possible. Also, I do value education, so please get to know me before making a judgment. All of this said, I'm far from a stick in the mud. A photo and paragraph are never enough, so please send me a message if you would like to know more.
44, Sarcoxie, MOI am a professional driver. I have been alone all of my life and now I look for someone to share my life with. Catholic Match is the first time I've tried anything like this. Please forgive me if my profile is a little thin it is a constant work in progress. Please feel free to ask me anything you're curious about. In personality I tend to be very quiet and reserved at first. I warm up quickly though when in the presence of someone with compatible interests or whose interests I want to learn more about. I am willing to talk and learn about almost any subject. I am certainly eager to communicate with anyone who wants too even if the interest is just friendly. I am solidly conservative socially and politically as well as to the teachings of the Church. I do however keep an open mind too the views of those who have doubts or disagreements and think this can often be a fruitful discussion. I am slow to anger or take offence at anything and I tend to forgive easily. If you are viewing my profile please send me a message or respond to mine if I have sent you one. Tell me what you think. Positive or negative I am always looking for honest feedback and I would also be interested in simple friendship if romance is not an option.

24, Saint Louis, MOI'm someone who enjoys taking life a moment and a day at a time. I like to enjoy the little moments and adventures that happen in everyday life. But I am also someone who enjoys taking time and reflecting on myself and enjoying peace and quiet. I enjoying hanging out with friends and watching all St. Louis sports, especially Cardinals baseball and Blues hockey. I enjoy going to sporting events, plays and musicals at the Fox and Muny, and going to other historical and recreational places around the city.
46, Boonville, MOHi there. I don't have much faith in these match programs but what the heck. If you really want to get to know me hit me up. Im ok. Lol I'm not much on selling myself.........
29, St. Louis, MOI suppose I'm passionate about words and how they relate to the human person as a being-in-the-world. I'm infatuated with philosophy and theology but prefer to work through understanding them by encountering them through poetry and/or prose. Encountering beauty is a sure way to encounter a deeper understanding of God. I continue to wrestle with Dante's magnum opus, Thomas' philosophy of reality, Hopkins' use of language, Eliot's keen eye on modernity, Austen's exploration of virtue through manners, Waugh's piercing and satirical voice, and so on. In all this I am an amateur, both in the original meaning and in its contemporary usage. I also consider movies to be a legitimate form of exploring the human experience and prefer Francois Truffaut's revolutionizing take on cinema, Bergman's almost nihilistic/atheistic exploration of faith, Stillman's sympathy--though not uncritical--for the intelligentsia, Malick's ability to discern the nature of the world through cascading images, Anderson's whimsy, and Kurosawa's storytelling. I do not necessarily discern between high- and low-brow art, as long as it is honest and true. I am a convert. I began life as a Baptist, went to a Methodist college, a Presbyterian seminary, an Episcopal church, and now have rested at a church in St Louis that celebrates the Extraordinary Form (EF) of the Mass. While I am no fanatic for the EF I do consider it deeply moving and beautiful. I have a theory that humans need deep ritual to connect with the invisible, namely God, and too many Novus Ordo (NO) masses have determined ritual to be the antithesis to deeply felt human needs. We have exchanged the mass as sacrifice for a mass as socializing. All that being said, I am not one to say a return to the EF is what the Western Church needs. I am, however, very keen on a synthesis of the two where reverence and beauty and understanding all take hands and lead us into Heaven. I have a deep devotion to Saint Joseph as I find his silence in the Holy Scriptures to be intoxicatingly holy. This, among other reasons, is why I checked that I was discerning Holy Orders/Religious life though as a convert I cannot make such a decision for two years. Discerning marriage is also a part of my religious life right now. Please do not take all this as indicating that I am solely a serious person. Nothing could be further from the truth. Laughter is quite possibly the holiest thing God naturally gifts a human being. And I do a lot of it.
54, O'fallon, MOHi, First and foremost...judge not, lest you be judged...so if you are truly Catholic...forgiveness is paramount to any relationship. Anyway. I would thoroughly enjoy some real conversation and companionship with a talkative, witty and intelligent girl as this is a fundamental need for me. My hope is to find mutual chemistry and take it from there. Mentally, I enjoy thought provoking conversations, solving difficult problems, helping people laugh, learn, find success and happiness. Physically, I enjoy skiing, tennis, bowling, shooting pool, playing spades and hearts, traveling, and studying apostolic and apologetic theology.
