66, Belgrade, MTI left the Berkeley, CA scene in 1972 only to walk into a new age imposter of the Church. I sat next to the Tilma of Juan Diego in 1973. I prayed a form of the Mary's consecration of Russia I prayed a "new age rosary" every day most of my young adulthood. I wore a scapular, "miraculous Mary medal" , tried to live a life in service of God and in friendship with the Saints. I read Catherine of Sienna's biography and "Dialogues". I helped to produce their publications, served as an armed bodyguard to the "messenger" and her family, helped to work out logistics for preparation for their end of the world vision. I married and was divorced from a "recovering Catholic" while in the cult, and found out we were never married in compliance with the form for valid marriage in the Catholic Church. After three years of advertising sales trips in the Montana, Wyoming region I met Mother Angelica courtesy of a Sheridan, Wyoming cable network station one dark particularly lonesome winter night. Soon thereafter I heard the conversion stories from people that seemed like my family. And my family was a vague recollection of New York Irish Catholic roots I'd been separated from long ago. I watched that "coming home" program until I had to see this thing they were talking about first hand. My heart would settle for nothing less than to dive in. I left a pretty decent job for an employment debacle that lasted for two more years until it became obvious I was unemployable and therefore would have to be self employed. I have been a painting contractor through the greater part of the housing bubble in SW Montana. But I got to have the freedom to throw myself into this new adventure--being a Catholic convert in a time when in certain circles it may bring more than icy stares. RCIA in about 2000. When I realized the "dedicated" parishoners (I was just learning about cafeteria Catholics) were more liberal than the new agers I'd left behind and heard the priest blithely announce in his Sunday homily that he didn't say, nor see a need to say, the Holy Rosary, I knew my search was not through. Not to long after that I was driving around eight hours every other week to a 1962 version of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Then after a Lent of fasting I ended up at the chapel I've been attending for a few years now. Finally I've seen the prayers of forty years come to fruition. This is my 1st letter of interest to an anonymous Catholic lady. And so God bless us all.
59, Hamilton, MTI have been a member of the county planning board for over four years, and am currently the president/ chairman. I am also running for state legislator. I don't want to bore anyone with that stuff. I love to visit old ghost towns and camp out. "I know all of the best places"
31, Belgrade, MTI'm a fun loving guy looking for a lasting relationship. Im real easy going and have a wide variety of interests. I moved to Bozeman about 5 years ago and work out in the oil patch as a geologist, and have been enjoying it so far. I would like to be able to meet new people, and casually date as well, but would prefer to find someone to start spending my life with - someone who is a joy to be around, and who hopefully shares or, at least can appreciate some of the same life passions as me - someone adventurous who is as excited about life as I am! Who ever you are...I cant wait to meet you!!
33, Missoula, MTKind of an awkward place to start, but I am trying to be more open to relationships and a non-traditional way of meeting people. I am close with my family and I enjoy spending time with friends as well. Naturally, I think they are awesome and I know that you will too. I love to be active and spend time outdoors; playing sports, watching sports, and enjoying nature.
52, Whitehall, MTI was born and raised in Montana and a good part of that was on a ranch. I am very grateful for the opportunity to experience the rural/ranch life and still have a soft spot for it. There are times I dream of a small ranch in the country :) From my time on the ranch I learned how much I enjoy working with animals as well as growing things, even if it's just hay :) I also developed a love of nature. A favorite of mine is a nice day hike (or over-night camping too) up to a beautiful mountain lake! Getting out in nature has always proven to be good for my mind and body :) I have done some volunteering (not a lot) and lately feel a growing desire to partake in this more. This can be a challenge, though, as it requires me to move out of my comfort zone a bit ;) I do love sports...sometimes I think too much :) Though I don't run as much as I use to, I do enjoy a nice run. In the winter I enjoy skiing and snowmobiling. Other sports include basketball, football, a little golf, canoeing/kayaking.

28, Helena, MTHi my name is Stephan. I am a librarian and one thing I am passionate about is libraries. They come in all shapes and sizes, but all of them are excited about their users and about helping people learn more. This is not always easy as many people face barriers to information. The second thing I am passionate about is being active in church. Currently I am a member of the church choir and a cantor. Full and active participation in church, in faith, is really important to me. The activities above are two ways I serve God. In my leisure time I like to read or watch YouTube movies. Both open a window into other people's lives and other realities, or possible realities. Okay, and they are just fun. When I was younger reading was a challenge. It required extra time and help for me to become better. But that struggle helped me learn to challenge myself. Not always a very convenient task, but one that is part of our calling; to seek God.
