Hi! Thanks for stopping and looking at my profile. I grew up in Long Beach Calif. After living near the ocean for 36yrs i felt i needed a change so i moved to Denver,Co. Got a job with the Airlines and moved around ever-since. Greensboro,NC and then on up to Ohio. I enjoy most outdoor things. During the summer time i like camping/fishng. To me there is nothng better then sitting around the campfire, stargazing into the sky. Also enjoy bike riding the trails and going to classic car shows (55chevys) and antique flea markets. Wintertime i enjoy xc sking. I also enjoy the typical stuff, movies/dancing and so on.Im pretty much old fashion hopless romantic type. I like to bring little gifts to my date as well as open the car door for a lady. I retired from the Airlines in June 06. On Aug 06 I moved into my house in Bozeman, Montana. After 6 yrs of commuting between Bozeman,Mt and Denver I've retired from the Airlines and have gone back to living in Montana Full Time.

I am in good health and physical condition, I take care of myself. I have listed my body type as athletic and toned but muscular is more accurate. I get plenty of exercise working on my ranch and skiing. My passion is snow skiing. I hope to quit work soon, buy a ski in - ski out home on the Big Mountain and enjoy life. I like to ski 100 days a season. I have been very active politically and worked for Ronald Reagan and Pat Buchanan. I am issue orientated and love our Country. I respect the views of others who disagree with me and consider it to be the foundation of our Liberty that I defend their right to do so. I have the gift of being able to make people laugh and am out going and friendly. I love being with family and old friends and am greatly blessed with many of them. I also enjoy meeting new people. I love to have fun. I was divorced in March 2006. I enjoyed being married and living in a committed loving relationship. I have a strong relationship with my step-daughters and a friendship with my 'ex'. I am ready to move on and start dating. I want to take the time necessary to find that special person who will add to my life as I add to hers and get married again. A strong belief in Jesus Christ is also important to me. Like most folks I want to find my soul mate. I want someone that I can share my life with and love without reservation. I want someone who is well educated but it does not necessarily need to be from a formal academic experience. I have a strong desire to be informed and read daily and want to be able to have intelligent discussions with my mate.I am very physical and need to have that instinctual 'animal attraction' if things are to go anywhere. I do not want to appear shallow with that statement but it is true. I need a physically beautiful woman that takes care of herself. Beyond that I want someone who is honest, loyal, true and trust worthy with good morals and family values who will love me as much as I will love her.

I left the Berkeley, CA scene in 1972 only to walk into a new age imposter of the Church. I sat next to the Tilma of Juan Diego in 1973. I prayed a form of the Mary's consecration of Russia I prayed a "new age rosary" every day most of my young adulthood. I wore a scapular, "miraculous Mary medal" , tried to live a life in service of God and in friendship with the Saints. I read Catherine of Sienna's biography and "Dialogues". I helped to produce their publications, served as an armed bodyguard to the "messenger" and her family, helped to work out logistics for preparation for their end of the world vision. I married and was divorced from a "recovering Catholic" while in the cult, and found out we were never married in compliance with the form for valid marriage in the Catholic Church. After three years of advertising sales trips in the Montana, Wyoming region I met Mother Angelica courtesy of a Sheridan, Wyoming cable network station one dark particularly lonesome winter night. Soon thereafter I heard the conversion stories from people that seemed like my family. And my family was a vague recollection of New York Irish Catholic roots I'd been separated from long ago. I watched that "coming home" program until I had to see this thing they were talking about first hand. My heart would settle for nothing less than to dive in. I left a pretty decent job for an employment debacle that lasted for two more years until it became obvious I was unemployable and therefore would have to be self employed. I have been a painting contractor through the greater part of the housing bubble in SW Montana. But I got to have the freedom to throw myself into this new adventure--being a Catholic convert in a time when in certain circles it may bring more than icy stares. RCIA in about 2000. When I realized the "dedicated" parishoners (I was just learning about cafeteria Catholics) were more liberal than the new agers I'd left behind and heard the priest blithely announce in his Sunday homily that he didn't say, nor see a need to say, the Holy Rosary, I knew my search was not through. Not to long after that I was driving around eight hours every other week to a 1962 version of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Then after a Lent of fasting I ended up at the chapel I've been attending for a few years now. Finally I've seen the prayers of forty years come to fruition. This is my 1st letter of interest to an anonymous Catholic lady. And so God bless us all.

I am a 73 year old man, crippled with arthritis in my back, but my mind is as sharp or sharper than it ever was since entering grade school. . I would be most appreciative of feminine companionship, which might someday develop into an intimate relationship, but that is for God and the future to decide. In that regard, I would seek companionship/friendship from that rare woman for whom physical impairment does not interfere with the comeliness of a person. I am capable of being a friend if only through posts. I have several friends in etext production, in that manner, and we do not ever expect to meet each other face to face, but have a warm friendship. I have been active in volunteer work with an etext producer, Distributed Proofreaders, which is a world wide organization. I have had personal websites which I set up myself and have studied computer programming in the recent years as a result of past interest. My interests are many though I do not have time to spend on them all, as much as I would like to do, I have recently not done a project in Physics which I had wanted to accomplish in two years. The two years has gone by now and no project to mention. My next project is to read Nicomachean Ethics and compare it to present day ethical thought.. No times on it yet, but I've started reading.

I am a healthy, active 64 year-old with a calm, amiable personality. I am interested and curious about many things, and a life-long learner. Outside of work, I like hiking, backpacking, woodworking, and golf. I also love to travel, one of the perks of my job as a research scientist at a National Institutes of Health laboratory. The pursuit of education and career has led me from Seattle to the Navajo reservation and Tucson, Arizona; Albuquerque, New Mexico; San Antonio, Texas; and finally Montana. I love the arts, above all music (especially classical and jazz); also live theater and reading. I participate in my parish (choir member) and keenly interested in spirituality and prayer life, a source of peace and a counterbalance to my career for which I am very grateful. I miss out on a lot of things because of no companion to do them with, having moved often enough and late in life enough to leave many good friends, and family, far away.

Newly retired, I pass ,your time doing most outdoors activities, hiking, fishing, kayaking but mostly staying in shape. Staying busy is paramount to me. I do like traveling to see my grown children but allowing them space. I have a church and spiritual life. I found that I dearly like to travel and I do enjoy people and wish I had a person to do these activities with. I'm stable with no baggage . I do enjoy and find time to cook a bit and also fine wine as the sun goes down or a Belgium beer with friends. I enjoy motorcycling and connecting with people. I know I can serve and give to the right person and I'm sure she would reciprocate. If you are this person reply to me. No smokers d.and d free.
