41, Columbus, NEHey yo! I love: to laugh, to make others laugh, humor, listening to music, being with friends, good food, to travel, duct tape, dancing, holidays (especially Christmas), reading, history, talking with friends, the Catholic Church, our way cool Pope, to write (including my attempts at poetry). I am fun and humorous in life's everyday experiences but very serious when need be especially in terms of religion and the love I hope to one day find. I'm loyal, honest, understanding, very loving, a good listener, sensitive (yes, I cry) and emotional. I want someone that I can open up to and who opens up to me. I'm a helpless, incurable romantic; old fashioned that way. Realizing I'm unlikely to meet the type of girl I want on the bar/club scene...I'm here. I realize that true life long love will not come quick and easy. I deeply believe in and value the sanctity of sacramental marriage. I'm looking for a girl who has God in her life, has strong values/morals, and believes in a strong family life to go to Church with, to share my life and good times with, and to be best friends with. Any questions...please ask me! Thank you for reading this whoever you are. God bless you...I wish you success on your search.
50, Omaha, NEGod said "It is not good for man to be alone..." I am looking for a soul mate, that together we can help each other love Jesus more each day. I know that I need someone beside me that can help and I want to also be able to help her. I'm a practicing Catholic who used to be very devote. Over the last few years, that has slipped a bit. I would like to get back to going to daily Mass. If you're looking for someone perfect, I'm not your man. I'm looking for someone who also isn't perfect. Over these past few years, I've had no shortage of attention from divorced ladies. That's always a delicate conversation, explaining to her that I can't date her because we could never have a valid sacramental marriage. If you're in my age range, undoubtedly you've had that same conversation. I'm not looking for a wife to be my savior. I'm looking for someone, that together, we can buffer each other from the temptations and distractions of this world and focus together on being a united testimonial to God.
61, Lincoln, NEI am a homebody that enjoys the comfort of being in my living room, reading or watching good quality television or movies. I enjoy shopping and eating at restaurants. I love to travel, especially to historic areas of America and Europe. I have lived in Europe when I was serving in the US Army. I love European history, art, arcthiture and culture. I love history, especially medieval and American colonial. I am traditional in what I believe in. I am a believer in God, family, country, and conservative values. I am a conservative republican, who is a devout Catholic. I was married for many years, have been divorced for about six years, and have an annulment. I have one child who is a junior in high school. I will always be a small-town guy, even though I have lived in Lincoln for over 30 years. I still miss the quiet and beauty of country life. As much as I enjoy the amenities of city life, I would never be happy in a big city such as Chicago, New York or Los Angeles. Life on an acreage really appeals to me. I was a handguns instructor and am a supporter of the second amendment. My educational background was in secondary education, and I have completed several years in graduate school studying history and special education. I enjoy cooking and researching my family genealogy, reading and writing articles for a local publication. I hope to lead tours in Colonial American locations and Europe in the near future. I have no interest in sports at all. I don't even watch them on TV. I have never used tobacco or drugs. I am not much of a drinker and do not gamble. I am not fond of bars or loud, crowded places. I love animals of all kinds and am looking for someone who shares my values, someone who is not a workaholic, and who values the time she spends with me and wants to discuss everything from current affairs, news, history and her day. I am looking for a kind of girl next door, who has a sense of class and who is well-read, articulate, and kind. I enjoy classic old movies from the 30s through the sixties, as well as a few of the well-made modern ones. As far as music, I am eclectic. I enjoy a lot of the great old sixties songs and singers such as Dean Martin, Petula Clark, Linda Ronstadt, as well as some of the really good country stars of old. I occasionally enjoy opera, classical, and Irish. I detest rap, hip-hop, and heavy metal. If you who would rather listen to a thunderstorm than the noise of a crowded bar, then we may go well together.
35, West Point, NELoving the farm life but looking for a special someone to spend it with!! Have had lots of great life experiences traveling for work but moved back a few years ago to be closer to family, friends, the farm, and a great Catholic Community in which I am very involved with the Church and local Catholic school. Have a great job trading commodities and farming on the side as well as hobbies of woodworking, kayaking, gardening, and traveling that keep my busy! Looking for a good country woman to spend time with and see where it leads on life's adventure....
30, Lincoln, NEI lived in Lincoln for 10 years prior to moving to Norfolk to return to school. I was on Catholic Match for awhile, and took a break while dating a gal. Things didn't work out, so I figured I might use this as a way to meet new people in a new area. I'm sure I'll add to this as time goes on, but now you'll just have to reach out and ask if you want more.
45, McCook, NEThere will be no doubts, that is what I can promise you. When a man and a woman live their Catholic faith together and keep God in the forefront, all the doubts are erased. No reason to ask "what if"? No reason to ever get jealous. All the game playing will stop, except for the fact that I coach basketball. I love what I do and it has been my primary focus up until now. I'd like to have my own family as opposed to adopting one. I need that one person to be my partner with our Catholic faith guiding us. Life is not easy, but when I find who I am looking for, I will guarantee her that her doubts are over.
25, Lincoln, NEHi! I'm Nate, I moved to Omaha a little while back but it won't let me change it. I have a career as an electrician and I'm looking to move into the next step in my life. So my time is pretty valuable to me. I would say history and world affairs are my passion, these topics consume most my free time. Along with going to the gym. A lot of reading! I'm pretty traditional and do not keep up with the times. I have a large family and am very close with them. Family is the most important thing in my life.
32, Alliance, NEHi there and thanks for stopping by! I'm Shane. I am someone who is strong in traditional Christian values and conservative beliefs. I have a high moral standard and can be a little old fashioned at times. I'm joyful in the fact that I am saving myself for marriage and it would be nice if you did too. A few words that I would say describe me are: compassionate, honest, loyal, organized, methodical, easy going, a great listener, and very family oriented. I am extremely loyal to my faith, family, friends and country. When I have developed a relationship, I will stand completely committed. The two MOST important things in my life are God and family. I am an active member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoy the time I get to spend with my brothers in Christ! I currently work two jobs that keep me pretty busy... but I still get two days off every week. Phew :-) I really enjoy listening to music and love to join in when I can (although I'm a little rusty :( I'm hoping to one day get back into another performing group, including the choir at church. I enjoy sports and have a passion for the recreational types when it comes to participation. When staying in, I enjoy; cooking, cards, board games and video games (although rare nowadays) and a good movie. I have a true passion for many outdoor activities that include: hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, rodeos, and watching a good storm roll through.
53, Columbus, NEOctober 28, 2016. I have been on the site for six months as a member, enjoying conversations with a few special ladies. Recently my health really took a downturn, my doctors have told me I need a heart transplant. (Not to worry, I feel just as good as ever.) But-- Marriage doesn't seem to be what the Lord has planned for me any longer. Friendship is the best I could offer at this point. Past that, would be unfair to a woman looking for a life-long companion. At one time my son and I had quite an animal shelter going. At age ten he started bringing puppies and kittens home. Then by thirteen we had a chicken coupe fenced in the back yard. It became quite a menagerie with aquariums and gerbil cities. (We had to put the foot down on the bugs.) I'm no stranger to the needs of many multiple species of fauna. I've found ornathecia to be among the most intelligent in Gods creation. I could see birds taking over if we're not careful. Lol As hobbies. I enjoy art, painting, sculpting (even in steel) and writing. I have been self employed in the field of custom car restorative auto body for the better part of 25 years. Rewarding on a creative level but noisy, dusty and chemical laden. My health isn't what it was due to it.
42, Omaha, NEI recently moved to an FSSP parish; I grew up with the Novus Ordo, but have learned to appreciate the...rigor...of the traditional Mass. I currently work for a credit card processing company, but have completed my MBA; we shall see what the next few months bring. I earned a license to be an amateur radio Technician last summer, I intend to find some time within the next few months to acquire the skill sets for General and Amateur Extra licenses. ...And I intend to acquire a Concealed Carry Permit this next spring. ...And learn Latin. ...And a few other languages. I am also teaching myself to play guitar, however slowly, and own a (cheap) violin and a (not-so-cheap) e-keyboard. In time, I hope to learn to play all three. Maybe I'm crazy, but I intend to investigate the options for pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. I have long been intrigued by what stuff is made off--which is basically what Chemistry is about--and I wish to help people, if I may--which pharmacy does. We'll see. I never seem to find cause to quit learning things! I also hope to join the Nebraska Air National Guard before long. I don't think full time military duty would work, but I would like to be involved with defending the nation even so. Technically, I guess I'm "middle-aged" now, but I've got tons of life and spark left. Care to come along on this journey of mine?
