33, Lincoln, NEWe all have an ideal in our minds of whom we want to marry, and I am no different. In reality, though, if we are to experience love, we must relinquish this ideal in exchange for the chance to journey through this crazy life together with an imperfect but real person. My ideal includes finding someone who is authentically Catholic, utterly honest, and genuine. I hope to find someone who wants to have a family and is as excited to be a parent as I am. I envision my wife and me challenging each other and helping each other grow. Finally, on a more mundane level, I want us to feel comfortable being fully ourselves, to share common interests, and to make each other laugh. I think sharing all of these connections will help us to become truly one, and it is hard for me to think of sharing my life with someone who does not embody these qualities in some form. But this is just a list, and any person I should meet will of course surprise me in many ways. I am excited to learn about and come to love a unique but imperfect person. I am ready to love when it is hard, be hurt, forgive, and, through it all, make love possible. Such love is not something that just happens but requires commitment, self-sacrifice, and effort. This very challenge excites me, and I hope to find someone who embraces love as both a challenging and exciting journey. My desire to both provide and be present for a family was a big reason why I chose to pursue a career in accounting. After graduating from high school in my hometown of Mitchell, SD, I attended college at the University of Notre Dame with the initial goal of becoming a professor of theology. Eventually, though, through various life experiences and reflections, I found my way into accounting. For the last three years I have worked for the Nebraska State Auditor. My job is both challenging and rewarding and is good fit both for my talents and disposition. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, watching and playing sports, following political and financial news, and watching movies. I am also part of a young adult group in Lincoln. If you are interested in knowing more, I look forward to hearing from you. I prefer to meet in person sooner rather than later when it comes to online correspondence. God bless you!

36, Lincoln, NEI am a man in my mid-thirties, and an ex-seminarian. I used to teach science, but I am currently discerning what God is calling me to. I love to fish, play with my dog Jade ( as if that doesn't prove I'm a nerd, naming my dog after a mineral), and do just about anything outdoors. My Catholic faith is a big part of my life, and am open to whatever God has in store for me. I have learned the hard way to do God's will; after all, He knows best. I am fairly well educated, as I am just shy of having two masters degrees. One in education, and one in theology. I would love to finish both some day, but that takes both time and money. I love kids, and I love learning. I also thoroughly enjoy a good theological conversation. Each day is a learning experience forme. I'm also currently working on writing a book; which I guess is kind of ironic because I've never really been much of a reader.
33, Hastings, NEI am passionate about many things. I love to hunt and fish, do carpentry and furniture making, camp and spend time outdoors. I am also very passionate teaching and went into the field because of two great teachers I have had in my life an I hope to be that type of influence on my students. If I can help one student my career will have been well worth it. I grew up with a great family and am close to them all. I am the second oldest and the only one who is not married with a family. I have 15 nieces and nephews to whom I play the favorite. I can't say enough about what they all mean to me, spending time with them is very important. I am originally from a farm/small town and love to get back and help out whenever I can make it work. Someday I would like to live in the country again. I learned the value of hard work very young and am always coming up with a new project or business venture. I currently operate my own business on the side. God has blessed me with many talents and I enjoy putting those talents to work. I have joined this site because I believe that God has the perfect someone for me out there and I am obviously not finding her where I am. I have a deep longing to have a family of my own, someone with whom I can grow into the person God wants me to be and hopefully one day raise children with. If you have any questions please ask, I hope to hear from you soon!
52, Columbus, NEOctober 28, 2016. I have been on the site for six months as a member, enjoying conversations with a few special ladies. Recently my health really took a downturn, my doctors have told me I need a heart transplant. (Not to worry, I feel just as good as ever.) But-- Marriage doesn't seem to be what the Lord has planned for me any longer. Friendship is the best I could offer at this point. Past that, would be unfair to a woman looking for a life-long companion. At one time my son and I had quite an animal shelter going. At age ten he started bringing puppies and kittens home. Then by thirteen we had a chicken coupe fenced in the back yard. It became quite a menagerie with aquariums and gerbil cities. (We had to put the foot down on the bugs.) I'm no stranger to the needs of many multiple species of fauna. I've found ornathecia to be among the most intelligent in Gods creation. I could see birds taking over if we're not careful. Lol As hobbies. I enjoy art, painting, sculpting (even in steel) and writing. I have been self employed in the field of custom car restorative auto body for the better part of 25 years. Rewarding on a creative level but noisy, dusty and chemical laden. My health isn't what it was due to it.
20, Lincoln, NEI am a young man, I have gone to Catholic School most of my Life. I lived in Lincoln,NE with my foster parents for a very long time before my recent move here to Winter Garden Florida.
55, Omaha, NEI have many interests and passions. In my office I have a poster that states "Every Passion Has Its Destiny". It shows a picture of US Olympian Billy Mills winning a gold medal in the 10K at the 1964 Olympics. Most everyone who knows me is aware of my passion for running. I'm not an elite runner, but a life-long, semi-serious competitive runner. Mostly I run half marathons and 10Ks, and have dabbled in triathlons. I think our passions change, sometimes they are placed on hold, and some are naturally pursed to a greater or lesser degree at different times in our lives--but they all have their own divine destiny at the proper time. I'm passion about my faith and remarrying in the Catholic church as evidenced by this profile. I've been divorced for 25 years and have received an annulment. Like most of us, my faith is a work-in-progress, and I'm not afraid I'm not particularly good at always knowing what God's will is. However, I do believe that at this point in my life there is still someone out there somewhere who I can have a happy marriage with. I'm in my mid-50's, and my hair is thinning and my skin is sagging--but hopefully I still have a few good things to offer someone!!! Aside from running, my other interests and passions, in no particular order, include travel, sports, cars, and my two sons. I'm an engineer by profession, have an MBA, and I'm also retired from the National Guard. I'm looking forward to retiring from my civilian job in about 4 years and pursing some new passions. These passions will include helping my son start a business, restoring Corvettes, charity work, helping family, travel, and pursuing whatever development I need to become a "better version of myself". In the meantime, I will continue to work, plan for retirement, and pursue the fore-mentioned passions as much as time permits.

24, Crofton, NEHi, I'm Travis. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. I am now helping to manage a farming operation near my hometown. I was raised on a family farm, and the lifestyle has left a lasting impact on my life. I enjoy most anything outdoors, as well as sitting down and relaxing when the opportunity arises. There are few things I enjoy more than sitting down and having a great conversation over a couple drinks. And to end the night on a dance floor, just makes it that much better. I was always raised catholic, but it wasn't until college, where I meet some lifelong friends that got me involved in the Newman center. Through a series of events, I experienced a great conversion, and my life has since changed dramatically. My faith has grown from simply a Sunday obligation, to the basis of my whole life. I growth will be a lifelong process. I have the hopes to find someone who takes their faith as seriously as I, and will help me grown spiritually, as I help her do the same.
50, Omaha, NEThanks for taking time to see what I am about. I am that "good guy" who loves life. Interests are simple, my kids, family and friends. I have a job that allows me to continually meet new people. I am intrigued by great and easy conversation. Biking and walking are my escape. Discovering life and all that it has to offer is where I am at. Love cooking, good wine and good beer. Please don't give me a Coors lite!
