  • Mike, 68 from Lincoln, NE
    68, Lincoln, NE
I tend to be direct and informed; and I will gravitate toward women who are intellectually exciting, creative, ambitious, hard working and unconventional and like to dicuss topics broadly and thoroughly. In return I am fiercely loyal. I am daring, I like novel ideas and new adventures.
  • Bill, 61 from Lincoln, NE
    61, Lincoln, NE
I am a homebody that enjoys the comfort of being in my living room, reading or watching good quality television or movies. I enjoy shopping and eating at restaurants. I love to travel, especially to historic areas of America and Europe. I have lived in Europe when I was serving in the US Army. I love European history, art, arcthiture and culture. I love history, especially medieval and American colonial. I am traditional in what I believe in. I am a believer in God, family, country, and conservative values. I am a conservative republican, who is a devout Catholic. I was married for many years, have been divorced for about six years, and have an annulment. I have one child who is a junior in high school. I will always be a small-town guy, even though I have lived in Lincoln for over 30 years. I still miss the quiet and beauty of country life. As much as I enjoy the amenities of city life, I would never be happy in a big city such as Chicago, New York or Los Angeles. Life on an acreage really appeals to me. I was a handguns instructor and am a supporter of the second amendment. My educational background was in secondary education, and I have completed several years in graduate school studying history and special education. I enjoy cooking and researching my family genealogy, reading and writing articles for a local publication. I hope to lead tours in Colonial American locations and Europe in the near future. I have no interest in sports at all. I don't even watch them on TV. I have never used tobacco or drugs. I am not much of a drinker and do not gamble. I am not fond of bars or loud, crowded places. I love animals of all kinds and am looking for someone who shares my values, someone who is not a workaholic, and who values the time she spends with me and wants to discuss everything from current affairs, news, history and her day. I am looking for a kind of girl next door, who has a sense of class and who is well-read, articulate, and kind. I enjoy classic old movies from the 30s through the sixties, as well as a few of the well-made modern ones. As far as music, I am eclectic. I enjoy a lot of the great old sixties songs and singers such as Dean Martin, Petula Clark, Linda Ronstadt, as well as some of the really good country stars of old. I occasionally enjoy opera, classical, and Irish. I detest rap, hip-hop, and heavy metal. If you who would rather listen to a thunderstorm than the noise of a crowded bar, then we may go well together.

  • John, 42 from Omaha, NE
    42, Omaha, NE
I have been a parishioner at an FSSP parish for most of a year now. I don't entirely like all the ceremony and Latin. Even so, I prefer that to the never-ending battles over rubrics and other rules that tend to plague the Novus Ordo. If the TLM can be rigid, I find the NO can be equally so, in a different way. I do hope to raise a family in the context of the traditional Mass, if only to avoid the madness the other option seems to offer. I currently work for a credit card processing company; I have completed an MBA and have begun considering the options for using that education. I also have long held a distinct interest in chemistry and would like to help people. If I can find a way to pursue a pharmacy program, I probably will. Whether I can pursue pharmacy or not, I'm hoping I can find a path that offers good opportunities for other pursuits. At differing times, I have enjoyed flying airplanes, paddling canoes, hiking through forests and prairies, and walking through older, European cities. I have also enjoyed performing vocal music and am learning to play a guitar. I would like to instill a passion for all of the above, plus a interest in electronics and radio into my kids. Doing all that will require lots of financial resources. I hope to find a management opportunity that will offer lots of help with this. I have also noted in the past few years that, ...for all that I found military service annoying at times, I still miss being involved with being prepared to fight, should such be required. I hope to join the Nebraska Air National Guard within a few months. ...And, sooner or later, I'd like to acquire a concealed carry permit to help myself and others be prepared for personal defense, and learn a few other languages too, just so I can understand foreign leaders without an interpreter. I would like to teach my kids to love music, love philosophy, theology, and faith, to love the Church and Christ. Technically, I guess I'm "middle-aged" now, but I've got tons of life and spark left. Care to come along on this journey of mine?
  • Travis, 24 from Crofton, NE
    24, Crofton, NE
Hi, I'm Travis. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. I am now helping to manage a farming operation near my hometown. I was raised on a family farm, and the lifestyle has left a lasting impact on my life. I enjoy most anything outdoors, as well as sitting down and relaxing when the opportunity arises. There are few things I enjoy more than sitting down and having a great conversation over a couple drinks. And to end the night on a dance floor, just makes it that much better. I was always raised catholic, but it wasn't until college, where I meet some lifelong friends that got me involved in the Newman center. Through a series of events, I experienced a great conversion, and my life has since changed dramatically. My faith has grown from simply a Sunday obligation, to the basis of my whole life. I growth will be a lifelong process. I have the hopes to find someone who takes their faith as seriously as I, and will help me grown spiritually, as I help her do the same.
  • Alex, 24 from Fremont, NE
    24, Fremont, NE
Hiya! Howdy-a do? I am a pretty light-hearted guy who likes to think about people, ideas, machines, the general, and how they all individually work. Sometimes I enjoy overthinking simple things such as Introduction sections of personal profiles, list sentences, and especially Christmas gift ideas! I like to believe I have a moderately high wit with a splash of charm. Friends are easily made by me as I have an approachable ambiance or so I've been told.

Hey there! My name is Dan and I am 21 years old. I am about to finish up my final semester at the University of Nebraska Omaha studying civil engineering. I am terrible at writing about myself upfront. There is plenty to know about me and even though I can be guarded, I am very open. Believe me, I will not be like anyone you've ever met! Get to know me!

Here you will find a standard model Nebraska born and bred male who is remarkably well preserved for his 47 years residing in the Church Militant. The creature you see next to me is my daughter who is a very unique gift from God. I spent 6 years in the Navy after high school followed by earning a degree in Civil Engineering. I have worked for a local public utility for 13 years and have a business in real estate investing. With the right person I enjoy traveling, conversation on a variety of topics, partaking in local activities and attractions while also embracing time spent at home. I am constantly reading but mostly about spiritual topics of late.
