35, Columbus, NEI am pretty easy guy to get along with, I like to volunteer. I like to help people as much as possible. I am very laid back, and I like to laugh. I try very hard to be the best person that I can be, and like to hang out with my family and friends.
68, Lincoln, NEI tend to be direct and informed; and I will gravitate toward women who are intellectually exciting, creative, ambitious, hard working and unconventional and like to dicuss topics broadly and thoroughly. In return I am fiercely loyal. I am daring, I like novel ideas and new adventures.
61, Lincoln, NEI am a homebody that enjoys the comfort of being in my living room, reading or watching good quality television or movies. I enjoy shopping and eating at restaurants. I love to travel, especially to historic areas of America and Europe. I have lived in Europe when I was serving in the US Army. I love European history, art, arcthiture and culture. I love history, especially medieval and American colonial. I am traditional in what I believe in. I am a believer in God, family, country, and conservative values. I am a conservative republican, who is a devout Catholic. I was married for many years, have been divorced for about six years, and have an annulment. I have one child who is a junior in high school. I will always be a small-town guy, even though I have lived in Lincoln for over 30 years. I still miss the quiet and beauty of country life. As much as I enjoy the amenities of city life, I would never be happy in a big city such as Chicago, New York or Los Angeles. Life on an acreage really appeals to me. I was a handguns instructor and am a supporter of the second amendment. My educational background was in secondary education, and I have completed several years in graduate school studying history and special education. I enjoy cooking and researching my family genealogy, reading and writing articles for a local publication. I hope to lead tours in Colonial American locations and Europe in the near future. I have no interest in sports at all. I don't even watch them on TV. I have never used tobacco or drugs. I am not much of a drinker and do not gamble. I am not fond of bars or loud, crowded places. I love animals of all kinds and am looking for someone who shares my values, someone who is not a workaholic, and who values the time she spends with me and wants to discuss everything from current affairs, news, history and her day. I am looking for a kind of girl next door, who has a sense of class and who is well-read, articulate, and kind. I enjoy classic old movies from the 30s through the sixties, as well as a few of the well-made modern ones. As far as music, I am eclectic. I enjoy a lot of the great old sixties songs and singers such as Dean Martin, Petula Clark, Linda Ronstadt, as well as some of the really good country stars of old. I occasionally enjoy opera, classical, and Irish. I detest rap, hip-hop, and heavy metal. If you who would rather listen to a thunderstorm than the noise of a crowded bar, then we may go well together.
46, La Vista, NEObvious statement of the day - Dating is tough. You are limited to a small space in order to "sell" who you are, hoping what you say can make an impact on someone. Who is this person that one day I may introduce to my kids, my family and my friends. What kind of person are they? Will they be a positive influence in my life as well as the lives of my kids - help "us" on our journey. Can those questions be answered in the limited amount of information they provide or justify my I decision to "pass" them by because they do not "look" or "fit" what others may think if we are together instead of getting to know the person? Like I said, dating is tough. I am an easy going, laid back guy. I am the dad to three great girls who vary in age. I attend mass each week and I make sure that my girls attend CCD each week. It is my responsibility to ensure that religion is as important to them as it was to me when I was growing up. If there is anything you would like to know, please feel free to ask.
32, Omaha, NEMy name is Todd and I'm looking for a lovely woman to spend some time with and get to know! In my personal life I like being around people who are comfortable with themselves, have accepted their flaws, are willing to be challenged, share their vulnerabilities and can just make fun of themselves every now and again. Nothing is more attractive than that. In my spare time you will find me playing golf, volleyball, having a good conversation, challenging the status quo while letting rip my natural debating skills. Please do say hello....!
45, Omaha, NEWhat I'm passionate about? That's easy, I'm passionate about meeting you. I'm looking for that special woman I can't live without. I guess that's why I joined this site. I figured why not. What a great place to meet really great people. What I enjoy? I really enjoy spending time with my dog Oscar. Oscar is 15 and I love him. When I'm not w/ Oscar, I'm riding my motorcycle, hunting at the family farm, hanging out with friends or going to the gym getting in a workout or taking a yoga class.
29, Scottsbluff, NEFirst of all, I am not sure what to write about myself. I suppose talking about things I do enjoy such as: Shooting, Hiking, Camping, most activities outdoors. I enjoy writing music, listening to music and learning different instruments. Primarily I play bass guitar and is the one instrument that has really paid for my schooling! Lets, see, I served 4 years Active Duty in the marines and was the best decision I have ever made and never regret one moment. I guess if you have more questions please feel free to ask!
45, McCook, NEThere will be no doubts, that is what I can promise you. When a man and a woman live their Catholic faith together and keep God in the forefront, all the doubts are erased. No reason to ask "what if"? No reason to ever get jealous. All the game playing will stop, except for the fact that I coach basketball. I love what I do and it has been my primary focus up until now. I'd like to have my own family as opposed to adopting one. I need that one person to be my partner with our Catholic faith guiding us. Life is not easy, but when I find who I am looking for, I will guarantee her that her doubts are over.
53, Columbus, NEOctober 28, 2016. I have been on the site for six months as a member, enjoying conversations with a few special ladies. Recently my health really took a downturn, my doctors have told me I need a heart transplant. (Not to worry, I feel just as good as ever.) But-- Marriage doesn't seem to be what the Lord has planned for me any longer. Friendship is the best I could offer at this point. Past that, would be unfair to a woman looking for a life-long companion. At one time my son and I had quite an animal shelter going. At age ten he started bringing puppies and kittens home. Then by thirteen we had a chicken coupe fenced in the back yard. It became quite a menagerie with aquariums and gerbil cities. (We had to put the foot down on the bugs.) I'm no stranger to the needs of many multiple species of fauna. I've found ornathecia to be among the most intelligent in Gods creation. I could see birds taking over if we're not careful. Lol As hobbies. I enjoy art, painting, sculpting (even in steel) and writing. I have been self employed in the field of custom car restorative auto body for the better part of 25 years. Rewarding on a creative level but noisy, dusty and chemical laden. My health isn't what it was due to it.
24, Crofton, NEHi, I'm Travis. I graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Agricultural Business. I am now helping to manage a farming operation near my hometown. I was raised on a family farm, and the lifestyle has left a lasting impact on my life. I enjoy most anything outdoors, as well as sitting down and relaxing when the opportunity arises. There are few things I enjoy more than sitting down and having a great conversation over a couple drinks. And to end the night on a dance floor, just makes it that much better. I was always raised catholic, but it wasn't until college, where I meet some lifelong friends that got me involved in the Newman center. Through a series of events, I experienced a great conversion, and my life has since changed dramatically. My faith has grown from simply a Sunday obligation, to the basis of my whole life. I growth will be a lifelong process. I have the hopes to find someone who takes their faith as seriously as I, and will help me grown spiritually, as I help her do the same.
73, Omaha, NEFamily and my faith are most important. I play racketball weekly and play as much golf as the weather allows. In between I go to the gym. I also spend time with family.
53, Gretna, NEConfident, stable, mature man looking for the same in a woman. I successfully completed one career as an officer in the US Army and am now halfway through my second career as a professional historian. Love the outdoors, hiking, biking, fishing, camping, etc. I'm an avid reader of history and use that to better understand the past. Enjoy the time with my kids that are still at home and try to have a Sunday Family Day outing each weekend I have them. I can sometimes be serious and other times goofy. I have a variety of things to keep me busy in my free time: Harleys, Jeeping, working on old cars, hiking, camping, the symphony/ballet, cool bands at the Waiting Room, my damn-fool dog; you get the gist. I'd say I'm hopeful and an optimist about the future and I think we meet people at the right time in our lives. A wise friend once said God places circumstances in our lives to direct, correct, or perfect us. I'd like to go out with someone who may or may not share my interests, but is interesting in her own right. Let's meet, talk a bit, and see where it goes from there.
