Most everyone sees me as a high energy person who has a lot of interests. I am told by many that I look at least 10 years younger and have a strong resemblance to a young Harrison Ford. I love my Church and my Savior and although I listed a local parish which has longstanding evangelist ties---I have taught CCD for many years in many parishes as part of my promise. I generally worship at a local Monastery that has a convenient daily Mass when I am not working. I have dismissed early in my soul searching, a religious commitment and have felt my contribution is as a lay person - a good one. The Christian nature of my life makes me vulnerable but offers many chances to affect others. I sleep well at night knowing I have done my best with what God has given me for that day. I work out at the gym often to try to shed some of the stress of working for an international start-up company. Despite the demand, I find my current job challenging and rewarding. Living alone on a farm in a rural setting offers me the release from my job and puts me in touch with something that is out of this world. Just one winter night looking up at the bright stars is all that it takes to humble me. As for myself - I have many interests that are designed to drain me of whatever energy I have left. I am an accomplished pilot who has all the credits for a commercial licence. I have an affinity for the water and ocean and love boating and canoeing the rivers. I enjoy camping and just hiking when given a challenge. I have skied but after an accident in Switzerland have shied away. I have done considerable international travel but have somehow missed China. My love for the ocean and pounding surf lures me to the Cape Cod shores often in the summer. I was active in horseback riding and used to offer my trail guiding services to a stable in the Blue Hills in the Boston area. I have had horse ownership and am thinking of it again as my life is slowing down and taking shape. I am in the process of putting up two new barns on the farm and I really need a reason to call it a farm. I consider myself a self made man in that I still believe in getting my hands dirty. I am not an elitest nor a couch potato. My engineering consulting career has taken on some exciting assignments worldwide. I have the ability to conceive and build most anything. Now to find the person who wishes to be part of some wonderful times and share some warmth

Upon our retirement, we moved to N.H. from Mass. I am now a widower. I'm a retired law enforcement officer, and former business owner. I'm a veteran of the U.S. Army. I work out 3 days a week and consider myself to be in good health. I am easy going and take things as they come. I'm usually not surprised by much any more as I have pretty much seen everything. I like to live and let live. I'm fairly conservative in my politics, however, what my partner believes is her business. I am close to my four children, their spouses and my grand-children, I stay out of their business, however, they know I am available to them if the need arises. I volunteer at my church and I'm available to those that need my help. Being an animal lover I currently do not own any pets, as I am unable to devote to them the time they deserve. My nationality is Italian, I enjoy traveling and especially enjoy spontaneous trips.

I am a free thinker and spirit per se, but based on traditional conservative Catholic values. I am not a holy roller but do adhere to a moral compass and realistic common sense. I have been alone now for 3 yrs. and was a single parent for over 12 yrs including a special needs son whom I still see frequently as he is an adult.

After 52 years of marriage I have learned a lot about marriage, but nothing about how to write a dating profile! I live in rural NH with my two dogs and I am active in my church and community. My mornings usually start with a coffee, then a hike with my dogs, and sometimes the neighbors and their dogs too. One day a week I volunteer at my church's food pantry. Other days I work on home improvement projects or garden / yard work in the warmer months. I like taking road trips and recently drove to the West Coast to visit my daughter. I have been blessed with good health and try to remain active. In the evening I might relax with some TV or a magazine or perhaps some internet research. My interests include solar technology, antique cars, and woodworking. I was a master plumber by trade, but outside work I have built everything from my family home to dollhouses, cabinets to casserole dish trivets. I am close to my family and often talk by phone to my three children. I have built my life on being a hard working, honest, and morally upright person. I am hoping to find a woman who shares these values.
