I consider myself to be honest, sincere, caring, down-to-earth, romantic. I'm more on the casual side than the formal side. I enjoy doing things outdoors. Although time is somewhat restrictive when I can I'll walk, bicycle, motorcycle, canoe, ski, snorkel, and play an occasional game of tennis or golf. I like to travel to different places and enjoy eating out. I'm more of a New England type person than a shore person although that doesn't rule out the shore, particularly when it's not crowded. I'm more of an autumn/spring/winter person than a hot humid day in NJ person. Music is an important part of my life. I play the drums regularly and the guitar occasionally. Although I don't enjoy it I exercise daily to stay in shape. I dance, but it's been a while. Relaxing at home (reading or watching a football game) is also important to me. I would like to meet someone who's also active and keeps herself physically fit.

I am a widow who lost my wife of over fifty years to a long battle with cancer last Summer. We always lived life to the fullest and enjoyed doing things together; whether it be a week or two at the Jersey Shore, a cruise to some far off island, or just a short car ride to visit family or friends. Now that she is gone to the better life, I am left with a large hole in my life and my heart. She reminded me, more than once prior to death, that it was OK for me to go out and look to find a "new" soul-mate, because man is not expected to live alone. I am blessed with good health and am still able to work at a job that gives me satisfaction as well as some "spending funds". I enjoy going out for a great meal but likewise enjoy staying home with a good steak on the grill or a nice steamed lobster, both of which I am able to prepare properly. I enjoy going to new places and always love returning to that one nice warm Island in the Sun.

I am a 60 year old man who, by what I consider most standards, lived a usual life. I'm sure all the experiences people live through may seem very unique (I hope that's spelled right) but in reality they are pretty much the same. I look at it this way; for all the folks that say "If I had to do it all over again, it would work fine" seem to have forgotten Murphy's law. The laws of probability lean towards the notion that we would all just find a different way to end up in the exact same place we are now. I think the cards we were given are the only cards were going to get in this life. That's not to say just go with the flow and your destiny is pre set any-way, but it really is, and if you believe in the bible, God knew all of us before we came into being. I can say I hope I am "doing it right". The men and women (starting out as boys and girls) I admired growing up are just typical people you would find anywhere. In my opinion they were talented people that were brought up in, what I deem, a fair manner. Your up-bringing and the uniqueness of each of your parents as of your piers is a strong influence on your character. I like the easy things life offers and hope to find my own little piece of this world I'll be able to call my happy time. That's the hour when you realize just how messed up the world is and just how lucky you are to be able to realize it

I enjoy a simple, quite life but I welcome interruptions to go on occasional adventures. Visits to local or not so local shrines and visits to friends and family are favorites of mine. My parents were the biggest influence on my life and the Sicilian heritage that formed them. In Faith I learned an enormous amount from Scott Hahn and his verse by verse Catholic bible studies. Playing acoustic guitar and reading about Faith, culture and history are fun past times. But suggest a day trip to the Jersey shore or Central Park in NYC or a nearby historic town with good restaurants and wineries or a minor league baseball park and I look forward to sharing a great time.
