35, Bosque, NMI am a hard working professional who enjoys the simple things in life. I live in a small town and enjoy being outdoors in my free time. I'm a pretty down to earth guy. Yes we are all looking for that special someone next door, however let's face it, we probably wouldn't be on this site if that was the case.
42, Corrales, NMI'm a Catholic, single dad, blessed with three amazing young children, one girl, two boys. I grew up in a large family on a beautiful farm in West Virginia and inherited my parents' love of faith, family, and friends. I'm optimistic, fun-loving, and easy-going. I love conversation, classical music, theology, philosophy, literature, art, classical Catholic education, travel, the outdoors, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, home improvement, and relaxing at home with a warm fireplace and a movie. I love my job teaching theology and philosophy at a Catholic high school, and have enjoyed being a part time ski instructor at Ski Santa Fe. I feel very privileged to inspire young people with the gospel and the classics. But mostly I love being a dad and spending time with my children, going on outings and adventures. They are the joy of my life. We attend weekly Mass at a Byzantine Catholic parish, where I help with children's catechism class, and sometimes also attend a weekday Latin rite Mass. I've enjoyed singing with liturgical choirs and have worked in youth and adult ministries. I'm divorced, with annulment in process, so only open for friendship until finalized. I've come to embrace and enjoy the present and look forward to all lies ahead.
47, Las Vegas, NMThe most passionate thing in my life is helping others and being there for my family. Life is a journey of several chapters in life. I want to finish the chapters in my life with peace, love, happiness and fun.
29, Albuquerque, NMIf I were to describe myself, I believe I would be well served to compare myself to the character, Bilbo Baggins. While I would be hard pressed to pass as a Hobbit with my height, the character embodies the love of home and hearth, while also possessing the daring to adventure beyond the next hill. Like Bilbo, I enjoy the comforts of home and hearth, to return home after a busy day to a warm home and meal, free to forget about the days troubles until they come again in the morning. Yet also like the old hobbit, it is not enough to live in the shadow of the mountains. I want to see what is beyond my doorstep, and to have an journey worth remembering. I would call myself an introvert and I find walks though the park, or even around the block, to be fulfilling and full of wonder and beauty. I can work all around the state of New Mexico and still find beauty in the most rugged of locations. I enjoy reading, and hiking, but other activities that fill non-work hours include gaming, and writing. As is apparent from my opening, I love Lord of the Rings, and some of the other books I have read in the past year include: Fr. Elijah: an Apocalypse, Augustine's Confessions, and The Worm Ouroboros. Until my term was up, I served as treasurer for my local writers group. I have completed two novels with intention to write more, however, as I am pursuing my CPA, the wee hours of the morning have been rededicated to study.
50, Albuquerque, NMI am a retired teacher. I taught Special Education for 25 years and currently taking care of my mother. My dad passed away a year and a half ago. I have a very close family and love spending time with them. I enjoy playing my guitar (which I learned played in the choir growing up) and also like to golf. I enjoy the outdoors, camping and traveling.
32, Albuquerque, NMHi, my name is Long from Albuquerque New mexico. Just a good friendly guy who is looking for a pure wife. I work in engineering and like to do sports in my spare time. I have many other hobbies also. I really hope to meet others like mself.
42, Edgewood, NM"Only one life which soon will pass. Only what's done with love will last." God is my rock. My motto is "Work hard, play harder!" I am an Engineer with a Masters degree in business administration. I am very laid back, fun, and easy to get along with. I have a lot of really interesting friends who make my life all that much better. I would hate to bore you by telling you how wonderful I am by attaching to my name a bunch of flattering adjectives. I am sure that you have already found this about two hundred times in all the other profiles. I believe that words are cheap, but actions speak much louder and I tend to be a man of action. I feel very blessed to love what I do. I like to think of myself as confident but, I'm a very humble man. I understand that there's a time to give and be loving and understanding. I also believe in standing up for what I believe and not being walked on. I'm always there for my friends and loved ones. I am truly passionate about the outdoors and want a partner to share that passion with me. I believe God created us to live life to the fullest and experience all the adventure the world has to offer. There is nothing better than being a Dad and raising my 11 year old twins If you think wed get along, send me a short message, Id be happy to hear from you. Who knows, it could be the start of something amazing!
21, Albuquerque, NMHello! My name is Eddie, and I'm a junior in college studying for my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. I'm passionate in my studies, because I find it exciting to learn more about how things exist, and why they exist. I also enjoy logical challenges and puzzles, enough to where I would like to solve them for a living. I've had a few people that I've looked up to in life. Top among them would probably be my mother and father. I appreciated the very special kindness of my father when he was alive, and the way both of my parents dealt with hardships. I also had a close childhood friend whom I've looked up to over the years. He always seemed to be a model son, with a strong faith. A few years back, he moved to California for his studies in theology. In my free time, I am often found over a chess set. I've played the game since I was five years old, and have spent a good amount of time studying it for the past eight years or so. I write the chess puzzle for every edition of my university paper, and hope to eventually become the chess columnist for a city paper. I also enjoy coding as a hobby; it's addicting to envision a simple program in your head, and then bring it to life by typing a few lines! Aside from these, I play the piano (erm, not very well! but I enjoy it), whistle, and sing in my spare time.
