I am very down to earth, honest, caring, warm gentleman looking for a chance to prove what I am all about. I really enjoy spending time with my adult children, socializing with friends, meeting new people but most of all waiting to know what God's will is for me finding my next companion.

I am an old-fashioned Catholic man who believes in God, doing the right thing, true love and death-do-you-part. I am told I am a good friend, loyal, funny and caring. I'm looking for that "special someone" with whom to share all of life's joys that God has given us. Are you out there? Note: In regards to my scrapbook photos, I don't know if it was the lighting or the angle but, I am NOT going bald! Yes, I worry about that. LOL!

I think it would be great to be with someone that, regardless of what the world threw at the two of us, we'd make it because we have eachother. I am litter trained, and a pretty happy and positive person..I believe in my faith, and it has helped me hit the curve-balls life has pitched me..Have felt the pull to go back to mass and adhere to the sacrements again..For some reason I keep letting go..Hopefully one day soon I can reel it back in..Has been my foundation and my early up-bringing in the church was a very happy time for me..

I like being outdoors, big Yankees fan, play golf, take walks, look at Gods' beauty. I volunteer at my church, and other organizations I belong to. I have my own business I started, not too much work, but enough to keep me moving, don't want to work too hard in retirement:) I enjoy helping people. Like to travel and also visit NYC every once in a while. In cold weather I enjoy sitting in front of my fireplace sipping a glass of wine.

Having been brought up in the South Bronx section of New York, I had many friends. I have learned that there is room for one more. You know, that special one to share the good times, the not-so-good times and just life in general. That morning cup of coffee or that special dinner for 2 in the table in the corner. Despite my ability to live alone (with the cats of course), I am finding that loneliness can sometimes be overwhelming. Coffee 4-2 to start ?? Perhaps breakfast, in or out of Croton.

Hello. Now I'm going to try and write about myself. I'm hoping that I can find my tyre love. Here. My close family has been very helpful to me. During my tough past times. In my leisure. It's nice to keep up with my house. And if there if free time. A nice dinner will do. Weather I cook it. Or get to go out. Thank you.

Hello Everybody -- pleased to meet you -- I joined this site on 11 Feb 2017 INTRO: Joined the Army after HS, graduated from engineering school (BE, MS electrical engineering). Years later graduated from Journalism school (Columbia) -- migrated into advertising and copy writing, which I enjoy very much ---I'll never quit working. BEST KNOWN FOR: Physical fitness. Some people think I'm a fitness fanatic -- it's just an ingrained habit from the Army, My favorite Latin quote: "Mens sana in corpore sano," a sound mind in a sound body. The young weasels in my gym call me "the Bionic Man" ha ha ha. I'm in the gym 4 or 5 times each week -- - I started the fitness habit in the Army, age 18~present, and I credit this habit for my excellent health, energy, and upbeat outlook. I Infused the fitness habit into both my kids -- my son, former Navy SEAL, took it to the next level. PERSONALITY: People who know me well tagged me as a "comedian" during a work-related "personal branding" exercise. At first I thought "comedian" was ridiculous but - truth be told - I've been a bit of a class clown since grade school (acting up in the schoolyard and driving the nuns crazy). CAREER: Worked 10 years for Motorola and did a complete career switch in 1991 - graduated from journalism school, migrated into advertising, and acquired Samsung as client on contract basis (still one of my clients, since 1994). I was based in Asia (Seoul, Tokyo, Tianjin) in 1990s. KIDS: I'm proud of my two amazing kids - son is former Navy SEAL and now on Ph.D track in computer science at UC San Diego (and a National Science Fellow). My amazing daughter - an amateur acrobat and tightrope walker - went back to school and has made it halfway through a BS in mechanical engineering. We three have engineering in our DNA. WORLDVIEW: I'm a news junkie - opinionated but not obnoxious - - a right-winger and Trump fan. But I get along very well with informed left-wingers. LOCATION: I'm based in NYC but travel to FL frequently. Long term, I'd like to move to sunny South FL (Delray, Boynton -- anyplace hot, hot, hot in winter --- as close to the Equator as possible ;-) SWING DANCING: Lindy, 8-count, 6-count, East Coast --- i was really into this for about 10 years - lessons, competitions - traveled all over USA to swing events. This is already much more than I planned to say ... more later !

I am actually a pagan, Buddhist, Jew who nevertheless has far more in common with such radical (imho the truest of) Catholics like Dorothy Day and the Berrigan brothers (priests) than I have with most Jews. So if there are any radical activist Catholic women reading this open to someone like me who shares their values, I hope you'll write. Happy to then send a far more detailed profile. But since I realize the above might be a dealbreaker; i'll first see what reactions i get (or if the site will even let me stay here). My passions are threefold: justice, the planet and love. I have two startups, two apps, one of which addresses love (helping couples succeed, grow, thrive called couplewise, and the other an app in development called FightBack addressing the two most important and urgent matters our society and planet now faces: Overthrowing the fascist take over and keeping fossil fuels in the ground before it is too late (it might already be too late!)
