    Parishioner at a Latin Mass parish. City College student, studying applied math at the moment. Fan of the Rangers, Yankees, Giants, NYCFC, and Knicks, as well as of many and varied genres of music, not including rap music. Passionate foodie who specializes in Central European and Asian cuisine. Not a huge fan of Latin food; been there, done that. Ciders and IPAs are my favorite, but prefer a dark one with my dinner. Macrobrews are low-grade excuses for beer. Open to wine. Looking to date, short-term or long-term. If you just want to be friends, then I have to pass. +1 if you own a dog or a cat, I love pets. Wish to learn more about me? Shoot me a message.

    I joined the Army when I was 18 and got out four years ago after seven years on active duty. While in the Army I was an infantryman and went to Iraq for a year when I was 19 in 2005-2006. After returning home I applied to "The Old Guard" in Washington, DC and did funerals as a casket team member for four years. I got out of the Army when I was 25. I love history, and I follow politics very closely. I also like to watch/play football, basketball, baseball, and golf. I prefer the Tridentine Latin Mass, but I attend the regular Mass every Sunday and as often as I can throughout the week. I am attending Baruch College and studying finance.

    I consider myself very caring, sincere and honest. I believe being truthful and open is always the best way to go. I'm a gentleman and hold myself to a high standard of conduct. I am quite romantic as well. I have a great sense of humor. I'm very flexible and enjoy a wide range of activities. I enjoy hiking, camping, boating, as well as more refined activities like visiting museums, vineyards, charity galas and nice restaurants. I'm also fine just staying home and relaxing or having a bbq. My family means everything to me. I grew up with a very large and close family. Many people comment on what an amazing family I have. I agree. I have a sister and brother, and two cousins I grew up with so I count them.

    I am a simple man for the most part. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, weight lifting, and gaming. I am passionate about my faith and about practicing medicine. I'm looking forward to a career in primary care, where I hope to perform daily the Works of Mercy. I've had a lot of different experiences in my life that influenced me to become a physician as well as to study the faith. K-12 was Catholic school, then I transitioned to public college run by CUNY. I went to a secular medical school, and found a live for patient care and interaction, which I valued more than work in the research laboratory. I unfortunately left my faith in an act of personal cowardice after certain personal and family tragedies. I strayed from the Church, and lived a life similar to Saint Augustine prior to his conversion. I ultimately returned to the faith after crying out to the Lord in despair. "O God, come to my aid. O Lord, make haste to help me." He did, and He rescued me through the Blessed Mother. I examined the faith carefully, and began to take the time to begin to delve into the spiritual treasure trove that is our faith, and I fell in love. With concomitant shame and joy, the Prodigal Son had returned. This is my greatest experience of all: that I had gone on my own Exodus into Egypt, and the Lord, in His Mercy, descended and rescued me, leading me through desert trial of tribulation and purification. I returned to Rome Sweet Home, and in this, I have the greatest joy.

    27, New York, NY
    I'm most passionate about my faith. God comes first. Everything else is secondary. I've likely been shaped most by my experience in the military, my education and my former pastor. In times of leisure, I like to read. Actually, I spent at least 2 hours everyday reading (you should too!). Beyond that, I like going on walks and spending time with my family. Instaurare Omnia in Christo. Kyrie Eleison.
  • Rich, 30 from New York, NY
    {%action_menu%}
    30, New York, NY
    By way of introduction, here's three things about me, in no particular order: -I'm recently settled in NYC after six years in the Army. I loved being a soldier and I miss it, but am glad to move on. -I'm the eldest of seven brothers and sisters. The youngest is sixteen now, but she'll always eight years old to me, even is she's behind the wheel of a car. -The last book I read was about hiking trails in Pennsylvania. I can't wait for summer weather and campfires. The best things are done deliberately, but with grace. Wine with friends, or a smile when things are worst. Intentionality, but with charity. Can you look to the horizon and pack your bags at dawn? Can you be thankful for joy and sorrow both? Are you looking for someone with whom to grow in holiness? Is life for you a grand adventure? We should chat sometime soon.

    24, New York, NY
    I am passionate about many things in my life; my Catholic Faith being the top of all of those passions. This is why I desire a Catholic match so I can share my Faith. I am very passionate about my family and about personal hobbies such as interest in the arts, and professional passions in marketing and business. I believe my grandfather is my greatest hero and influence in my life, because he is a faithful person and also has led the family in a very upstanding way. I believe that Faith should be the center of the family. Some may call me old fashioned, but I always strive to be a true Catholic gentleman. With my leisure time I enjoy archery, movies, cooking, and when I can get away I enjoy hiking and camping, as well as traveling. I love going on cruises and to Walt Disney World when I can get away of the hustle and bustle.
