Hi, thanks for visiting my profile! A lot of new changes in my life. A new photo, and hopefully this year a new career and a new home! But the substance hasn't changed. I'm a hard worker. I'm a churchgoer. I'm a gentleman who treats women with respect. Being a Long Islander, I love our beaches! I've never married (so no baggage here) but I'm close with my family. And my life is actually more sitcom, less drama. My glass is always half-full, and my life isn't dull (in a good way!) The best is yet to come, so come on along, this should be a fun journey! If you're a Catholic, non-smoker on Long Island, feel free to drop a line anytime, and have a great day!

I am an IT (Information Technology) professional who loves to get out into nature in my spare time. I am a good listener and have an excellent sense of humor. I am intelligent, open-minded and am considered sociable and generous. I am also intensely loyal and honest.

I am a teacher at a Catholic School. I love working with children. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame. I love that school and follow their football team very closely. I am a big sports fan. I love baseball, football, and basketball. I have been coaching basketball for a few years now. I was a history major in college. I am very interested in history and politics (but I'm pretty horrified by the state of American politics right now). I like funny movies and TV shows. I am shy around people I don't know, but I am very close with my two older brothers and some good friends. Random facts about me: I can't blow up a balloon. I'm not sure what color my eyes are. People have told me that they're green, brown, or hazel. My driver's license says my eyes are hazel, but I don't know what color that is (you open up a box of crayons and there's no hazel in there). I love a good chocolate chip cookie. I don't understand why other types of cookies exist. When I have kids one day, I am convinced that God is going to give me all girls, because God has a sense of humor.

Hispanic, full Introvert: philosophical, theological, political and idealistic-realistic; pro-life and if you meet me, honesty is my signature. At a reasonable pace, I am open to meeting someone in person if and only if the interest amounts to that and the distance is reasonable. This whole thing of seeking the right person seems impossible for me-unless it is from the Lord. If you really think about it and if God wants it so, it is extremely easy inductively. I only seek one woman, the correct one for me and besides that isn't love makes all things easy!? Truth be told though the process is heart wrenching and soul searching if that right woman is on the same path then we must certainly cross them!

The nature of my profession at times does not always lend itself to a literal compliance with Catholic dogma. Thus, I confront the hypocrisy on a daily basis. However, from a more pragmatic stand point, we all have to earn a living! Thus, I carry on despite the hypocrisy. By the way,I enjoy home improvement ,movies ,fine arts.literature and music of any genre.

I am passionate to find the woman of my dreams and that she will love me for who I am and be there for good times and bad. I am grateful for God giving me the opportunity to serve my country and then after getting medically retired from the military I lost my father due to lung cancer. This moment killed me. I am recently been divorced. I have two children in my life which I love so very much. On my spare time I love to go out and see movies when I have time and love to read sometimes, and I love to go out running for exercise when I get the chance. I also love to go out and meet different people.
  • Nick, 23 from Glen Cove, NY

I am a devout Catholic, patriot, gamer, history buff, and classic rock lover. I enjoy making people smile and laugh. I value honesty, openness, kindness, and respect for others. I believe there are solutions to almost anything and I don't believe in holding grudges. I know I'm supposed to be writing about myself, but so many people have been essential in my life over the years. I thought I'd mention that my friends in the Catholic Campus Ministry at my college mean the world to me; I love them all and I wouldn't trade them for anything. My main hobby is playing video games and I love role-playing games like Skyrim and Kingdom Hearts and adventure games like The Legend of Zelda. I enjoy board games and card games too, but don't get to play them much, they're best to play when you have a lot of friends over to visit. I like pretty much anything that has to do with superheroes, but I don't read the comics (shocking, right?!), I enjoy watching some television shows like Daredevil or The Flash on Netflix or Amazon Instant Video. I enjoy talking about many other things besides my nerdy interests, I keep up with current events and I'm knowledgeable about many different topics, so if you're not into all of the same stuff I am, don't worry I'm flexible in terms of conversation. I equally enjoy having intellectual discussions as much as geeking out over video games or just talking about whatever.

Hi my name is Chris and I currently live in Merrick NY. I enjoy reading and movies. My favorite movies are Rocky and Star Wars. I also like to exercise. I enjoy running and biking when I have time to do it. I currently work with children with special needs in a group home. It can be very challenging and difficult at times but I really like working with kids. I do not go to Church every Sunday because I'm usually working but I understand the importance religion has in our lives. I'm really looking forward to the summer and taking some vacation!

Everyone thinks I'm in my 30s lol. It's how I feel and how I live. I love looking at a good sky day or night and miss not having you here to share it; I love holidays and going to Church and miss not having you here to celebrate with; I love getting into a good movie or tv show and miss not having you here to talk about it; I already love our kids and they haven't been born or adopted yet; I love the thought of finally meeting you.

I'm passionate about my interest in woodworking. I have been around tools all my life and use the skills I have learned to start a business last year called CT woodwork. I'm also passionate about the outdoors. I love going upstate and kayaking, fishing, mountain biking, sledding, and snowmobiling. It very peaceful up there and I really like that aspect of being up there. In my leisure time I enjoy watching my favorite TV shows, movies, hanging out with friends, being outside.
  • Damien, 33 from Merrick, NY
    33, Merrick, NY
I've been blessed with wonderful people in my life from great friends and mentors to my parents who have been together for 40+ years, and all of them in some way have helped me develop into the guy I am. I've been a musician/entertainer for over 20 years. I've taught music privately, done some public speaking, worked as a barista for a while and as of current I work in a bank, but in the end my passion is helping people unleash their potential. To that end, I have my own website which focuses on giving people the fuel they need every day to accomplish said unleashing, and I have also been very fortunate to be part of a business team that focuses on mentoring and leadership development. When I consider influences, I can't help but think of a trumpeter who freely took a young "cat" under his wing and showed him just what it meant to be world-class. He showed me the work-ethic and thought process of a champion. My old manager showed me what it was to be a servant leader, a person who did not demand the respect and admiration of others but rather earned it through his every word and action. A bandleader showed me the value of loyalty and what it is to pursue a dream despite the odds. I think of my Mom and Dad who continually show me that a marriage is not only a blessing from God but a true fountain of youth here on Earth. My Dad always told me to "make your worst arguments about who gets the last chocolate chip cookie in the box." My mother usually just nodded her head in agreement lest she spit out the cookie she was consuming. Her humor is overshadowed by her quiet, unshakable faith. Most of my life revolves around the consumption of copious amounts of coffee. I read a whole bunch (and yes I have read all of Harry Potter... thrice). I generally listen to jazz and classical music but I play in a modern wedding band... go figure. I also sing in my church choir. With regards to all the creative arts I'm extremely curious and when I plan "day adventures" I tend to go to museums or local shows. I enjoy being outside. Walking and hiking are just fine by me, and one day remind me to tell you about Buddyroestock, or the day I flew on a hot-air balloon, or that crazy trip to Prague. Oh, and "Dodgebee." Most importantly: Each day I purposefully grow in my faith and I do my best to embody it. In my experience I find that life is a beautiful journey made radiant by God's presence, and the best way to make it even better is to share that life with others.
