I am an open-minded white male of Italian-American decent. Residing in western Suffolk County NY I consider myself Adventurous, Spontaneous, Friendly, Kind, Humorous, Witty, Practical, Romantic, Serious yet Playful, Responsible and Loyal...a classy, open the door for a lady kind of guy. From the mundane to the most intimate secrets... Communication is key. When deception and lying enter a may start out small, but it always tends to grow...eventually the foundation of the relationship will crumble. Exercise is an integral part of my day and I do try to stay in shape. I take pride in my appearance and I am only interested in someone who does the same. One more thing; I realize that looks aren't everything...but to be honest, I believe in physical attraction, so please have a photo. I will not respond to any profile without one. There are 5 things in life you cannot recover: A stone... after it's thrown. A word... after it's said. An occasion... after it's missed. The time... after it's passed. A person... after they die. Life is short, break the rules, forgive quickly, kiss slowly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and...never ever regret anything that made you smile. Enjoy your life! "Never allow someone to be your priority while allowing yourself to be their option"...Mark Twain Thanks for reading my profile.

I just want to enjoy retirement. I enjoy reading books be it fiction or non fiction, american and world history etc. I belong to four theatre groups. I see about 16 plays a year and try to see the current movies. I come from a very close family which was a big influence in my life.

I love being with family and friends when I have time off. I am old school when it comes to sundays I believe you should not work go to church and spend it with family. Thing were some much easier and people would communicate with each other in person no by texting. I like technology but some times I think it hurt personality as well off corporations believing in the almighty dollar not family
  • Michael, 70 from Levittown, NY

Ok, I'm no kid and have been around and this relationship stuff has not gotten any easier, just crazier. Typed words will not tell you, the stuff I'm made of, or anyone else. I'm not perfect, a boy toy or rich, but I'm also not married and playing games ( you ladies never seem to learn, just cause it's shiny it's not gold ). While I'm close to my adult children I do enjoy my life. I love Surf fishing and beaches. Enjoy trips in my Truck RV. Trips to New Orleans or Florida Keys or cruse's once a year are high on my list. I'm a excellent dance partner ( if I can find a place to dance ) and a pretty good cook ( so not looking for someone to take care of me ). Which doesn't mean a night out in a good restaurant with someone special, is not looked forward to. Painting helps me relax ( been to some of the worlds best museums ). As you see, a very eclectic gentleman. I do not drink beer but like wine and whiskey and enjoy a occasional fine cigar. I own a tux but live in jeans. Southshore not Northshore, Jeep not BMW. I do not play tennis and hate the idea of golf. Ok, Occupation should read RETIRED. If you're NOT within a 30 minute drive from Levittown and LIVE ON Long Island, sorry, than I'm not for you. Not into long distance relationships. . I understand some are trying to turn back time, LOL good luck with that. If your passion has got up and gone, I'm not for you either. Good luck. Note, photos were taken Oct 2015 and I may be 70 but not dead, in short in very good shape. So if you're between 62 and 72, I'm interested. Take a good look at my photos and you have and idea of who I am.

  • Nicholas, 63 from New York, NY

I am a very positive good hearted person who looks for the good in everything. I am independent, secure, and happy with who I am and do. I'm new at this and moving a little slow, my lovely Dog keeps me level..I am classic romantic, (yes,i always open doors) and a gentleman,a realist, (on occasion), with a lifelong sense of humor... I'm a strong but kind man,(still a bit "old school") and yes an eternal kid at heart. Looking for a natural beauty inside and out, a Woman who inhales life, appreciates how precious it is, ( and how fortunate we are to inhabit this little Blue Planet circling the Sun) all with a good sense of humor, grace, and panache,(God fearing Woman, good cooking would be nice as well ). I'm looking for a good and God fearing Woman to have a lot of fun and laughs with. A big turn on for me is a Woman with a great smile, easy laugh, and a sense of humor- who doesn't take life too seriously and can roll with the punches.

I enjoy dining out on a Saturday night, the outdoors, shooting sports, you tube videos, and on occasion, trying something new & different. My mother and my father have been the most influential people in my life. Except for my little feline friend, I've lived alone for the past 18 months.

  • Gerald, 64 from Guilderland, NY
    64, Guilderland, NY
I am a devout but imperfect RC who became a widower in early 2016 after more than 38 years in one marriage. I had retired in 9/10 from a career of more than 31 years as a lawyer and administrative law judge. Upon retirement, I became a full-time care giver to my late wife and our disabled adult (age 36) son. I am a home maker and supervise 3 employees who help me with caregiving. (My sister in law has lived with us for the last 2 years. All 3 disabled family members have or had muscular dystrophy. To be clear, I plan to hire additional help as the caregiving needs of my loved ones increase. I am not looking for a match to help me with caregiving.) I am looking to form a wholesome, long-term relationship which I hope would result in marriage in the Catholic Church. I am more organized than most, very self reliant and a good cook and housekeeper. A key shortcoming is that I am too often impatient with others. A big blessing is that my 92 year old mother is still alive and well. My son and I visit her for at least 2 days each month about 200 miles from here. I have no debt and am financially very comfortable. It would be a big plus if any potential spouse were similarly situated. My late wife, son and I took at least one nice vacation each year before they became wheel chair bound. I would love to travel more in the future. I volunteered quite a bit in the past and would enjoy doing more of that too. Singing in the church choir was something I enjoyed very much. I am frequently told by people who do not know me that I have a wonderful baritone voice. One of my old pastors used to say frequently that we should "live simply so that others may simply live." I honestly believe I am living my life consistent with that message. I will not forget the past but I am very interested in creating new memories with the right person. If I had to sum up in a few words what I am really looking for going forward, I would say that I am looking for a relationship in which we will share the good times but also give each other support when difficult times come. I want to find someone who is interested in sliding enthusiastically rather that limping begrudgingly into home plate over what I have every reason to believe will be another 25-30 years.
