29, Keuka Park, NYI am a young professional in the Residence Life/Student Affairs field. I currently work at a small, private, liberals arts college as the Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life and Resident Director, and am loving every minute of it. I have combined my two passions in life and have fun every day at work. I am looking to find friendship, the love of my life, and share in all that this world has to offer. I know love exists, and I am just waiting to find Ms. Right to be Mrs. White!
31, Saratoga Springs, NYI would describe most of my life as rather nomadic. I grew up in a Navy family, was born and spent 7 years abroad (Norway, UK, Denmark) growing up. Those experiences, especially in my formative years, have shaped the person I am today. It definitely instilled a sense of "wanderlust" that will never go away; I am always keen for a new adventure. In a desire to somewhat follow in my Dad's footsteps, I attended college at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and oddly enough(its a maritime school), upon graduation, commissioned as an Army officer (National Guard). After my initial training in Oklahoma, I deployed to the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt for a year as an international peacekeeper with the Multinational Force and Observers peacekeeping mission. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life - and I have some phenomenal stories to tell. On the civilian side, since returning from the Sinai, I have been working mostly in the field of international maritime regulatory compliance (its easier if I explain in person, haha) which has also resulted in some amazing travels. Ok - thats my background. My interests? Global affairs, current events, sports, deep conversations, travel, hiking, exploring, history, new culinary adventures, a good Scotch, microbrews, sporting events, and the list can go on.... If any of this interests you, send me a note!
34, Ontario, NYI work as an engineer at a large corporation, and I look forward to spending time with my family when I am finished for the week. I like to play my musical instruments during my leisure time, especially my new mandolin.
34, Port Jefferson Station, NYI am passionate to find the woman of my dreams and that she will love me for who I am and be there for good times and bad. I am grateful for God giving me the opportunity to serve my country and then after getting medically retired from the military I lost my father due to lung cancer. This moment killed me. I am recently been divorced. I have two children in my life which I love so very much. On my spare time I love to go out and see movies when I have time and love to read sometimes, and I love to go out running for exercise when I get the chance. I also love to go out and meet different people.
29, Nanuet, NYI enjoy spending time with my family, boating on the Hudson River, running, hiking and being a devoted Catholic. The most influential people in my life are my family who I cherish.
26, Lancaster, NYHi everyone, I'm Tony and I'm looking for someone special. A quick cliff note summary about me: I enjoy spending time outdoors, warm tropical weather, traveling to new places, and, of course, the occasional Netflix binge. I also love to run, laugh, and have a good time, and can appreciate country music, hard work, and good science fiction. Family and belief in God in the Catholic tradition are also both important to me, which is why I'm starting my search here.
32, East Greenbush, NYHi, my name is Dennis. I recently moved up into the Albany area from down state and am looking to meet new people. I work as a scientist in a pharmaceutical company and outside of work I like exploring different things the area has to offer like hiking, seeing some of the historical attraction and checking out restaurants around here. One of the best restaurants I've been to is Rain Modern Chinese on Lark Street in Albany, the food was delicious. Some things that are important to me are family, friends and giving back to the community. I like to volunteer at different places to help some of the less fortunate in society, for example I used to volunteer at a nursing home down state to run a bingo night for the residents and visit some of the residents that didn't have many visitors. I also love dogs.
29, Troy, NYHi there my name's Nathan. A friend suggested I give this site a try so here I am! I'm a pretty mellow guy. I love spending time with my family, jokes, action movies and computers. I enjoy reading and sketching and I also enjoy spending time outdoors, especially when running or practicing archery. I also like to tinker with tools and machines, mostly as a hobby. I've lived in NY pretty much all my life and am currently in the Capital District where I work as a Starbucks Manager. Looking forward to meeting lots of folks on this site.
21, Depew, NYHey! My name is Christian. I love the Lord Jesus Christ more than anything I have ever known. He is my inspiration for everything I do, and He is by far the best example of how to live by. My comfort comes from the Lord! I am a sensitive guy, who loves the simple things in life; walks through parks, playing my guitar and ukulele, painting like Bob Ross, and enjoying the company of others. I am currently studying Religious Studies at Niagara University where I hope to get a job in ministry or religion teaching, that would be just about perfect for me! At the end of the day, I am looking for someone who loves god first, can bring me closer to God, and someone who can absolutely be my best friend on this long journey of life! God bless!
19, West Point, NYHi, my name is Andrew, and I'm 19. I am currently in school to become an officer in the army. I'm a fairly introverted guy, but I do enjoy the company of others- I'm just a lot more likely to express affection in actions rather than words. I have a pretty dry wit, so if you like puns and wordplay, you'll probably like me. I'm an outdoorsman; I grew up hunting, hiking, running, and camping, and that's still how I like to unwind and center myself. I'm also a bit of an aspiring writer. I have a novel in the works, but unfortunately I have less time to write than I would like.
33, Merrick, NYI've been blessed with wonderful people in my life from great friends and mentors to my parents who have been together for 40+ years, and all of them in some way have helped me develop into the guy I am. I've been a musician/entertainer for over 20 years. I've taught music privately, done some public speaking, worked as a barista for a while and as of current I work in a bank, but in the end my passion is helping people unleash their potential. To that end, I have my own website which focuses on giving people the fuel they need every day to accomplish said unleashing, and I have also been very fortunate to be part of a business team that focuses on mentoring and leadership development. When I consider influences, I can't help but think of a trumpeter who freely took a young "cat" under his wing and showed him just what it meant to be world-class. He showed me the work-ethic and thought process of a champion. My old manager showed me what it was to be a servant leader, a person who did not demand the respect and admiration of others but rather earned it through his every word and action. A bandleader showed me the value of loyalty and what it is to pursue a dream despite the odds. I think of my Mom and Dad who continually show me that a marriage is not only a blessing from God but a true fountain of youth here on Earth. My Dad always told me to "make your worst arguments about who gets the last chocolate chip cookie in the box." My mother usually just nodded her head in agreement lest she spit out the cookie she was consuming. Her humor is overshadowed by her quiet, unshakable faith. Most of my life revolves around the consumption of copious amounts of coffee. I read a whole bunch (and yes I have read all of Harry Potter... thrice). I generally listen to jazz and classical music but I play in a modern wedding band... go figure. I also sing in my church choir. With regards to all the creative arts I'm extremely curious and when I plan "day adventures" I tend to go to museums or local shows. I enjoy being outside. Walking and hiking are just fine by me, and one day remind me to tell you about Buddyroestock, or the day I flew on a hot-air balloon, or that crazy trip to Prague. Oh, and "Dodgebee." Most importantly: Each day I purposefully grow in my faith and I do my best to embody it. In my experience I find that life is a beautiful journey made radiant by God's presence, and the best way to make it even better is to share that life with others.
