I'm a maths graduate who by the grace of God ended up working in Liturgical publishing. My work involves typesetting Chant and Polyphonic music for both forms of the Mass (and Breviary). I've done a lot of work as a volunteer in a project to transcribe Gregorian Chant for an online repository. There's a resurgence of interest in Gregorian Chant and Sacred Polyphony, so I'm transcribing as much Chant as I can to help create a repository which Parishes etc. can easily create custom music booklets. I have an interest in digital preservation, hence the reason I've done so much scanning. I'm a mathematician, not a musician, so it's one of life's great ironies that I ended up in Liturgical Publishing (specializing in Sacred Music), and singing in a Parish Choir. I am also fascinated by linguistics, science, astronomy, history and economics. I love books, I don't read as much as I'd like to - I used to spend a lot of time reading blogs, I'm now trying to get into reading books. As much as I love ebooks, there is still no substitute for paper. I should also warn that I care about good writing, not just style - I'm rather overzealous about proper punctuation, capitalization and grammar. I've never been officially outside the Church, though when I was 24 I had my homecoming. I've been in love with Holy Mother Church ever since. I'm as phlegmatic as they come, so don't worry if I appear unexpressive - it's simply that I'm the stereotypical Minnesotan (except that I'm not American.) Regarding Myers-Briggs, I'm an INTP. Incidentally, my favourite muppet is Sam the Eagle.

I am passionate about not only learning more about but also walking my faith (the latter is something which i struggle with every hour and every day) I respect people who motivate me to get the best out of me as well as those who point out what I need to do to improve my self in aspects such as my profession, hobbies such as keeping fit etc I enjoy spending time chilling with friends, working out in the gym/going for a long run when I am free (or sometimes even reading up a bit more about my faith, general world history etc)

Hi there, I'm passionate about our Catholic Faith and I try to put God First - ((first things first (God's)) getting to Heaven and becoming a Saint is my main goal. As St. Augustine said 'my heart O'Lord is restless until it rests in Thee'. I go to weekly Sunday Mass and try to go to Daily Mass and pray the Rosary at the beginning of the day, as I believe this brings blessings on ones day / life. I live in fear and trembling before God and try at all times to remain in a State of Grace. Essentially, I'm a miserable sinner that wants to become a Saint. I'm a revert back to the Church 21 years ago. Initially, I was a Marian Charismatic, but now find myself a solid Traditionalist. I am mostly cheerful / joyful and possess a light-hearted sense of humor - yet can be quite serious when needed ;-). I believe the following Values / Virtues makes for a good man / husband - Integrity; Humility; Simplicity, Honor, Chivalry, Chastity ('Blessed are the pure of heart for they shall see God'), Temperance, Honesty; Reliability; Stability; Family Orientated; Respect; Pro-active; Strong Work Ethic; Logical Thinking (practical / common-sense); Personal Accountability; Disciplined Routine - yet can be Spontaneous; Teamwork - Husband & Wife = together helping each other to get to Heaven by living a Prayerful, Virtuous and Sacramental life; raising children, recreation, vacations, etc. Thank you for reviewing my profile and I wish you the very best in finding your match. God's peace, Michael
