Hello, welcome to my profile. My friends describe me as very easy going, friendly, honest, sincere, and a good listener. I am naturally shy, but, when people get to know me better, they become aware of my sense of humor, compassion, and charm. I am known for my quiet smile and playful banter with my friends and colleagues. I have a pool of friends that are from every part of the world and I enjoy the diversity that they offer. I like to invite people at my house for a cookout, drinks, or to watch a movie. I am a member of several local hiking groups and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. I enjoy traveling within NC and to more exotic locations. I like to read and I belong to couple of book clubs as well. In relationship, I value the importance of compassion, trust and love between partners. I would like to meet someone who is open minded, down to earth, and easy going who is looking for a long-term relationship. My faith is important to me, and I would like to meet someone with strong Christian values. No two people are identical, but I believe that a good relationship unfolds to make both people in a relationship into better people. If I meet her, then I will do whatever it takes to make her happy and to enjoy what life has to offer. I am comfortable in my own skin and I know how to treat a woman with love, caring and respect. I have not been blessed with children, but I am open to all possibilities. I have nieces and nephews that I love dearly and I treat them as my children. I love children and I believe that I could be a good father or step father. As with most shy people, meeting me in person will allow a much better understanding of me as a person and our compatibility. Have a wonderful day and I hope to hear from you soon!

Who am I? Simply put, I am Matt. I am passionate about quite a few things. For example, I am passionate about being a parent and giving my little girl the love she needs. Even though she lives out of state with my ex, I talk to her daily and I think we have a really good relationship. No matter how old she gets, she will always be my little girl. She's 5 1/2. I am passionate about my work. God has laid out a great opportunity with a great company and I am doing what I can to persevere and be the best employee I can. I read a quote once from Mark Cuban who said something along the lines of "Work like there is someone working 24-hours a day to take your job". I enjoy my work and am keeping my ears and eyes open to advance within the company to really make the most of myself. I am passionate about education. Even though I recently completed my MBA program, I believe education does not stop there. I really want to be able to put my degree to use and believe it is imperative to read up on various technology trends and articles and even re-reading textbooks. I do not want to be one of those people who receive a diploma and think "Ok. I'm done. Education over". I am passionate about my faith. Being a member of the Catholic Church, the only church founded by Jesus himself...how can someone not be passionate about it?! I enjoy going to mass. I enjoy listening to the homilies and paying attention to the message. I enjoy giving God the praise He deserves. There are so many books about the faith and I like reading what I can when I can. What I look forward to is advancing my career, continuing learning, continuing my relationship with my daughter, and I look forward to meeting that special someone. I may not have had the best relationship with my parents and at times still don't, but they have been influential to me. They gave me the opportunity to attend Catholic school from middle school through high school and supported my decision to go away to college. My daughter has also been influential. She was a driving force that kept me going through school for 2 1/2 years to earn my MBA. My degree was not just for my benefit, but for her's too. I consider my experience in DivorceCare to be pivotal to me. There I met some great people who were going through the same thing at the time and realized I wasn't alone and have cultivated good friendships with some people in the group. Free time: reading, writing, going for walks, spending time with friends,

Here is all you need to know for now: I am confident, smart, and witty and thoughtful. I am a city boy with country gentleman manners. I enjoy jogging and an active lifestyle so my mind can stay sharp and I stay healthy physically. My friends would say that I am smart, loyal, a good father, a good listener, and non-judgmental, and an all around nice guy. I will tell you I am NOT that nice. I have lived and loved with passion and conviction. I believe that chemistry is "friendship on fire" and it cannot be forced or contrived. My favorite place is a bookstore with a cup of coffee, my one true vice. I am a former attorney that loves teaching the law to students in higher education. I love mentoring others. I am a romantic in every sense, as I believe in the best in others, appreciate the beauty in art and literature and think that the special someone gives you butterflies when you see a text from them, or know you are going to see them. Family is important, and my faith is a rich part of my family history, past and present.

My life has been so rich and varied in experiences that I cannot sum them simply or generalize them. It's as though I've lived ten lifetimes in one. Name a theme in life and there's been exceptional experiences... I'll add more later.
