Take my quiz. This life is boot camp for the next life. This life, though important, is short. Eternity is forever. Conform your will to God's will. If you are willing to devote your life to glorifying him, then he will give you all you need to do that. If He wants change in your life, then He will provide it. "A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate." - God the Son I don't know if it's God's plan for me to marry, but I remain open to it. I consider myself a conscientious, devout Catholic. I'm always trying to learn more about our faith. The rest of the profile should give you an idea about me. If you like the FSSP sermons on youtube's Sensus Fidelium (formerly Video Sancto) channel and watching 19 Kids and Counting, we'd probably get along well. Crede, ut intelligas.

Hi, thanks for reading my profile. I'm a goal oriented, hard working guy with a great life and a tight-knit family. Faith and family are important to me. I love playing with my nieces and nephews. Being from a small, rural town where sports are everything, I can be extremely competitive. I'm a very down to earth guy, who enjoys trying new things and meeting new people. Having friends from various backgrounds, I enjoy good, intelligent conversation even if we don't always agree on everything. I'm a very good listener and can be very talkative if I meet the right person or if it's a topic I'm interested in. I can have more of a dry or quirky sense of humor. I'm able to do something like karaoke, but may need a little push to do it. lol I enjoy watching the news, the Reds, the Browns, and OSU football. Being a Browns fan can be excruciating at times! lol I enjoy fishing, playing softball, being outdoors, woodworking, and taking short vacations. I stay active by lifting weights and riding my bike. I have a good job as a teacher and am always financially sound. Teaching has become a job that I really enjoy. To me, being successful in life is about making good choices, moderation, patience, and being level headed. I have these qualities. I'm looking for a girl that I could call my friend and possibly something more in the future. She needs to be genuine, honest, level headed, and a good communicator. She needs to know what she wants out of life. She also needs to hold some of the traditional values that I deem as important. I attribute these values to helping me through some very difficult moments in my life. I would like to settle down and raise a family of my own. For me, this would give me much more fulfillment and purpose in life. With that being said, I do have a great life and I'm not desperate...just looking for that special someone to share life's ups and downs with if they happen to come along. I'm down to earth, intelligent, well read, hardworking, and not afraid to get my hands dirty. I really do have a lot to offer someone, just looking for that right person. Thanks for reading my profile.

I am age 58. Educated as an economist. Worked in the investment industry for many years ... but was not happy. I considered the monastic life. Then, following a JustFaith formation process, I discovered Dorothy Day and spent the last ten years as a Catholic Worker living and working with homeless men and women. It has been a wonderful time of spiritual growth. Now I am a semi-retired Catholic Worker. I continue to function as Executive Producer of the Catholic Internet Television Network. I film Catholic documentaries and host webcast events. I work out of the house and travel frequently. I go on spiritual retreat for a week each year to Gethsemane Trappist Monastery. I enjoy walking, swimming, bicycling along the downtown River corridor, cooking, philharmonic, swing bands, museums, theater, travel and walking with Molly. I am trying to age gracefully ... beginning to count calories each day ... ugh! I am a reader ... classics, prize winning literature, history, biography, theology, philosophy, economics, business, science, politics I attend Mass at St. Mary's on Saturdays and St. Joseph's at noon during the week. I practice the Catholic Worker charism of voluntary poverty, providing support for homeless men and women in recovery from addictions. I do not drive a car ... I take the bus. I have been a member of AA for 35 years. I enjoy hosting dinner parties for close friends ... many of whom are religious. I reside in a historic schoolhouse located in the Huffman Historic District in East Dayton. My 1500 sq. ft. 2-bedroom apartment was a classroom ... it features 20" ceilings with lots of light. I participate in the Christmas Carol historic homes tour in period costume. I share my home with a old beagle named Molly and a homeless mentally mentally ill person in recovery until he/she is stabilized and capable of living independently. I attend a monthly dinner at alternating local restaurants with a Circle of Friends ... U.D. academics, lawyers, a Federal Judge, a retired bank president, management consultants, a K12 teacher, a hospital VP, a WPAFB Colonel, an engineer and a Vatican U.S. Ambassador ... quite an eclectic group. We pick a topic for discussion ... generally a social issue ... and utilizing the tools of Theological Reflection attempt to focus discussion through the lens of Catholic Social Teaching. Always an interesting evening.

I graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in chemical engineering. My faith is very important to me, whether it be my lay community, or my daily life, it is always there. I love to adventure, hike, climb, run, backpack, play cello and piano, and perform improv comedy.
  • George, 69 from Dayton, OH
    69, Dayton, OH
I look forward to being with my better half for the rest of my life. Being in Vietnam was very influential in my life. Don't take anything for granted. In my leisure time I like to dine out, go to movies, fish, travel, play cards, board games, sports, workout, go to muesums and anything my partner would like to do. Not afraid of a commitment. Will always treat my special lady with the respect she desrrves.

Here are some things that are essential to know about me: I work as a theologian and librarian at a Catholic university, and am a member of the Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites. I am contemplative and intellectual, and love books and the arts (especially film). I have been to Europe five times (three times to Italy and twice to France) to visit sites of religious, historical, or genealogical significance. I have a beautiful cat named Barnabas.
  • Mike, 23 from Dayton, OH
    23, Dayton, OH
I am Mike a recent college grad from Aquinas College (May 2015) Grand Rapids MI with a BA, having majored in Theology, and minored in History and Catholic Studies. I will be furthering my academic career by attending the University of Dayton to pursue a Masters in Theological studies starting August 2015. I'm known as a workaholic, sometimes a prudish stick in the mud, or to serious, but i know how to have fun and be funny, i love spending time with friends and having a good time, if that is shopping at the mall, watching movies or TV, getting coffee, going out to eat, or just sitting around talking I'm down. I'm not much of a partier, but i do have fun. I'm looking for a mature relationship. i don't want to have to play any games, i don't want to have to worry about sex messing things up, I'm looking for an honest mature and fun relationship, drama free, I'm looking for that girl i get to buy flowers for, the one who wants to spend time with me, and just listen to me vent about the things that I'm passionate about. Someone to hold hands with and curl up on the couch with to watch a movie, someone i can care for and who cares for me just as much.

  • Joseph, 25 from Dayton, OH
    25, Dayton, OH
Hello! My name is Joseph. I prefer Joe. I am passionate about stories. I am not a student of literature, but I have a vivid imagination, and I value the power of words, written and spoken. I am generally a quiet guy, but if I get into a topic I enjoy, I can talk for hours. I'm also a math & science nerd. The two people I look up to the most are my dad and my older brother. My dad is the strongest example to me of what it means to be a Catholic man. I hope to be as good a father to my children as my dad has been to me. My brother is one of my closest friends, and has always been there to nudge me to try new things, and helped me to conquer my fears. Some of my high school teachers were also instrumental in making me the man I am today. If I were to describe myself in Doge: "Such hair. Very math. So book." When I am not playing with dirt (that's my job in a nutshell), I spend my time reading, writing, and biking.

  • Giovanni, 26 from Dayton, OH

Hello. I am currently a part-time student trying to obtain a Master's Degree. I also work full-time to earn an income. After a change in heart, I have decided to be open-minded in attempting to be in potential relationship with a Catholic woman. However, I would like to mention that I want to start out as friends first before going to the next step in becoming boyfriend/girlfriend and way before it turns into a possible marriage. I am interested in scientific topics, world history, reading, gaming, soccer, film theory, pop-culture (a little bit), music (Jazz, Metal, Classical, and Synth are some examples), and cooking. I see myself having a professional career with financial stability and a sense of satisfaction in every aspect of my life, while having the opportunity to help others in every way I can. I hope to get to know you. :)
