I'm currently a lawyer, however being a lawyer is kinda boring. Instead, I plan to move to Michigan and become a pirate. My law school friends and I are planning to set up location in the Upper Peninsula and attack passing merchants on Lake Michigan as they make their way to Duluth. I even learned how to build a wooden cannon from the show Mythbusters. Apparently, several of my friends have boats and firearms, so I think this plan is foolproof. Of course, it's always possible the economy will improve, in which case I suppose I could stay. If this is the case, I am sure a part of me will always regret not having the opportunity to experience the adventurous life of a Michigan pirate, but the job stability will be a big payoff. What else... besides pirates, I like photography, biking, camping, practicing my faith, and hanging out with family and friends.

Some things that are important to me are: prayer, education, good conversations and spending quality time with friends. My hobbies are: playing volleyball, going to the theater, watching movies, shooting billiards, spending time with friends, stimulating conversations, and much more... A couple of my current short-term goals are: finishing my master's degree in social work and get my clinical license in social work.

Take my quiz. This life is boot camp for the next life. This life, though important, is short. Eternity is forever. Conform your will to God's will. If you are willing to devote your life to glorifying him, then he will give you all you need to do that. If He wants change in your life, then He will provide it. "A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate." - God the Son I don't know if it's God's plan for me to marry, but I remain open to it. I consider myself a conscientious, devout Catholic. I'm always trying to learn more about our faith. The rest of the profile should give you an idea about me. If you like the FSSP sermons on youtube's Sensus Fidelium (formerly Video Sancto) channel and watching 19 Kids and Counting, we'd probably get along well. Crede, ut intelligas.

Thank you for looking! I like the simple things in life; namely, I like reading, walking & talking, hiking, playing my guitar for fun, building guitars, riding my bicycle for enjoyment and of course family activities. Family has always been important to me as I am the father of 3 very respectful & polite boys (23, 21, & 19 years old), all in college.

Hi, I'm Ken. I work full time in a production shop making windshields. I like to read, and cook. I enjoy a good beer or coffee with friends once in a while. Love to get outdoors, hiking, fishing. I enjoy reading about St. Francis of Assisi and his life and spiritual walk. As far as what I want in life, and religious beliefs and calling/vocation goes, I am working on furthering my career in production with certification training classes, and working on getting a house. I also have a religious aspiration of being a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. It is a branch of the Franciscan Order that, instead of taking vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, they live out their secular lives in accordance with the study and practice of Franciscan faith and teaching. Alongside that, I am on here for dating, and to settle down with a relationship.

Greetings! I am usually a fairly quiet and reserved person. But I can also be goofy at times. I'm good at listening to people. My family is very important to me and I am really close with them. My faith is important to me. As for my hobbies, I like to do almost anything where I get to be hands-on and make something. I like to be creative. Drawing is something that I like to do in my free time. I am working with a writer on drawing a graphic novel that is inspired by Catholic values. Since I have been gluten-free I have developed an interest in cooking gluten-free recipes. I am currently working on trying to brew a good gluten-free beer. Though I don't currently do so, I have been in several theatrical performances. I once acted in a movie my friends made.

I am in a stage in my life where quality of experience is paramount. I have spent to much time with people who do not see or hear the joy that is in front of them. I am a very sensitive and caring person with a heart that has been broken but repaired many times. I don't understand most people's difficulty with life, but I am tired of trying to understand it and just love them in their unique places. I am looking for someone who is compassionate and understands the dimensions of our faith and can share and contribute to a romantic life and who has the time and patience to grow a relationship not exhaust it. I have spent thirty years living, giving and losing and am somehow not bitter but well educated to love in a very special way - the woman who will appreciate the glow of the Spirit within and cherish and kindle that flame. I used to tend toward the hopeless romantic side of life but now want someone who loves me for who I am not for the provider or temporary teacher I might have accidentally signed up to be. I want someone who wraps me in affection and stands strong in the face of eternity, someone who reflects a limitless irrational love that builds a perfect home for two people to illuminate within just because they love each other enough to be there for each other in a kind and real way. I live by a concept that I only now know as an abandonment to divine providence. Simply put, I decided to dive all the way in with God and just let him rule every aspect of my life and He just keeps adding things to my experience in this life that remind me every second of everyday that His real presence is not from a distance, but it is real and tangible - all around you and inside you. Clarity was something hard to find, which I think is why it's given instead of found. To me there is no other reality but God's reality and subsequent grace. I guess when life humbles you, you walk away with this amazing gift that somehow pushes you closer to Him - which is everything, really.

Setting up an account was a big deal for me, or should I say , "will be." I guess I'm too cheap to start paying for the whole ordeal quite yet. I'm hoping this website will help me meet the right person. It might take a few tries, but what's the worse case scenario? I have a new friend, or better yet--meet a sister in Christ? Nonetheless I think having an algorithm match people based on shared values is better than meeting folks at a party or bar--I suppose. However I'm not putting "everything about myself" on here. That's what conversations are for. Currently I'm working at a radio station, homeless shelter, and for U.S. Senator Rob Portman. I'd like to go to grad school in the next 10 years or so as well. I loved growing up in Ohio, but who knows what the future holds? When I have free time, I unplug and get outside. I love to golf, hike, canoe, fish--you get the picture. Going out or just kicking it with friends is fun too. It just depends what day of the week it is I guess. I'm hoping and praying to find my soul mate. Life's too short to be alone. If you're interested in getting to know me, then shoot me a message or request an interview or something. Trust me--I'm not the shy type.

Interests: The foundation(s) of my life are my faith, family & friends, fitness activities, and several hobbies. I was raised in a Catholic home/upbringing, with parents who provided good direction and example, and an extended family that enriched my life. Great memories, and life goals to try to emulate. Life has many speed bumps, of course, but God's grace and blessings have been with me throughout. Today, I have a very active lifestyle. As a competitive runner, I have been traveling extensively over many years of running and racing. Mountain climbing, hiking, and winter sports are also an important part of the agenda. Friends and family are scattered over the Midwest and Northeast, and I do most of the traveling to maintain my many long term and valued relationships. The running agenda has worked well with my commitments to those I care about. Additionally, I have a vacation property on the Potomac River in Maryland, enjoy several trips to the Adirondack Mountains for fitness activities each year, and have a summer vacation at "Lakeside" on Lake Erie. Background: My Mom's family is from the Cleveland area, my Dad's family from Rochester, NY. I grew up in Rochester, graduated from the University of Dayton, and also have a Masters Degree in City Planning from Ohio State. I am a big sports fan, particularly of UD & OSU, and enjoy attending games with friends in Dayton. I live near UD, and enjoy the urban neighborhood. Other important interests include politics, a conservative, and reading. I have an extensive library of history, religion, and political topics, and church/parish activity. I was the oldest of five, with four sisters, three of whom are also University of Dayton graduates. While I have no children, there are many valued family members who enrich my life. I do some planning consulting work, but essentially have considerable spare time for my many interests and relationships. I am open to friendship, companionship, a possible relationship with someone of if the opportunity is mutual. Faith: I am active in my parish, and enjoy scriptural reading and study as time permits. The journey of faith is ongoing, and of importance in my daily life and relationships. My friends and family are generally like minded in their faith, and practice, and would wish that agenda to be mutual with any future relationship.
