Thank you for viewing my profile. Allow me to share a few things that are important to me. What is important to me? Family is very important. I am dedicated to my family. I raised my two children alone since they were in about first grade. I have a son and a daugher. Both are married now. My son has two precious daughters. I am a lifelong Catholic. My faith is essential to me. Prayer and faith are what have sustained me through many difficult and uncertain times. What do I enjoy? I enjoy being with friends and sharing stories, laughing and even listening to their concerns. I have often been told that I am a very good listener. I enjoy dancing- social ballroom dancing including waltz and swing. Even though I have been dancing for many years, I cannot claim to be very good at it. But I have fun and enjoy the opportunity to meet new people. I enjoy learing and reading and discovering new things. I am a biochemist so these traits can help explain my career choice. I enjoy eating out or cooking at home. I am not a particularly good cook. Following a recipe is somewhat like following directions for a lab experiment, and at times, it might a challenge to tell the difference between the results of the two. I enjoy being in the country. I do live in the suburbs but I am still a country boy at heart. I am more comfortable in jeans rather than in a suit and tie. I know that i am not the most attractive man on this site, but I hope that some of my other features are of interest. What am I looking for? That is dfficult to say. The years have shown me that building a relationship is dfficult and takes a lot of work and patience. But here are some of my thoughts. I am looking for someone who can be my best friend - someone with whom I can share my life - my happiness and joy, my struggles and disappointments and my dreams. I want someone to pray with. Thank you for reading this and I wish you the best. Philip

I love God and I love people. When I awake each day, I ask Him "who can I Bless today?" No hurry here, it took a lot of effort to feel this good about me and life, after a divorce that was not of my choosing. I started a missionary life, 2010 in Belize. In August 2011 I took over seeing after my mothers needs. she passed away with me singing to her in the spring of 2013. My grieving is now complete, so I am missionary with out a mission currently and recently retired.. The grandchildren keep coming with six now. Grey/White hair has taken over and yet I still want to play everyday. I accept growing old, but never wanting to grow up.

I consulted a few friends and acquaintances to give you an unbiased picture of me. The names have been omitted to protect the guilty. My MD is glad to report that I'm pretty healthy, but he wishes Id see him more often. He has a brand new Corvette and a condo in Vail, and could use a little help with the monthlys. My best friend appreciated me helping him get moved to his new residence recently, but he was kind of upset. He said hed be billing me for his talking/ singing Billie Bass that I accidentally kicked down two flights of stairs. Poor ole Billie couldn't carry a tune after that traumatic experience. He sounded a lot like Flipper the dolphin. Gee, who knew theyd ever be collectible?! My orthopedic surgeon, who's been intimate with my left meniscus said its completely healed now, and to go ahead with skiing and my other normal activities. Although he advised that I might want to think twice about bungee jumping at the New River Gorge, or competing on the Olympic break dancing team. Im really gonna miss the break dancing... The security officer at work said she enjoys the laugh I give her each morning, even though its often politically incorrect. My hair stylist said she likes my hair because theres a little less of it to cut each month. Shes urging me to consider canceling my super-platinum-double-lifetime subscription to "The Hair Club for Men. Im thinking she might have ulterior motives. I tracked down the highway patrolman, errr patrolwoman that stopped me for 81 in a 65 a few years back. She said she was still mad that I called her sir I usually dont have problems with the gender thing, but in my defense, she did have a crew cut and dark sunglasses. And those red & blue flashing lights in the rear view mirror do funny things to a guy. But seriously, Im passionate about living and sharing life to the fullest and serving God and others as best I can. I try to look on the positive side of things. I enjoy working on home improvement projects around the house, landscaping, and the restoration of my old muscle car. I like to hit the bike trails in the area as well as state parks. Im also up for anything that sounds like fun. It could be a walk in the Hocking Hills, an afternoon at Cedar Point, or an evening roasting/ burning marshmallows around a bonfire.

I enjoy being with people. It appears lately I have been occupied with work. I am self-employed in the electronic-chemical industry. I travel outside of the Columbus area quite often and spend half my time in Canada or on the East coast. When I am here, I am very involved in catholic based activities; Knights of Columbus, Ushering, Eucharistic Minister, Volunteering. I keep a file folder which contains places, projects and things I would like to do/see someday. I am open to try new things. I tend to lean towards the arts. I enjoy new restaurants, music, jazz, museums. Once I get going I am a fun guy. I like to laugh!

Hello, thanks for taking time to review my profile. I am very passionate about my children (21 & 19) along with my career which I've been blessed with working with wonderful people. Had a great family growing up and my parents had a tremendous influence. Enjoy golf, Indy racing, reading and walking. New to dating seen last year I've found few women who have a passion for their faith. Going to Mass is my favorite time of the week and I've realized to build a solid foundation in a relation my first choice would be to meet a lady who also enjoys going to mass together, breakfast afterwards is always great.

Hello. I know what God's plan was for me after all these years. Have been taking care of my Mother for the last 4 years. She has passed. Loved every second of it. My goals have been completed. Still miss her terribly. I promised her I would survive. I promised her I would finally look after me. Took an early retirement. Not rich, but, am taking a couple of years off to enjoy life before returning to the workplace. In order to keep my sanity, I came up with a three point plan that has finally been completed in July, 2016. Finalized Mom's estate. Remodel 6 rooms on the first floor. Lost 137 pounds in 27 weeks. In taking this time off, I find myself alone. Have to watch the bad eating habits. They are starting to creep back. Think I'll join a club as the weather grows cold. Might relive the high school days and perform "Two a days" with regard to lifting. My interests include: Beaches, Gardening, Beaches, Harleys, Golf, Fishing, Camping, Weightlifting and taking cruises. Did I already mention beaches? Also entertaining the idea of adopting a couple of rescue pups. This is a unique experience for me. Hopefully will be able to come up with a right answer or two. I think developing a FRIENDship first leads to a great RELATIONship. Always love to chat. Always love to meet for coffee, lunch or whatever first. My best wishes to all.
