I love God and I love people. When I awake each day, I ask Him "who can I Bless today?" No hurry here, it took a lot of effort to feel this good about me and life, after a divorce that was not of my choosing. I started a missionary life, 2010 in Belize. In August 2011 I took over seeing after my mothers needs. she passed away with me singing to her in the spring of 2013. My grieving is now complete, so I am missionary with out a mission currently and recently retired.. The grandchildren keep coming with six now. Grey/White hair has taken over and yet I still want to play everyday. I accept growing old, but never wanting to grow up.

I consulted a few friends and acquaintances to give you an unbiased picture of me. The names have been omitted to protect the guilty. My MD is glad to report that I'm pretty healthy, but he wishes Id see him more often. He has a brand new Corvette and a condo in Vail, and could use a little help with the monthlys. My best friend appreciated me helping him get moved to his new residence recently, but he was kind of upset. He said hed be billing me for his talking/ singing Billie Bass that I accidentally kicked down two flights of stairs. Poor ole Billie couldn't carry a tune after that traumatic experience. He sounded a lot like Flipper the dolphin. Gee, who knew theyd ever be collectible?! My orthopedic surgeon, who's been intimate with my left meniscus said its completely healed now, and to go ahead with skiing and my other normal activities. Although he advised that I might want to think twice about bungee jumping at the New River Gorge, or competing on the Olympic break dancing team. Im really gonna miss the break dancing... The security officer at work said she enjoys the laugh I give her each morning, even though its often politically incorrect. My hair stylist said she likes my hair because theres a little less of it to cut each month. Shes urging me to consider canceling my super-platinum-double-lifetime subscription to "The Hair Club for Men. Im thinking she might have ulterior motives. I tracked down the highway patrolman, errr patrolwoman that stopped me for 81 in a 65 a few years back. She said she was still mad that I called her sir I usually dont have problems with the gender thing, but in my defense, she did have a crew cut and dark sunglasses. And those red & blue flashing lights in the rear view mirror do funny things to a guy. But seriously, Im passionate about living and sharing life to the fullest and serving God and others as best I can. I try to look on the positive side of things. I enjoy working on home improvement projects around the house, landscaping, and the restoration of my old muscle car. I like to hit the bike trails in the area as well as state parks. Im also up for anything that sounds like fun. It could be a walk in the Hocking Hills, an afternoon at Cedar Point, or an evening roasting/ burning marshmallows around a bonfire.

I enjoy being with people. It appears lately I have been occupied with work. I am self-employed in the electronic-chemical industry. I travel outside of the Columbus area quite often and spend half my time in Canada or on the East coast. When I am here, I am very involved in catholic based activities; Knights of Columbus, Ushering, Eucharistic Minister, Volunteering. I keep a file folder which contains places, projects and things I would like to do/see someday. I am open to try new things. I tend to lean towards the arts. I enjoy new restaurants, music, jazz, museums. Once I get going I am a fun guy. I like to laugh!

I was born and raised on the Rhode Island coast and although I have been in Columbus a number of years, R. I. still feels like home. Am an attorney, author of five books, taught at Ohio Dominican and Columbus State. Enjoy PBS, WOSU (Classical 101, Masterpiece Theatre, all the crime type programs available through Acorn Media (Inspector Lewis, Morse, Kavanagh QC, Frost, Lynley, etc) as well as Doc Marin and Downton Abbey. My friends describe me as curious and inquisitive and one who enjoys engaging in intelligent conversation, especially political and current events. Have been involved in a number of political campaigns. Used to play sports, but now it is mostly golf for about 8 months of the year. Still work out most days and do yoga once a week.

I am easy going, a cup always half full. My nickname at work, these days, is "mr. wonderful", this is because, when asked. "how are you" I almost always respond with WONDERFUL or Fantastic. I look forward to meeting someone special to complete this journey with, that we know as life. Family is important to me, I hope it is important to you as well. I enjoy music (almost any). I have music going almost all the time. I enjoy watching and attending sporting events, concerts, an occasional night out. I try to golf and bowl. Even enjoy a few computer games, Words with Friends, and Dice with Buddies.

I'm an ex- broadcast engineer now self employed. I'm widowed and looking for the last love of my life. I'm far from perfect.. and don't expect you to be either. Enjoy quiet surroundings such as a peaceful lake, fishing and watching the wildlife on the shore or listening to Enya while unwinding..eating out occasionally is a nice bonus as well as doing things I've never done before. Look up Pisces and that pretty well describes me. Have been described as a renaissance man and a romantic, Believe in best friends first and then whatever evolves. Love the beach and the ocean but there's not much of that in Ohio. Live in a rural area and have 8 outside cats that people have thrown out (they need love too!). Go to Dawes Arboretum occasionally and enjoy driving thru the Hocking Hills or a have a picnic and walk through the caves, especially in the fall. Like roller coasters and amusement parks but there are none nearby so that becomes a "special" event. Prefer the quiet and intimacy of small out of the way venues or cooking at home . A great day ends with cuddling or holding each other and sharing the events of the day - the good and the bad - and taking the time to listen. I try to do everything I can to avoid loading up the landfills... Re-use, Re-purpose, Repair and Recycle.. leave as small of a carbon footprint as possible. I sometimes spend WAY too much time repairing something just "because I can". I'm somewhat a work-a-holic, enjoy what I do and the people I do work for (primarily law enforcement and corporations)

I am a shallow, conceited, arrogant prick. I can also be the most sincere, thoughtful, gentleman you meet. I believe life is all about taking chances and meeting new people, experiencing new things, and having your perceptions altered. People think they have a "type." People think I have a "type." I prefer not to categorize people. Personally, I like to go out to bars, museums, clubs, restaurants, malls, etc. I like to have a good time wherever I am and I love to laugh and make others laugh. In my time alone I enjoy keeping up with the news, staying fit, and drinking wine. I love to cook at home, kick back in my robe and watch movies with a spicy cigar or smooth scotch...or both. I do give foot rubs if I like you. If you're the type who just looks at pictures to decide who you will talk to, that's great; I can be just as one-dimensional as you. If you actually read profiles that's cool, too; I love conversation. Please don't waste my time if you're still "figuring out what you want" or any of that BS. You need to know you want me and be up front if you don't. I don't respond to games. I'm mature enough to walk away and I hope you are, too. I love music of all sorts. I'll get down with whatever's good. I've got my tastes but I'm not a snob. I like Lady Gaga as much as I do Sinatra, however I hate the Black Eyed Peas. My two favorite movies are... 1. Robocop 2. The Adventures of Milo & Otis If you don't need a drunken night of karaoke to loosen up and you can laugh at Beavis & Butt-Head then we might get along. My ideal is someone who can be happy wrapping up in a blanket and watching Jersey Shore. You'll have to put up with a lot of Arnold Schwarzenegger memorabilia laying around, though. I'm on here to meet people. Take a chance and message me.

I'm big-hearted, caring, happy, independent, trustworthy, kindhearted, compassionate, family oriented, and faithful. People comment on my smile ( I tend to smile a lot!). I'm looking for someone that enjoys life and is somewhat spontaneous -- someone that is positive about life and what our earth, country and community have to offer.
