34, Steubenville, OH
As a senior in college graduating in spring, it's time to spend some time on here.
I grew up in a Catholic home and was homeschooled. I was preserved from both sin and success, and my adult life has been marked with overcoming both my fear and my limitations.
After ten years of working in garden centers, I walked away from everything I knew and went out west to Ohio to pursue a bachelor's' in theology and a minor in philosophy at Franciscan University so that I could better serve the Church as a layman.
I love philosophy, theology, and good discussions about the meaning of life. I also enjoy the country, the outdoors, and gardening.
I prefer the country over the city any day; my ideal time spent involves going to a park, going for a hike, and having a picnic or cookout over eating out.
Money is a big deal. I believe in having things that are sufficient and reliable but other than that, I prefer to not spend money on passing things. I can have a good quality of life without luxuries or high expenditures; what I treasure most are the real things, which money doesn't buy. Good times, authenticity, philosophy, life, nature, the outdoors.
I am not too big into dressing up. I am very much a T-shirt and jeans guy. One of my hobbies is cutting T-shirts into DIY tank tops. To me, they are more authentic and fit better than those in the store. Plus, I have a reputation across campus as the "bro-tank master" to uphold ;)
My ideal evening is to kick back and relax on the porch with a beer/drink and talk philosophy. Though if the drink is regular I will sometimes go on short alcohol fasts for a few days. I made a promise I would never be dependent on alcohol.
I want to get back into eating healthier. Less processed foods and start growing my own foods.
My ambitions are to start an iris business, farm my own vegetables and produce, and write books on philosophy.
I did that temperament thing. I think I am closer to 60-40, but the description is accurate.
I am looking for someone who can be my lifelong best friend, who can be with me in this journey. Someone who pushes me to sainthood, to success, to virtue, and who I can raise a family with and who I can live in community with. And I will try my best to be that to her too.
They say that the man should make the first move. So feel free to send an emote and say "hi" and that way you give me a chance to make that first move.
